I was spending the night locally and decided to give this place a try. I liked the kick in the Hot & Sour Soup. And adding Crispy Noodles to the broth only made it better! The Beef with Snow Peas was outstanding! The snow peas had just the right crunch. I like eating my Egg Roll after the meal. Again, put together well with lots of great flavors. Not a very good experience on my first visit to Pokomoke City. Interested in takeout only, I came into the restaurant instead of ordering by phone. The young lady that took my order was one of the nastiest most unprofessional person that I've interacted with in a while. No need to go into that, when I'm here to review the food. I ordered spring rolls and sautéed vegetables with rice. The rolls were a mushy mess inside, and crispy on the outside. Where were the textures? No idea if they were actually vegetables. The sautéed vegetables were covered with a brown gravy that separated into a pool of oil and the substance that gave the gravy it's brown color. No need to guess whether I will return. read more

So happy to have found this hidden gem. The service is good and we were seated quickly. The menu is so extensive that it's hard to choose! .... Sushi, Shashami, Thai, full Chinese menu... you name it! We started with the seafood soup for 2 from the "Chinese Cuisine" page. It was wonderful...very generous portion, thick, and chocked full of tasty ingredients. Then we shared Specialty Rolls...the Maryland Roll and the Valentines Roll. Both were unique and so delicious! The food was probably the best Chinese I ever had. The sushi was awesome. The service was great. The Pad Thai did not even taste like Pad Thai. I honestly believe that the chef spilled the fish sauce into our dish. We could not even eat it. I ordered first thing when they opened figured everything would be fresh.I had to pay for order by card and you were offered to add a tip if you wanted anywhere from 10% up so I left it blank because I was going to give a cash tip when I picked up my order but when I looked at my receipt they had added in a tip on their own. I asked girl behind counter why they added in a tip that I didn't authorize and she said you had to of done because we can't do that from here and then she went and got owner who came out and said his company automatically adds in a tip. No where was it stated gratuity automatically added to carry out orders. The food was horrible my rice was crunchy,crab Rangoon was as tough as leather normally nice and crispy. I ordered Mongolian Beef and Miso soup, and I'm assuming both of them were reheated in their containers because they both tasted like really strong burnt plastic. I'm really annoyed because it's a 20 minute drive from Greenbackville, so to go home to no edible food was such a disappointment and a waste of money. Negatives: Quite possibly the oddest tasting miso soup I have ever had. The "Hibachi" steak was expensive and chopped into cubes..... a first and over cooked. The salad had huge leaves of iceberg and excessive dressing. One giant leaf should have been culled as a non green leaf and not edible as it had part of the stem attached. The hot tea was...cold. Waitress brought 2 cups and forgot I was here. I think delivering the entree was the end of her effort. ------------------------------- Positives: Clean Fried rice was terrific. Perfectly cooked and savory. The shining light of the meal. Waitress while not very good at servicing the dinner was polite and clean. Being from New Jersey we have a great selection of Chinese food and this place stands up to any of them. Highly recommend this place! The parking lot makes it look deserted. However, my family of 5 and I noticed quickly that it was because of the superior service. We were greeted as soon as we entered and seated immediately. Drink orders were taken promptly and our food ordered followed as she delivered our drinks. Our food was served quickly, less than ten minutes, and hot. We had shrimp fried rice, sesame chicken, shrimp dumplings, and chicken and garlic. Every plate was cleaned as the food was delicious. That speaks volumes with young children. Bathrooms were clean. Many of the guests who walked in with us, were gone or walked out with us when we left as they received the same excellent service! Nowhere in Pocomoke (or the surrounding area) compares to Lin's. In fact, if Lin's opened a restaurant in Los Angeles, my hometown, I would recommend it to everyone I know. Their miso soup is okay at times. I didn't always find the consistency. But their sushi has always been fresh! Never been disappointed with their fish! I always get it to go. Their service is fast at any time you go (lunch or dinner). The employees are always friendly and polite. I have no complaints and they never messed my order up. Overview: I love good sushi. I have dined at Morimoto's on numerous occasions and I like to think that I know good sushi. Lin's has REALLY good sushi. Although I live in Baltimore, I have family living in the area and I make it a point to stop by Lin's any time I come to visit Pocomoke. Appetizer: My husband and I have tried the veggie tempura and shrimp tempura. Both are delicious. The veggies retain a great crunch and the batter on the outside forms a perfectly flaky crust. Sushi: I ALWAYS get the Hole in One. Not sure how the roll got its name, but the flavor is as impressive as Tiger Wood's golf game back when he was in his prime. It is a specialty roll consisting of tender white fish and tuna on the inside, with thin slices of avocado wrapped around the outside of the sushi rice and a tasty miso sauce drizzled on top. Entree: Try any of the hibachi. The meat is flavorful, cooked to perfection and it sits atop some of the best fried rice I have ever tried. Their portion size is incredibly generous. Bottom Line: Lin's is an incredible sushi restaurant, worthy of being in any major metropolitan city, that is stymied by its location.
