At the front check-in is a sign telling customers not to waste food. The waste problem could be solved quite simply, making the food good enough that customers wouldn't want to waste it. A small percentage of the fare was quite good. The majority was mediocre. Service was not good. You pick up your own cutlery. Okay, but make sure it's available. Location okay, good customer service, but food are super salty and dark color, probably put a lot of soy sauce when cooking.

Not sure what's so grand about Lin's GRAND Chinese buffet but we went in the Casa Grande, AZ location for lunch today and bit into a piece of border-line raw fried shrimp. My fiance took a bite of her sesame chicken shortly after and it wasn't all the way cooked either. We let our server know, she took it back to the kitchen where the cook admitted that it wasn't cooked all the way. We were both starving but couldn't bring ourselves to get another plate so we let the server know. We literally took a total of 3 bites of our food and drank half a coke before just staring at our plates. We showed the server the time on our receipt and we were there for a total of 17 mins. We aren't ones to complain much, ask for hand-outs, we weren't rude about anything, didn't make a scene....they refused to make it right and we ended up leaving hungry. Very bad business in my opinion and we won't be back, unfortunately. read more

My boyfriend and I have been very ill since we ate here yesterday. I was better by bed time but he became ill almost immediately after we left. 24 hours later, he is still sick. When we called Lins they didn't seem to be too concerned. When asked to give our money back they became rude and more than an hour later the manager still had not called us back. We have now filled a complaint with the county as well. read more

First time at Lin's. It was great. Food was all hot and fresh. It was in the afternoon when we went and things were still being watched. A lot of times in the afternoon buffets get a little cool or stale, but they kept it hot. We'll definitely be back. read more

Don't do it.. it is bad very bad. I tried most food and it was all .. not good. Tasted old and weird.. the sushi rolls were definitely old.. sesame chicken, orange chicken, chicken and broccoli, all tasted the same and not good. Tasted similar to frozen Chinese food heated up in the microwave. The dessert was even tasteless. Although they do have a self serve soft serve ice cream and that was good. We were visiting from out of town & although I'm typically not a fan of buffets, this place came highly recommended by locals & other friends who have eaten here quite recently & loved it. I was very pleasantly surprised & found that the food was absolutely delicious at this Casa Grande location. So many American/Chinese dishes, fresh salad/fruit section & a dessert area to choose from. (There was also a sushi section & Mongolian grill, however I had so many other things to choose from, I didn't try those sections, but it definitely looked fresh & tasty. Next time!!) We had a medium size party of 7 and our hostess kept our beverages filled & continually cleared any used dishes so we could return with more selections to enjoy. We went about 3:30 in the afternoon, before the rush. By the time we left though, they got quite busy but not where people were tripping over each other to get to the food selections. Everything was freshly cooked & food temperature was perfect. Didn't seem to be any food selections sitting around in heating trays getting overcooked or dried out --- at least not from the choices we made. There was something there for everyone's tastes I believe. So very good!!! Yum!!! The restaurant was also kept very clean. And to top it off, the price was very reasonable. What it lacks in selection it makes up in quality. It doesn't have the usual rows and rows of food, but instead has it all lined against the outer rim of the kitchen. But absolutely everything is good and has great flavor. Also the service is fantastic, any time my drink got low I already had another on the table. Any dirty dishes were removed immediately. It's an absolutely amazing buffet, one might say a GRAND BUFFET! It's reasonably priced and I love that you pay up front so you just leave when you're finished. read more

We ate there around 2:00 on Christmas Day and the food was hot and really tasty. Usually buffet food is luke warm at best. The service staff were really awesome! Will definitely eat there next time I'm in Casa Grande, AZ. read more

We initially did not go as some reviews stated that tips were paid up front. This is not quite true! You are given a choice to pay at the front desk while paying for your meal, and you are also given the choice to tip at the table when you are done. With that said, we were impressed with the staff and the meal. On weekends it is one set price and on weekdays the price is lower before a set time ( not sure, it is either 3PM or 3:30PM) .
