Although my original massage experience was disappointing, I was very impressed by how seriously they took the feedback and how professionally they handled the situation. My sister enjoyed her massage, but unfortunately mine was underwhelming. I booked a deep tissue massage because I was dealing with neck and shoulder pain, along with numbness and tingling down my arms when I wake up in the morning. I explained that I had a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders and was hoping for focused deep tissue work. The massage I received did not feel like deep tissue. Most of it was done with elbow and forearm pressure rather than the kind of targeted deep tissue work I was expecting. There was also hot stone used, which was relaxing, but it was not what I had booked or what I needed that day. My massage therapist seemed to have some difficulty understanding me, so it is possible there was a communication issue. Either way, I left disappointed. The pricing was reasonable at $90 for 90 minutes, and I still tipped both therapists $20 each, but based on my experience, I would not return or recommend it for someone looking for a true deep tissue massage. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. If I could give this place zero stars I would. 1. Wife went there and they placed her in a room which looked like a break room/storage room with a fridge in it. 2. They do not start their massages on time and end their massages early so you do not get the full time you pay for. 3. They leave the room periodically to help ring up other customers or bring in customers during YOUR actual massage. 4. They do not close the door when you are changing, there is just a cheap drape that does not even reach down to the full length of the doorway. 5. Because the walls do not reach all the way to the ceiling you can hear other patrons during their massage - there were some very interesting noises. Taking all that aside generally the massage was a deep tissue massage which is what my wife and mother in law enjoy and because the price point is very reasonable, my wife and MIL went more than once. Unfortunately, despite the very negative experiences listed above, the masseuse had the audacity to ask for MORE of a tip because "she works hard" and she needs "to be paid more". She would not let my wife leave until she gave more tip. read more

The ladies here work incredibly hard and the late hours (open until 9 PM!) make it so easy to fit into a busy schedule. There was no misunderstanding from one of your masseuse asking for more tip. It wasn't a language barrier issue. Also FYI, it's a bit creepy that you're looking at security footage to try to track us down. I don't know what your intentions are. Customers can post reviews at anytime, not just the week they go to the place of business. Review: I went with my friend. I had a great massage but she had a terrible massage. She would ask the masseuse to increase pressure which she would do for a minute then revert back to low pressure (my friend says it was like just regular touching). Her masseuse would also massage one side of the body (i.e. the hand) but not the other. We think she was listening to her air pods and not paying attention. They never introduced themselves so I can't post any names. My friend's masseuse was the lady answering the phones. One major issue and why we're giving it 1 star is that they have questionable etiquette. My friend paid for us and she tipped $15 for each masseuse. Her masseuse (also the lady answering the phone) said something along the lines of "make it $20, we work so hard." That really irritated my friend especially since she had a bad massage. To top it off, they charged her the tip to the total instead of letting her fill in the tip part herself. I read in prior reviews that someone had a similar experience. It's kind of a mixed review. The massage was great but my therapist told me I should do cupping to help with the knots in my shoulder blade. She ended up leaving them on too long and it caused bleeding in several spots. They did what they could to make them feel fine and apologized for it. When I first set foot in Zen Spa, the person working the desk was lying on the couch, which was a big turn off. A man was replacing a broken window, so there was a lot of noise, throughout the massage. The massage itself was weird. Lots of rubbing my butt! Stretching my legs into uncomfortable positions partway through was unexpected. Then the masseuse left, and returned with a hot towel, which she threw down on my back, which I was not expecting. It was just all so strange, more like the reflexology places around here, where you keep your clothes on and are in a room full of people. One step up from that, but not worth it to me. read more
