This review is based on my recent visit. Me and a friend were scheduled for a laser appointment last Saturday, which i scheduled with the dr herself via text about 2 weeks before. I got there on time (like usual as it was my 3rd visit) but was very surprised to be told she didnt have any laser appointment booked for that day as they were doing family practice clinic. I showed the receptionist the text confirmation from dr. Linhkue and thats when the dr came out saying she didnt schedule me for that day. I showed her the text msg and thats when she said, she put me in and was expecting me for saturday (june 18), last week?! There obviously was an error on her part, but instead of being apologetic, she rather appeared and spoke in a VERY irritated way as I was clarifying with her what happened with my june 25 appt... A simple sorry could've done it for us, too. There's nothing we can do anyway, but instead we as paying customers felt like its our fault for not coming in last week, and for coming in at our scheduled appointment and cause her practice to be a bit delayed. Just very unprofessional IMO. Wont be coming back... ill just take my business and recommendation elsewhere... read more

I made a n appointment more than a month ago & change my provider to Dr. Linhkieu Nguyen as she was my previous primary care Dr. & had gotten a different insurance provider as well. & I get a called back thinking it was a confirmation appointment for tomorrow & they called me to let me know they no longer take my insurance long story short it took them month an half to let me know a day before my appointment I'm very disappointed & I asked since when did they dropped my insurance company & was told over a year ago so they couldn't tell me the day I made my appointment I could have seen a doctor sooner as I had some concerns & I was going to address them on my appointment., very disappointed with person that answered the phone & I told her my insurance & she made my appointment lost time when I could have been told right when I made my appointment they NO LONGER take my insurance!!!! I was sick of shaving my underarms so I switched to waxing for a few years but letting it grow long enough to wax was annoying. Dr. Nguyen is a kind and caring doctor once you finally get to see her. Don't get unexpectedly sick, though, because her office will tell you appointments are at least several weeks out so you should go to the ER if you need antibiotics. I am currently transitioning genders, and I reached out to Dr. Nguyen because I wanted to begin doing laser hair removal on my beard as I tried electrolyses already and that didn't work. Dr. Nguyen texted me telling me that although it was a painful procedure that I could pick up a numbing cream from her which I did. The day of the laser treatment I applied the cream as prescribed and I started panicking! When I got to the location Dr. Nguyen assured me that everything would be perfectly fine and that if at any time it was painful she would stop quickly. She even put the air that the laser shoots at its coldest setting to make me feel more comfortable. I felt no paint at all with the numbing cream! it just felt like a little pressure being applied but besides that it was a really great experience. Its been 1 week since my laser hair removal and I've noticed a dramatic change in my facial hair, its thinner, growing slowly and very sparingly. Dr. Nguyen has been my doctor for almost 3 years now. She is also my childrens doctor. I have never had a bad experience at her office. She is very knowledgeable, as well as all of her staff. She is always only a phone call away after hours, and during business hours it's as simple as calling in, and you will get in and get seen. I love that she isn't all about medication. She has some amazing home remedies that really work. She is very caring, and not one of those Doctor's with their hand on the door. She made sure I got a referral for my hurt hand and told me if it wasn't taken care of to come back and she would make sure I could get a second opinion. I also have a hurt toe that I've been buddy taping. I went in a few weeks later because the swelling was bad. She made sure to get me a referral for that as well. She always is concerned and helpful. Great experience when it comes to Groupon for laser treatment and that's how I met Dr. Nguyen. She is not like other doctors where all they want is your money and not really your well being. Dr. Nguyen cares a lot about what she does and her patients and a great doctor. I decided to have her as a family doctor and tried taking my kids there for their check ups. Unfortunately the receptionist doesn't know what she is doing. First she said our insurance covered everything, then i filled out bunch of paperwork, got my kids records forwarded, made appointment a month in advance, took half a day of from work, picked up my kids from school early and then when I arrived at the office, the same receptionist told me our insurance didnt cover their services.REALLY!!!! what a waste of time! I still recommend Dr. Nguyen but watch out the receptionist and make sure your appointments are confirmed and everything is taking care of before you show up there. read more

Went for annual checkup for preventive care with my wife in April 2014 (which supposed to be free for our insurance). I admit the doctor was very nice and knowledgeable. 2-3 weeks after, we started seeing a medical bill from the test lab SHARP memorial because of our blood samples and urine samples are being sent out to that lab. My wife has been trying to contact the billing dept at Sharp due to the medical code which was entered incorrectly. Long story short, my wife has been calling the doctor, sharp billing dept due to this medical billing errors for 5 months and finally they shipped it over to debt collection agency. I do not know who entered the wrong medical billing code, but i do know that we have been trying to talk to the doctor, the medical records, and the billing the department at SHARP to resolve this issue. Now this matter has been shipped over to debt collection agency and could affect my wife and i credit score. We do not mind to pay the amount of stuff we owe but it should be charged to our insurance because that is why we got health insurance in the first place.So for the conclusion, I will stay away from anybody who affiliate with Sharp healthcare and its hospital unless you want to go to the same hell we've been through dealing with the jerks from the debt collection agencies, and ignorant people from sharp billing, and medical records.
