Needed a key for my XLR, went there and waited over an hour to get the key cut. Was busy and did not check to see if key worked and it did not when I tried later that day, came in couple days later and guy tried to help me, but it was Sat and he could not. After taking a closer look, I saw they key was not cut correctly, took it back and showed parts manager the issue and he told me that he could not verify if the lock was original, key was cut correctly and don't let the door hit you on the way out. Went to another dealership and after explaining everything, they pulled the key code for free and cut a new key (had to pay for key) and guess what, it worked perfectly. read more

As an ex-employee of this business, I can tell you they have very shady intentions in the service department. For a prime example as to why I had left the dealership, A new customer had some work done to his duramax by another technician in the shop including a rear brake job. 3 months after the repair the customer brings his truck in on the Saturday I was working because he had taken the truck out fishing and the caliper that the dealership just replaced in the rear had fallen off the axle causing damage to mostly all components on that driver rear wheel area, including the rim itself that the brake caliper gouged because the customer drove the truck in after the brake caliper fell off and was loose in the wheel. On that Saturday, I quoted out the customer all new brake parts for that wheel including a new rim because now there is a weak spot in the rim for this heavy duty 2500 duramax where the caliper gouged the rim. Come first thing next week, the new manager that has recently started takes the ticket away from me and gives it to the shop foreman for a second opinion because they want to be cheap and opt to not order this guy a new rim. Between the service manager David Mooney and the shop foreman, they decide the best option is to sand this already weak spot down on this rim and spray paint the rim without letting the customer know they are doing this shotty rim repair when the customer is fully entitled to a new rim because it was damaged solely due to the work done at this dealership in the past. The fact that this rim repair was not the right thing to do was brought up to management and they insisted that what they were doing was not shady. I'm only writing this to be a warning to other people and hopefully no one gets ripped off like how the service department tried to rip me off. I took my Duramax in for a recall (Court-Circuit Du Chauffe-Bloc) which is for an engine bloc heater cord. I was called to say it would be $489 to remove my rear shocks and put them back on, nothing wrong with my shocks btw, but in order to complete the recall. I have aftermarket shocks, but this doesn't void a recall or the work associated. I asked to see the recall bulletin or the recall procedure which was never provided. My shocks did NOT need repair in any way and I was to be charged for the labor of removing them to complete the recall. I called the manufacturer, and they confirmed my gut red flags and told me to go to another dealership. The Stuart Dealership is doing the recall work for free. Please anyone taking their recall here, be very very smart and don't get conned into paying anything for a recall. I spoke with them before posting this, and I'm only posting as a warning to anyone else. read more

We finally found a dealer that does things right and offers good value and proper client services. Just an incredible experience from sales, leadership, and business office. We took home a new vehicle yesterday and happy with the outcome, and three hours of drive time overall to get there and back. We emailed Walt on a deal and offered our best offer upfront. He agreed and had buyers order completed and signed off. We agreed to a time, arrived, and promptly greeted. We were given the keys to take the test drive of our choice. The Used Car Manager took our car for short jaunt and agreed on our requested value. No games and last minute markups. Dealer prep fee is much lower and not broken up into several fees, unlike the 1000 fees we now see locally. Business / finance was a great young man that offered the bells and whistles and was able to help add value on deal. The dealership is an older Cadillac / GMC / Buick dealer with service area and a couple buildings. They shuttle you if wanted but easy walking between them. All employees are very nice and jovial. The GM was truly like an old friend and gave time to swap some stories. Walt stood out from start and we can see why he had several other sales/deliveries this day. Truly wish we were in the area to revisit, even for service needs. Good people, friendly dealership, and fair deal. Clearly worth our drive. read more

I have a known issue with my Cadillac regarding the paint job that was done from the factory. During the last two years my wife and I moved twice and during this time my warranty ended. The issue clearly started before my warranty ended but we were comsumed with our moves. I spoke with Kent in their colision center who is a great person. Unfortunately he needed to raise this to his manager so I went in to meet with him. He was clearly bothered that I came in to discuss this with him. It's unfortunate because I just moved here 8 months ago but Linus lost a customer that has owned many Cadillac's. Purchased a 2019 Cadillac XTS in October 2020. Starting in December 2020, the vehicles safety features (back up camera) & electronics started exhibiting problems. I kept being told that "we can't replicate the issue". After sending too many emails, and recording videos of the ongoing issues, after installing 4 new radios - the problem is still not fixed, I am now being told that "the car cannot be fixed" while it is still under warranty. They are trying to blame the "older cars" on the newer Iphones. However, from 2019-2023, I was using an IPhone XR which is the same age as the vehicle. And, currently have not paired my Iphone with the vehicle, and all of the same problems keep occurring. And, why do you sell a car that will only last as long as the current years' Iphones? Even more discouraging is the fact that the service manager and GM continue to ignore emails and requests for meetings. Sadly, I am left with no other options than to engage legal representation. read more

