First time ordering takeout at Ling's Kitchen and am happy with the orders. Food seasoning and portion size is good. The orange chicken was really tasty. The wait time was pretty decent considering they had so many people coming in placing and picking up orders. They do have lunch specials so we will come next time to try other dishes. The staff is very friendly. He gave me some recommendations based because I wanted some spicy dishes. When I came home, I was surprised that there was a bag of some fried crackers and duck sauce. lings has been around since i was a child in fords in the early 2000s. i used to come here after school and grab a can of soda and a pork egg roll before heading home from the bus stop. they used to be my spot. im not 100% sure if management has changed, but i do notice a change in the food. i really dont like to put bad things out there especially about my favorite places but the quality seems to have gone down? my beloved egg roll seems to always be dry and overcooked now, and i cant stand the beef and broccoli anymore. but when i do come here, i get the shrimp, pepper and onion. Used to be delicious never had a problem ,Decided to order today 3/18/23 it was the worst we order plain lo mein they didn't even put oil or soy sauce horrible all starchy sticking together , the General tso's chicken was so light not hot ,used to be crispy, dark and spicy. Placed a order for pick up over the phone that in itself was a challenge! The woman taking the order was very hard to understand . Picked up my order looked at the receipt and it was what I ordered! But when I got it home the combo dinners I ordered where wrong! I ordered 1 sweet n sour chicken and 1 sweet n sour shrimp..simple right? Second time I ordered from Lings years ago it was the best around! I ordered chick egg foo young. Terrible. Small pieces of tough chicken, almost like shreds. Yesterday got crab Rangoon that tasted somewhat sour. I did eat a few and was sick throughout the night It's obvious they order cheaper food from supplier. The shrimp w mixed veggies was tasty but came with only 4 shrimp - I'd pay a little more for more pieces and that's why only 4 stars. Pork fried rice was chock full of pork & goodness, and the BBQ spare ribs were meaty & delicious. I have experienced horrible customer service at this location on 6/6/18 and 5/31. The gentleman was very rude after I received my order incorrect for the second time. I asked for the manager and he was very NASTY and pretty much said get out. Really disappointing. The general tsaos had really nice looking chicken pieces, but not the crunch I like. We went with the fried dumplings, not the steamed, and again they were packaged in a white box so they basically steamed themselves. No crunch/fry on them at all by the time we ate. The dipping sauce was still good though. My wife got chicken chow fun and said it was flavorless- she ended up pouring the extra dumpling sauce into her dish. The ribs were dry. The ONLY thing good about this place is the fast delivery and for having a convinient website to order from, which most Chinese take-out places do not tend to have. I always hated not being able to find a proper menu to order from when I don't have one at home and there's none online. But they have a very clean cut website that you can even order online from. My coworker ordered Chicken and Mushroom and hers was literally drenched in soy sauce. IF anyone were to tell you this is good Chinese food PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE THEM...The place is FAR from anything Chinese related at all. Ling's is fantastic quality Chinese take-out/delivery. Favorites include Buddha's Delight with tofu, veggie lo mien, and garlic eggplant. For appetizers, you can't go wrong with the steamed veggie dumplings -- they season the accompanying soy sauce with scallions and sesame seeds. The egg drop soup is comfort food at its best. The woman behind the counter (I just call her Auntie) is sweet and remembers you personally. Once you become a regular, she'll make recommendations based on your tastes. Ling's has great Chinese food. It is primarily set up for take out and delivery (although there are a few small tables in front of the counter). The service is very friendly and they give a free can of soda with each entree. My favorite dishes are General Tso's Tofu and the Cold Sesame Noodles. The only reason this place rates 4 stars is because restaurant seating is not available, which would elevate it to 5 stars for me. read more

Chow mein chicken is good, egg rolls are too fried and not enough stuffing and the hot and sour soup is good except for the stale noodles/crackers they give you.
