I usually go to Lin's in Phoenix near I-17/Dunlap and am always satisfied. While in Yuma today decided to visit Lin's even though some reviews were poor. I didn't see any of the complaints I read about. Restaurant appeared clean, staff friendly and attentive. Food was what I expected. The selection was not as large as Phoenix but that's likely due to the smaller population in the Yuma area. I would visit again if I am in Yuma and hungry. read more

I cannot fathom how a restaurant is still running with the condition this location is in. My family and I visited this location on 8/29/2026. We have my husband, our 3 children, and myself. Upon entering, the hostess was mediocre, at best. Unfriendly and unenthusiastic. We were seated and immediately noticed the dining chairs were ripped, falling apart, and that should've been the first sign that we should've left. I actually took the time to take a good chair from another empty table to replace the damaged one at the table we were sat at. We go to get our food and the food is not matching labels, trays are empty, a handful of available trays were missing labels entirely or renamed with masking tape and marker. Walking around, I began to notice red duct tape all over the floor. I thought, at first, it must be for a line of some sort for the barbecue...it was not. It was to "fix" damaged flooring. My husband goes to get steak from the barbecue and the flavor, quality, and look of it was terrible...consistent with the rest of the food we had tried to eat from the buffet. Lastly, the bathrooms. My husband went to take our 4 year old autistic son to the men's restroom. It was hot, the floors were sticky, bathroom was absolutely filthy and quite easily the most disgusting bathrooms I have ever been in. In the women's restroom, the floors were sticky, trash cans were full, seat protectors were unavailable and the holders were broken, toilets were clogged up or filled with urine, the sink area was putrid and only one soap dispenser was available to be used as the other one was broken. This bathroom, too, was unbelievably hot in temperature -- just like the men's. We have heard good things about this location and we left there feeling like we were in a fever dream. Whenever I go to Yuma to visit. I have to take the family for Lin's grand buffet. The teppanaki grill is incredible that alone is worth the visit. Always fantastically good . Second round. Chinese favorites egg rolls, rice gung po chicken. Beef broccoli. So good. Third round dessert. Cake cookies brownies and soft serve ice cream. . The trays are always full. And fresh. We went around 6, got seated pretty quick. Went for salad first, iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, olives pickles and beets. Dressings weren't marked so toon a gamble and was good with Ranch, my husband however got what he thought was honey mustard and it ended up being something (wasabi maybe) so hot he couldn't eat anything else after that. The salad area needs to have labels! Lot of things were mismarked. All my food was good, sweet n sour chicken, gen tso's, Jalapeño chicken, broccoli, veg spring rolls Floor was strewn with food and there was definitely a lack of help on the floor with serve staff. Very yummyyyy good selection for some asian food they have a sushi bar, Mongolian grill, and steak station! For 2 ppl at 6pm was 46 dollars not including tip for the waiter. The grill stations were a bit slow due to staff not attending the area. Food at buffet was constantly restocked and had a nice selection of items for everyone. I don't even know where to start with how fantastic this place was. The food selection, incredible, large and delicious. There was a regular rotation of items coming in and a dedicated employee keeping the bars clean and neat. The wait staff was very friendly, and even though the refills were slow, I have to say they were attentive. It feels a little chaotic with the amount of people sitting in there, but the location is quite large and clean. I did not anticipate on eating at a buffet while on a trip, but Lin's made me want to return to Yuma. My only negative stab is the soft serve ice cream machine was giving me trouble. 11:15 am lunch was just under 13.00 and from what I had and saw this visit was worth every cent! Fried shrimp were perfectly moist but still crispy! Sushi was tasty! Only one variety had raw fish inside and it was good. Ribs... the glazed ones were icky and had a flavor reminiscent of Hawaiian Punch. A bone sliver was annoying. Larger ribs done with a dry rub were so very good! That alone made me a happy camper. Hot and sour soup had Lots of rough cut goodies you would expect to see. I had high hopes when I walked in the buffet because it seemed fancy but when you look closely at everything they're all sticky and wet. The bathrooms had a creepy vibe with broken doors and empty toilet seat covers. Dont even get me started on the food. Everything was bland and cold. The buffalo wings taste like refried chicken meat, the beef dishes didnt taste like beef at all, and the cajun seafood boil didnt taste right with the crawfish and shrimps UNCLEANED from the inside, swear I gagged when I saw the yellow