This is a review for the mini golf, garden center and farm market. We got timed tickets for mini golf around 10 am on a Monday. It wasn't busy at all and we took our time. It was a lot of fun! Each hole was themed around something in the environment. The garden center was beautiful and had some amazing plants! They had home decor, candles, toys, and so much more. Everything was very organized. The farm market had so much variety! Hot sauces, jams, pasta, produce, cheese, etc. We went to get a pie and also picked up a few other things. It's been a while since I have been back here. There is a lot to take in and it can get crowded. They offer lots of home decor and seasonal decorations in their gift shop, and they have have a food market with a lot of specialty foods and baked goods. In addition they have a decent sized plant section with houseplants . Of course they have produce available with different varieties of apples. I didn't do any "pick your own" activities. They also have a petting zoo . In the fall they offer a huge offering of pumpkins, gords, etc... I'm not sure how the pandemic has affected fall activities but they used to offer hayrides. I really wanted to give this 4 stars but I couldn't do to my cons below. Here's my review: Linvilla Orchard is located in Media, PA about 30 mins south from Philadelphia. They sell seasonal local produce and baked goods. Linvilla has fruit festivals and you can pick your own. Linvilla is a great family fun place where you don't have to spend a lot of money to have a nice time. Some activities are even free. You can see the Barnyard animals for free. If you're child wants to ride the pony it's about $10 and cash only. They also have fishing, hayrides, mini golf, face painting, train ride and there's a playground. The playland playground is free but it's suggested you give $2 for the upkeep of the playground and it's on an honor system so if you give your give if you don't you don't.  If you want to do some of the activities like hayrides, fishing, train ride, pick-your-own and etc. It's best you visit Linvilla's website because some activities are timed and your have to purchase tickets online. Linvilla also has free music show and they recently had a cute Bubble magic show for children. Silly Joe sung songs with the children and read them a story. There's also a really nice beer garden for the adults to kick back and enjoy. It's best to visit Linvilla early as it starts to get crowded later in the day. And this way you get the best parking spot! It's really a fun place to make an entire day of it. They have food but the only thing I really tried was the roasted corn and it was delicious. They had side fixings in case you wanted to season it yourself. Cons: Some of the animals don't look happy or well taken care of. A deer had a huge gash on top of his nose and it looked so sore. Many of the chickens had picked at each other so bad they were missing feathers and it was extremely noticable and looked so bad. Some chickens had small man-made covers on their backs in an effort to protect them but it looks like something more should be done to care for these animals. Animals are so territorial and I think it's just too many of them in coop. Also the farm needs more restrooms or to make sure the few they they do have working toilets. The women's bathroom had 5 stalls and only 3 of them were working so it made for a longer wait which isn't good when nature calls. read more

Went to Linvilla recently on one of the sunny warm weather days we had in late October. We enjoyed a hayride, cookies and donuts from the market & shooting the apple blaster. It was a great time & the staff were all friendly and welcoming. It was the perfect fall farm setting. I can see how the weekends would be mobbed, so I was glad to have gone on a Wednesday. LINVILLA is doing a great job during covid! Masks are required anywhere on the property and they are simplifying the pick your own process. For apples it's $36 for a peck (one peck for every 6 guests) and they don't give any other pay options. This eliminates lines for weighing apples and paying which is great for less contact. It also helps efficiency and quick exits = less crowds. TIPS: go early, pumpkin land parking is in the middle. Walk way up the hill to the right to get to the pick you own area. Walk the other direction to get to the farmer's market (with great Apple cider donuts). The playground is closed during the pandemic. read more

