The food is good enough, but they couldn't keep up on memorial day. They offer gloves to keep from spreading germs while getting food at the buffet. They have the post covid buffet figured out. BUT. their bathrooms are disgusting, piled high with paper (ok, that could be just over whelmed.) But the sides of the stalls are gross, dust between the divider cracks says not been touched in years, smears all over the dividers. The floor, gross. The dining room carpet GROSS. Chinese Food in the desert?!? When you are tired of eating Panda Express and want more variety you stop here and chow down. A little pricey, but pretty much on par with most Chinese buffets. Restaurant: The restaurant itself is quite large. There is ample seating, ample parking and lots to choose from. Inside was clean and well maintained, not something that always happens with high traffic restaurants such as buffets. Our server was very attentive and was refilling our drinks quite often. The plates were clean, another thing that is not always true about buffets, as was the silver ware. Food: There is so many food options here that it was kind of hard to choose. Not only was there Chinese food, but they had sushi, Mongolian BBQ, a steak station, Mexican food and even a salad bar. Some dishes that I liked were the beef and broccoli, fried shrimp, shrimp chicken and zucchini, and the sweet and sour chicken. The food was definitely above average, not nothing was amazingly good. Did arrive later in the evening, but not impressed with anything or anyone! Front hostess was apparently covering for everyone. As she took money made people wait then stopped taking money making us wait while she seated everyone she had waiting. Of course also meant waiting while their drinks were gotten. Well, we managed to find it. Chinese food in Yuma, AZ. I could hardly believe it. Of course, I was the only Chinese person in the building who didn't actually work here. The place is actually pretty big and seats a ton of people. Not only do they have Chinese food, they also have sushi, enchiladas, and made-to-order mongolian. And if you feel like having something more macho, there is a freshly-grilled steak station. Usually when you find an ethnic restaurant in an area where the communoty of that specific ethnicity isn't big, you'll get variations like this that play to the community it serves. The dessert section isn't impressive, as with most Chinese buffets. There is banana pudding, chocolate pudding, cream puffs, various square cakes, store-bought pastries, and a soft-serve machine. One thing to realize about Chinese food is that there isn't a ton of emphasis on dessert (with the exception of dim sum, which I don't know exists in Yuma). The bottom line is that if you're a dessert enthusiast, you won't find much here. Currently, the rate for one adult buffet is $12.99, which is paid in the beginning before being seated. The service was fine. They're hard-working, courteous, and helpful. Here are my feelings about this place. There were a bunch of good items, like the ribs, dumplings, and shrimp. However, there were not-so-good items like banana pudding. I don't normally rush to these kinds of places, but I find things to appreciate when I do eat here. It wouldn't be fair to compare this place with those of other cities (or even states) because they're not in competition with each other. So, for the sake of Yuma, this restaurant is a good choice. Not everything is good here, but what IS good is very good, if that makes any sense. But take it from me. If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, you'll have to leave Yuma. The only desert that had any flavor were the grocery store bunt cakes. I tried what looked like a brownie with frosting on it and it tasted like card board. Lin's use to be one of our favorite places to eat but since October of this year it has really went down hill. I would think with the pandemic they would try harder to keep customers, but we have been there two more times since and if anything they have gotten worse. The last time was January 14 and we won't be back. The food was just so so, and the service was about the same. And if you go, I would not recommend using their restrooms, I've been in some nasty gas station restrooms that make there's look bad. Eat there at your own risk. This restaurant just opened a week ago amidst great anticipation. It is part of a national chain of Chinese buffet restaurants and the building is very large and attractive. We met another couple for lunch on a Tuesday at about 1:30. Even at that late into the lunch hour the place was packed. We had trouble finding a place to park. Luckily, the other couple had gotten there a little early and had already put their name in, so we only had to wait another fifteen minutes before we got seated. We had seen that there were already two reviews of the restaurant on the TripAdvisor website, and both of them were positive. On the up side, the place is very big, and very pretty inside with lots of seating. There are four long, two sided buffet tables for most of the food, plus another counter in the back with a sushi bar, cook to order Mongolian beef, and a steak bar, presumably for the evening crowd. There were all the usual choices of Chinese, along with quite a bit of American cuisine. The service, which, because it is a buffet is basically