I purchased a piano from Stilwell, based solely on the online description and video, and honestly,…read morejust PRAYED it wasn't a scam! It's not! They allowed me to make an offer; worked with me on my price range; and the delivery was pretty good too (they contract deliveries with other companies.) I don't dream of owning "things," typically, but it has been my long-time dream to own a grand piano, and Stilwell made that happen for us!

One word - exquisite…read more I've been playing my whole life and I'm an actively gigging musician. I grew up with a baby grand in my home and planned to purchase my own instrument when I grew up. That day finally came a few years ago at Stilwell Pianos. Acoustic pianos are incredibly complex analog instruments that are sensitive to changes in temperature, moisture, and numerous other factors. Because of this, it's impossible to pick a piano just by brand and model if you're specific about the action (touch) and intonation (sound). For experienced players, you have to play it to know if it's the one. I went to several stores in town. Most were staffed with pushy sales guys trying to land a Steinway sale using every trick in the book to create urgency and assume the sale. This bullshit doesn't fly with me and ruins the journey. I first visited Stilwell at their old location. Michael introduced himself, inquired what I was looking for, and let me explore on my own. No tactics, no pressure selling, etc. It took probably 4 trips over 6ish months before he had the right inventory for what I wanted. The buying process was straightforward from there and they used Max Piano Moving (best guys in town) for transport. Whether you're a seasoned professional or looking for your child's first piano, can't recommend these guys enough.

They have financing options and Jason the owner makes the process smooth. If you're looking to bring home a brand new piano or previously owned piano...there's a great selection waiting for a new home to make memories! Thank you Jason and the AZ Piano Team!

It felt like a true one-on-one consultative experience in which Jason spent plenty of time demoing different options for us to hear while also providing informative feedback on differences between the models. Further, as a beginner player, Jason also recommended a few good resources to help aid in acceleration of the learning curve via books and local teachers. We ultimately opted for the Kawai KDP120 and are very happy with the purchase in terms of the level of service we received and the sound quality of the piano. AZ Piano prices were also better than any advertised sales online so electing to purchase from AZ Piano felt like a win-win experience. Jason loaded the boxed piano right into the truck for us and setup was a simple process once we got it home. I will be back in the future for any upgrades and would recommend AZ Piano for anyone interested in upgrading their current piano or purchasing their first.

All are polished and ready to fill your hearts and home with beautiful music. I recently had the opportunity to speak and work with Drake Brown whose knowledge of pianos is exceptional. He shared with me that they have the largest collection of Steinways in the US. Not only do they offer brand new pianos but also pre-owned. I was moving out of state and needed to put my piano on consignment which I did with The Piano Store. Unbelievable experience. Drake was extremely easy to work with in assisting me with this pain free process. I can't say enough about this piano showroom and Drake Brown. If you're in the market for a new or pre owned piano go directly to The Piano Store. I guarantee you there is no other store that has the selection and additional services in all of Arizona!! Please ask to speak to Drake Brown and enjoy the experience.

Hands down the BEST experience I've ever had shopping for pianos. I was an avid player when I was…read moreyounger but lots of moves and just life in general kept me from playing much. As such, I'm no longer confident about my playing skills. Combined with my severe carpal tunnel, I just don't get to play much in general even more, even though I own a piano. But Bob, the manager on duty, was SO NICE! He wasn't pushy and was super accommodating. To me, while sound is important, the most important thing was making sure I could find a piano that was easier on my hands and fingers to make sure I could keep playing despite the ever-present hand and wrist pain I have. He helped me find the exact acoustic piano I needed for my lifestyle and budget and even taught me about things that had changed since the last time I went shopping for pianos years ago! I am confident that I'll be back to purchase the piano I found today. When asked upfront, I even clearly stated I wasn't going to purchase for a few months. And it didn't matter! He took the time to show me around the store and the pianos specifically that would help me keep playing and teach my son. Thanks, Bob and Southwest Pianos!!! You made my day! I'll never recommend anyone else!