***Inexperienced buyers should beware*** I took my aunt in to lease a brand new Cadillac XT4 and the transaction at Linus continues to be a disaster. We had high expectations when we first met our Salesman, Greg. He was knowledgeable and professional. However, everything went downhill when it came time to sign the contract and we drove off the lot with the $45k plus 2019 Cadillac XT4. Upon signing the contract I noticed that the trade-in value came in $250 lower than we were told by the salesman after he asked for the trade-in specialist to take a second look. The finance office said that the saileman provided the number prior to asking the trade-in specialist, which was not accurate at all. She added that he did not know what he was talking about... Not very reassuring, and that was not our experience with him. However, we chose not to split hairs over the $250. While going over the contract I noticed that the allowed mileage was 12,000 miles annual, when we had negotiated 10,000 miles. This was an error in their favor, but I pointed it out. The finance officer offered that this was some sort of base calculation used because we had negotiated a 39 month lease, as opposed to the typical 36 month lease. Her explanation made absolutely no sense to me, but again we wanted to be good patrons. Once the contract was signed, we drove off in the new vehicle. The honeymoon was short-lived when we quickly found that the majority of the safety features (all of the parking sensors, front and rear collision avoidance, and the back-up camera warnings) were not functioning. We immediately brought the vehicle back and found out that there was at first a faulty sensor and ultimately a more significant flaw with the safety feature mechanism. This was a huge disappointment. However, we were given a loaner and promised it would be fixed ASAP. The XT4 was fixed a couple of days later and everything seems to be working well. A few days after that, I was back home and my aunt received a call from the finance office. They told her that she should immediately return to the dealership and sign a new contract because there was an error with the agreed upon mileage. Apparently someone finally realized what I had during the initial signing, the annual mileage was wrong and it was not some sort of inexplicable calculation... The finance office then told my aunt that if she didn't sign the new documents that they would increase her payments to reflect the new annual mileage... All of the sudden the signed contract had no significance. However, it meant everything when the dealership would not let her out of the lease as she desired during the first day when we learned the vehicle's safety equipment was defective. We were told that Florida law says there is no returning a vehicle as soon as it leaves the lot. In the end, this dealership chose to strongarm and take advantage of an older female customer. They never even offered a viable explanation for all of the issues, let alone a complimentary oil change or something of that nature. I would recommend that anyone looking to buy a Cadillac consider trying another dealership in the area. read more

On going issue with A/C with my 2012 Buick Enclave. I have been back twice now.. Will not work on hot days when outdoor temp is above 90 degrees, system shuts down will not kick in till the outside temp has gone down. Frustrating with vacation coming up not to mention the repair bill. Clay S. I did have a discussion on the phone with customer service advisor Ivonne on the afternoon of May 30th when the A/C quit working. The A/C system seems to be shutting down on high heat, high humid days. I will be returning for the 3rd time to get the it checked when the A/C shuts down again. read more

Wow this was probably the most unpleasant experience I've ever dealt with regarding Gmc dealers. I have a great GMC dealer here in Tampa in Century which I realize now how lucky I am. I found a Tahoe I wanted from Linus and I tried to be helpful when I filled out all the info on their website and the next morning the salesman (who is very young and inexperienced) told me he and his gm could not meet my demands which they assumed from website that gm created I expected the car the next morning. Haha. Give me a break I filled out their form and then they call me with an attitude? They also refused to meet me halfway or bring car to Tampa for delivery (they are still in the dark ages I assume bc no other dealer has an issue). At the end of the conversation w the gm he was so pompous and cocky that I decided to pass on the Tahoe even though it was exactly what I wanted. They sure did not need my business. Guess they must be paying gm's a million bucks a year now. My advice is beware of this place and if I was the owner I would be worried running completely incompetent sales agents out to sell your vehicles. Nothing like Rivard, Dick Norris or Century here in the Tampa Bay Area. I've bought from all three in last five years and all were PRO ACTIVE and wanted to sell a car. I came in with a broken latch to get warranty work. Supposed to be bumper to bumper. They take the car then say warranty doesn't cover. But they said the same thing last time and were wrong it was covered and they had to fix it. So I said if warranty isn't covered then not paying 600 to fix latch. So they charge me 150 They say for inspection there was no inspection. Latch was broken. Told them latch was broken. Don't do business with this company. They are not trustworthy. I went to their service department with transmission issue. It was covered with extended warranty from Zurich. They told me Zurich requires fluid change that wasn't covered to repair the issue. I told them that was a bandaid to the problem. It did quiet the grinding the transmission was doing. I thought fresh fluid with thicker viscosity is what made it quiet down. Warranty was set to expire in 12,000 miles. They found another problem with water pump that was covered under warranty. When I went to pickup the vehicle, the business office insisted I pay the full amount for the water pump repair and said they would reimburse me when payment was received from Zurich. I told them that was ridiculous as they were also authorized agents for Zürich. I reluctantly paid it. They called me later on and issued me a refund for the amount less my deductible. Lo and behold 12,300 miles later, my transmission blows. There was that scam fluid change shit to hell. At a cost of $5000 to me, I think the incompetence of their service department is it an all time high. Not only will I never purchase a vehicle there, I will never go back to the service department. I've already told very many people not to do business with them. I'm going to continue badgering that worthless car dealership. read more