drinks and whatever extras you might want, was spotty at best. I wrote that off to new staff and the first couple weeks of business. I don't think they have all the staffing profiles worked out yet, and may not have been expecting the huge crowds they have been seeing. The other three people in our party thought the food was excellent. I found almost all the selections to be bland, with little flavor and mushy texture. The beef in the pepper beef dish was almost slimy, pretty ugly stuff. The egg drop soup was good and some of the non-Chinese stuff I had, like the shrimp, was pretty tasty. This place is part of a chain and I expected better but was very disappointed. One little key for me was to find that they didn't provide any hot mustard except for the mild, tasteless crap that comes in the little plastic pouches. To me that is a sign that they don't really value quality over quantity. Get the people in, get them out, collect the bucks. I braved the crowds and was completely impressed. Lin's buffet was extremely fresh, and there was a WIDE variety of items. The sushi bar, mongolian grille, and steak bar looked wonderful but I unfortunately didn't get a chance to try them. I was so sidetracked by the food on the main buffet that I will have to make another trip to try everything. Our drinks were always refilled by a wonderful waitress. On a side note - - I originally prepaid for 3 adult dinners and 3 drinks. One person did not show up, so when I asked our waitress if there was anything I could do she politely took my receipt and got me a full refund for that persons meal. No hassle at all! As I review Lin's, I am measuring it against the variety of (generally crappy) Asian buffets that I have come across in my lifetime. I'm usually not, but in this instance where my party was looking to load up on massive amounts of quality food on the cheap, Lin's absolutely delivered. One thing you'll notice about Lin's is that it's pretty darn immaculate for a buffet. I love the very open look of the building, and the buffet rows, stations, etc. are very neatly ordered and well-maintained. As with any massive buffet, some items are of course better than others. The General Tso's was up there among the better ones I've had. The two stations that impressed me the most, though, were the sushi and Mongolian BBQ stops. I was pretty hesitant to even try sushi in Yuma, but I am glad I did: both the spicy tuna and the crunchy shrimp were items I would get an even a full-stop sushi joint. The Mongolian BBQ brought a freshness and liveliness of flavor that one is not apt to find in a sushi environment. I was pretty disappointed with the dessert offerings (having real ice cream, maybe just vanilla and green tea, would go a long way here), but I was so incredibly stuffed that it was probably for the best. read more

The table was still sticky from the last people and there was food on the chairs no one bothered to clean obvious food, The chairs are all sticky when you grab one to move it from all the people/kids not wiping their hands from sticky food, its kind of gross. This kind of makes you wonder what they are doing to the food. THere is plenty of food but they don't seem to care about the quality they are putting out anymore. I had read the reviews and was hesitant but decided to give this place a go. The restaurant itself is nice and inviting. The front staff wasn't friendly but weren't rude either (if that makes sense). Our server was attentive and made sure we always had drinks and our dirty plates were removed promptly. We paid a little over $40 for the 3 of us, which considering their selection doesn't seem bad. Unfortunately we found most of what we had to be lacking flavor, with the exception of one or two things. The kicker though, and the reason for 1 star, came at dessert time when we discovered mold in/on the jello. We alerted a server but she didn't seem too concerned. If it wasn't for this I could have given it more stars. But now I'm left wondering if I'll wake up with food poisoning tomorrow from something else I actually did eat. read more

Pretty good buffet quality food. And most importantly. STEAKS! Thus isn't the best buffet I've ever been to and it isn't even the best Chinese buffet I've been to, but hands down this does have the best decor for a Chinese buffet. And it here in Yuma, this is one of the best Chinese buffet places. There is little complaints that I have with this place because it delivers what outta supposed to and does not really try to top it. Even compared to other better Chinese buffets there isn't much to complain about this place. Everything is fresh and hot. All the food is good and does not seem to have been sitting there for too long. The worst parts of this buffet though is the ice cream and the sushi. The soft serve ice cream machine served very terrible ice cream. It was hard and very icy...not creamy like ice cream should be. Also the sushi choices were poor and were full of California like sushi... the plain sushi. However, the biggest plus at this buffet was the streak grill where they will take your streak order and grill it fresh. They also put on this incredible seasoning that is extremely flavorful. They also have a huge bottle of A-1 and even though I don't much like that sauce this is a plus for others. Overall, not the best. But relative to the area...
