Upon making a reservation, it was unclear if she understood that there would be 3 of us coming. The signals got crossed and they weren't prepared when we arrived, yet they were able to accommodate all of us. Full strength massage which left us feeling great. After the massage, my son went to pay and gave a 15% tip and the lady demanded 20%. She specifically said, you need to give me $5 more. A tip is not mandatory and I did not like that at all. If you want an extra 20% she should include it in the price. We will not be going back. read more

So unfortunate. After seeing their website I booked a two hour deep tissue massage for the same day. The website was very nice and it said that a 120 min. deep tissue massage was $120 and that it included 1) Marble eye stone treatment; 2)Neck and shoulder hot wrap and 3) Lower back hot stone. During the massage I got none of the included items nor were they ever offered. The massage itself was just ok, but the masseuse was very unprofessional - she took two calls during the massage, one which seemed to be about a personal matter and another that was another booking. Talk about a buzz kill! At the end, when I went to check out, I see that there is a piece of paper on the desk that says that the prices are $70 PER HOUR and an extra $30 for deep tissue - a total of $170, a full $50 more than their website. I got a song and dance about how they don't update their website. Not my problem. The start was quite unprofessional too. I hav had many massages around the world. In the US it is pretty standard to ask you about areas that need attention, areas to stay away from, any health issues, etc. There is usually a gathering of your information. Well, I guess that based on my experience I should be happy that they didn't do any of that because at least they don't have my information. In my opinion, a huge bait and switch. At the very least, if you know that your website is outdated, have a large sign listing your current prices clearly when a customer walks in. I never went to the desk when I arrived so there was no way to see their price sheet, and if I did, I wouldn't have gotten the service that I did (and apparently I didn't get it anyway!). My wife and I went here for our birthday and received a couples massage. Don't believe the 5 star reviews. If there is a way to leave a zero star I would. My girl was rough and careless. I was repeatedly exposed and It has been 5 days and my lower back still hurts from the horrible massage. The rooms were not private and none of the walls went to the ceiling. So over the past weekend we decided to go for a nice drive to the dessert. Stopped on over to check out Lingfinity since so many people have been saying this place was really good. I have never heard of Rancho Mirage before but it is pretty much near Palm Springs area. I've been to Palm Springs a few years back and thought of this area as a pretty nice set up. It kind of reminds me of a mini Vegas. We made a call to book this appointment and decided to just head on in. Parking was plenty and the inside of this place is air conditioned so you don't have to worry about it being as hot as it was outside! Tip call to schedule and appointment and do it in advance so it won't be filled up before you go. Got an hour couples massage together in the same room so they do offer that and if you are alone they have separate single rooms in this place. The massage itself felt great and to me I can't believe how fast it went but it was an hour for sure! I liked how they put enough pressure on your back and to really take out all the knots in the places that I had them. For me my shoulders and upper body are always a little bit more stiff than other parts of my body. The massage therapist will also ask you if they are putting to much pressure and if it hurts, if it does just let them know, that you want a lighter type of pressure. This is of course your massage so speak up and they will listen. I did feel like during that one hour I was in pure bliss and happiness. Trust the reviews. I booked a last minute appt on a Tuesday afternoon and was able to have a deep tissue 1 hour massage for $60. Not only was the place clean, it was so relaxing and I don't know if it's their sound system or what, but the birds and the gongs in the songs sounded too real. I felt like I was literally having this deep tissue massage in some Chinese bamboo garden. The place is so cute too. Once you walk in, you already feel relaxed. Don't you just love that? Well then book your appt and see for yourself. I grew up in the Rowland Heights area where every other block is a reflexology spot. This place is comparable but might even be better. They don't just use warm hot stones. These stones are actually HOT and the towels they use to wipe you down after aren't rough rags, they're soft to your skin so you don't feel stripped and abused. My little lady did the thing where she applies pressure while standing on the massage table. She didn't walk on my back or anything but the pressure was just right. I even enjoyed the hair scalp massage. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely book another appt. read more

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST MASSAGE IVE EVER HAD! My husband and I went in for a last minute couples massage while in the area for the day. First I would like to mention my husband said his was great. I think what May be happening here with all these wonderful reviews is, they must just have one lady who is a terrible massage therapist (if you could even call her that...) The first 10-15 min are done over the towel. Cool, nothing new here, gotta warm up the body. BUT THEN... the most minuscule amount of oil was applied to my back ONLY. There was no rhyme, reason or rhythm to anything this lady was doing. It was all friction the whole time. Nothing even resembling relaxing. Half way through I almost wanted to stop and jump off the table. THE WORSTED PART, before she had me turn over, she wiped me down with a DRY paper towel. I'm sorry, WHAT?! There is NO way this place has had this many 5 star, happy customers. Just had an atrocious experience with my husband for a couples massage. The whole place smells like smoke and is musty. Does NOT smell like a spa. No one in the building speak enough English to answer simple questions so when we asked questions we were simply ignored. The first ten minutes of the massage was over a towel. The bedside manner was rough and rude and my "private" areas were exposed numerous times as the towels/sheets were tugged and roughly adjusted. After the message they left the door open when we were supposed to be getting dressed. They tried to overcharge us and when ringing us up I saw the higher cost on the screen and objected. The gal looked me right in the eye and hit enter, sending the transaction through. When she gave me the receipt to sign I said I would not because she overcharged me. She and the other gal could not explain to me why it was more. They had to call someone else who also spoke very broken English to explain it to us and what they had done was charge us a tip! We insisted on getting our money back and they ended up giving us cash from their pocket to make it square. When we tried to leave they literally stood on the way and demanded a tip! I called the morning of and was able to book 4 Swedish massages for the afternoon for my family. They were kind, clean, professional, and we left feeling very relaxed. The price was great too. My husband and I are from out of town so we decided to come to Palm Springs area for a mini getaway. Lingfinity was beautifully set up with asian (I think Chinese) art and decor. We got lost only because our navigation was not working but they were willing to accommodate us earlier for a massage. My husband and I got a deep tissue massage with hot stones. We got to select our essential oil (citrus bliss and lime) which was incorporated in our massage oil. They had really nice and soothing meditation music. I fell asleep a few minutes I think because I snorted lol. I am not sure of the girl's name (petite lady) that did my massage but she was great! My husband had a male massuese who was also great according to him. They continually asked us about pressure adjustment and let us know what they were doing next. I have never experienced this before and found it to be very frustrating, disruptive and unprofessional. She did give me some extra time at the end to try to make up for it, but I strongly feel that when a massage therapist is in session with a client, they should allow phone calls to go to voicemail. Additionally, when she did not answer the phone, it was still in the room with us buzzing incessantly. Highly Recommend!... I'm an active 40 year old who weight lifts intensely 5-6 days a week.