Bought a Certified Cadillac 3 months ago. Engine light went on and I called for service appt. I live 25 Miles from the dealership and asked if the car will be there for a while and I will need a loaner vehicle. I was told none would be available on the date of my appt and that I can rent a car from a rental place that they have a relationship with for $35.99 per day. Sorry, but I was in the automobile business for 15 years and never had a customer pay for a rental car. They should have offered to pay the bill. Won't be going back for service there nor another future vehicle as I like the Cadillac brand.. Not worth losing a customer over $35.99.. I will drive an extra 20 minutes to another Cadillac dealer....! read more

Had my CTS repaired there. U tube said I needed a $60 part that I could have changed in about ten minutes. I went there because I was visiting FL and had no tools, they wanted $950!+ . Said I needed a transmission flush for $600 and a fuel air mixture cleaning for another $300.I realize dealerships are a rip off. It was just annoying that the service representative waited two hours and I thought the car was done but she just had a estimate for me which I'm guessing she would've waited another hour to tell me. Going to call me when the car was ready but I was nearby so I stopped back in about two hours later and the car was ready but I had no phone call. Anyway I was just not impressed to say the least my dealer in New York would never have treated me like that. read more

Our truck is 2011 and like part of the family. Needed a "Facelift" due to time and use. The bodyshop did a great paint job (matching red can be tough). The detail department returned her looking like a brand NEW truck for a small fraction of the cost to trade. If you want to give your ride a "Facelift" totally recommend The Linus Family . Ordered a vehicle over the phone. Before car arrived he quit. He asked me to go over order which I did. Said it had a sunroof but it arrived without. Wanted adaptive cruise control which I did not get. Some of the blame could be on me but if I'd dealt with a professional it would not have happened. I bought a good used car here in 2012 and the deal went well. When I came back this past month, the car wasn't worth too much, but we needed reliability so we looked around the lot. I have no real way to know if the value I was given on my 2003 CTS was right, so I took it. The ALTIMA with the 2013 sticker in the front was a 2012. Should have been a warning, but OK, we ignored it. We find the sales staff jovial, so we went ahead. The car is OK, and once again I have no way to know what it's real value is. Martin, the finance guy, was also entertaining, but here are two issues to watch out for, and if you know my wife, you know that I'm not imagining this: We use a PO box. we specifically and repeatedly made sure that Martin understood that mail sent to our street address doesn't get there, so the GM Finance documents would have to go to the correct address. We value our credit rating and wouldn't want mail to disappear (foreshadowing). Since I only used the GM loan as a bridge to a quick payoff, I asked when I could pay it off, and Martin (a jovial Brit with a humorous family situation) told us "anytime after 3 months, " and I could see that that would be how the finance company makes its money. No big deal, so finance took less than an hour. OK, no finance documents as of yesterday. Martin's not in, so Sam gave me a 800# to GM, where #017237 robotically but pleasantly told me that the address they'd been given was the street, so that explained no docs (but they'll send them out again ASAP), the payment is due on the 14th (4 business days) and the payoff value as of today is ... $Nnn ("He told you you had to wait three months? I don't know why. It's a simple loan.") Here's the address to mail a check... OK call Linus, ask for manager, get Sam, who says, what was it? Something about an apology. Just before I put the phone down I told him I doubted I'd be going back to Linus. But HEY! It's a used car sales division. Am I actually surprised? No, I guess not really. Just disappointed in the lack of precision and attention to detail. My experience with Linus's service department was "OK" to say the most. Caveat Emptor. Get them back for me. read more

I can't say enough good things about Linus and their service. I had the misfortune of dealing with Wallace Cadillac in Stuart initially but only because it was closer to me. Two visits to Wallace was all it took to make it clear that it's better to drive a little farther away and get the treatment and service you expect and deserve as a client. The care and attention with which Linus treated my case are unparalleled. There was no hurry to get my car in & out of there, they took their time diagnosing the issue and the whole time I drove a top of the line loaner vehicle (newer & nicer than mine!). My 2008 Escalade broke down and I had it towed to Linus where I have been many times for all types of service. As an example I had a new starter and battery installed six weeks ago for $900.00. Monday I was told that the engine was blown and it would be $7800 to fix it.I was told no coupons or discounts were avaiable, if they were the service desk would know. The next day I found an offer for 15% off from Cadillac in my E mails. I had already had my car towed to another shop for a new Jasper engine for much less money. To add insult to injury after buying 3 Escalades I had to pay $49 to get my keys. I can't understand how you expect someone to return to your dealership. They know it was my THIRD Escalade but they got $49 more. You will never see me again NEVER, how insulting. read more