and the guts. They took long to give us our drinks and scoffed everytime they picked up unfinished plates, sorry they didnt taste edible. I hate Panda Express but I wish we got that instead. We'd come here before, before the "dark times" (ie The Pandemic) so things might have changed because of it, but previously it had been a nice experience worth the price of admission. Now it feels a step or two down from where it once was. Some of the pros: the food was hot! I say this because on one previous encounter the food was a little past lukewarm and that night did not end well. But this time the food was hot and the staff were on it as far as bringing out the new servings. I didn't try the made-to-order grill or the sushi but heard it was good. There was ample parking as well with generally easy access in and out though located near a busy intersection. The cons included the price. I just wasn't feeling it equaled the overall dining experience. We were seated at a wobbly table near an exit and the bathrooms; maybe my fault because I didn't ask for another table location. The male bathroom needed a cleanup and had graffiti while I heard the female bathroom was far off from it. Overhead music was sporadic and the dining vibe felt less than...normal? It just felt like we could had the same experience somewhere else less expensive. One one who recommended here in our group felt sad we came but I exclaimed sometimes choices are hit and miss, no worries. I may choose elsewhere next time to dine though. read more

Here to rate our server Hector. This man is on top of it! He has one speed and it's FAST. Nonstop. Pops out of nowhere and takes your dirty plate. You blink and he already brought you a drink refill. Although the food is good, Hector is what keeps me coming back. His customer service is nothing less than Outstanding. Very rare to feel that you are being taken care of at buffet, but Hector manages to do so on Expert Level. If only the ladies on the left side of dining room took notes from him. I went one day that was Hector's day off and ended up drinking my melted coke flavored ice because no one came to check on us. If you are lucky to have Hector as your server, (trust me you'll know who he is after reading this) make sure to take care of him just good as he did you. Ok, buffet is what was expected. Luke warm typical buffet fare. However, being seated near the bathroom area, I had a full view of where someone had obviously vomited, a wet floor sign placed near it. People waking past, some gagging, some walking in & turning right around wlaking out. Went there Sunday, 8/30. It was packed, although wait for a seat was not bad, maybe 10 minutes. Food was um ok, flavor off. It was so packed it was hot in there. Had to wait 10 mins for water because no clean cups. There also ran out of clean plates and forks. Daughter found what appeared a half eaten egg roll in the buffet. On arriving Briana our hostess greeted us in a friendly polite manner and had us seated very quickly. This is a HUGE Chinese Buffet restaurant. They have many many options to choose from & the food is very good for a buffet. There is a small salad bar. A section that includes fruit along lots of dessert options. There are many warm Chinese dishes, and soups. They have a small section with some American food options. They have a few sushi pieces. There is a Mongolian Grill, which Is my favorite! There is an array of choices which include vegetables, seafood, beef , pork & chicken. You build the dish exactly to your taste, then hand the plate to the Grill master who then cooks your dish right in front of you on a large round grill. Jesus was my grill chef and he cooked my dish to perfection. The vegetables were nice and crispy, the seafood was tender and delicious with just the right amount of seasonings & spices The food bars are under constant attention from staff, wiping counters and filling empty food in the warming pans. Wow! This place use to be great. Even during the height of the scamdemic. This place is terrible now. I was shocked that there was such a line to get in at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon. Still thinking this place was great, I thought, well I guess that makes sense. We were actually seated quickly and headed to the buffet area. Most of the pans were empty or half full of what you could see as old food. We picked through that. Came back with our small plates ate and headed back thinking they'd replenish. Nope. Same thing. Tried for the Mongolian grill part, most of the food was picked over and one poor fella doing steaks and grill. The sushi had one roll on the line. And the ice cream maker wasn't working. The people going for the food were like wild wilder beasts who hadn't eaten in weeks as they pushed into each other to ravage for a scrape left in the buffet. This place was so good! I'm from San Diego and this spot is better than any Chinese buffet I've had in San Diego. Fresh food, lots of options for each protein, chicken, shrimp and beef. The service was awesome and quick. Place was nicely decorated and looked clean. Only thing was the bathrooms, two stall doors wouldn't close and the hand dryers didn't work.