Linvilla Orchards had been a tradition for many different occasions for many families for many years. A bit embarrassed to say last year during the strawberry PYO was my very first time at Linvilla's O. I came across this place scrolling thru Facebook, somehow it show up on my feed, don't ask me how, I have no clue lol! Bought my PYO tickets online, check-out was a breeze and instructions were clear. When we arrived at Linvilla's, we parked, check-in and picked up our baskets at the PYO shed. Then we got on the wagon, it drove us to the strawberry field. We went the week after they did the strawberry festival, so lots of strawberries were gone. But we still picked enough to fill 6 boxes lol. We had a great time during the PYO and swore of doing it again next year! The PYO for strawberries didn't start yet, but I came across Hayrides to Bunnyland on Facebook. I had follow their page since last year to keep me up-to-date on events. I have never been on a hayride so I ask my daughter to see if she is interested, she is. YES, me and her were thrill once I secure our tickets on a sunny day lol. On the day, we got a seat in the back of the hayride with the bench, me and her were able to sit together while hubby sit on the hay. Of course, we were laughing at him for getting that "specialty seating" lol. When we arrived at Bunnyland, staffs were very welcoming and even gave each of us a bag of gummies. The bunny walked around the hayride wagon to give everyone a chance of taking pics. It was a very fun experience for me and my little one! We was suppose to go back home, but it was such a nice day, my daughter want to play in their playground and see the other animals. So we stop by Linvilla's Grill for a quick lunch. At the Linvilla's Grill, we bought hot dog, turkey sandwich, apple cider donuts, apple cider slush, and cheeseburger with fries. My daughter ate the hot dog without the bun, that bun is hard as rocks lol. My turkey sandwich was tasty. Hubby says his cheeseburger with fries were a bit "crispy" but it will do lol. We saw a bit of the animals and my little one ran to the playground. It has a $1/ppl box upon entering the play area, so I put $2 for me and her. I let her ran wild but still kept my eyes on her making sure no one bully my child. Have to encourage her to tell a couple of kids " back off" lol. Before going home, we have to stop by Linvilla's market. I saw their seasonal cakes online and it was a MUST HAVE for sweet tooth lol..... We just love Linvilla for Plants, garden supplies and especially apple cider donuts (get 'em while their hot). The Fruit is mostly local but it is not all from Linvilla. The ongoing pandemic has definitely taken a toll on a lot of businesses and public places since a consumer's mindset to buy anything outside of essentials or to visit a public place like a park or beach, has crippled down significantly. Now by living with what has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses and public places continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards. It is now all the more important that we as customers, support these heroes during these dark hours to mankind. We were in PA for the weekend visiting our family and went here on recommendation. We had the booking for the maze and went straight in. The orchard is closed for the season, so the options were limited. The parking was brimming with people and cars and since it was humongous, finding a parking spot wasn't difficult. The place is a private property but well maintained for its vastness. The maze was setup with rolls of hay & straw and was a good time-pass for the kids that we accompanied. We walked around for some photographs as there were plenty of scenic spots. We were really impressed with the shop that had a lot of indoor plants for sale. The Christmas dolls were a real treat for the eyes as much as the colorful pumpkins that were on sold on the carts. read more

This place is amazing! I always enjoy coming here around the fall! I went with my sister on Saturday, they have a little farm where you can purchase plants, ornaments and etc! They also have a little market where I bought pumpkin pizzelles, apple cider donuts and pumpkin bagels! They have a lot of activities for kids, hayride, face painting and more... This is a great place to go on a fall day if you're looking for great food and a fun pumpkin-picking experience. I went with my husband, brother, sister, and her boyfriend. We shared some food because it was a little pricey for all of us to chip in and get something for ourselves. The options were great though! [805] We have visited Linvilla Orchards for years and always enjoy our visit. We do have to visit on the off season as it can be CRAZY BUSY. Plenty of parking. During the fall they have hayrides to the witches house. The cool one is after hours. You can reserve a hayride for you and your friends. There is a garden center building with tons of cool items for purchase. There is a store which has tons of fresh veggies and fruit. Tons of pies are available. Tons of pumpkins. On the weekends they open additional outside stores which have donuts, candied apples, cider, pizza and tons of more food. Musical guests come to entertain the kiddos. [Peach Picking ] 06/13/2021 We went to Linvilla Orchrards at 12:30 pm. We had previously reserved the PICK YOUR OWN ticket online for strawberries, however when we arrive, they told us there was no strawberries to pick and we will have to pick peaches instead. It's fine by us since we love peaches but for people who only wanted to pick strawberries, this might be a little disappointed. We got on a 10 mins hay ride to the peach field. Most of the peaches in the front are still pretty firm. We found that if you walk all the way to the back of the row, you will find riper and redder peaches. It took us about 15-20 mins to fill up our papper box and only 5-10 mins wait for the hay ride back. The farm has plant shops, indoor farmers market, beer garden and more. Perfect for a day trip with friends or family. *I put the firm peaches in brown paper bag for 48 hours and now they're perfectly ripe and ready to be made into peach cobbler read more

I used to love coming here for there breads . Would have the loaf almost done by the time I drove back to my daughters house. This time, both loafs were horrible. Bought the Pepperoni cheese and jalapeño cheese. I finally roasted a piece on the grill and got to salvage a slice of each loaf before throwing them both out. Service was good. Fast moving lines and enough things to choose from. Love the gift shop. I think you may have lost a customer though, second time bread was a disappointment. There are plenty of other things to do at the orchards . I did do the blueberry picking the one time, that took several hours , for it was hard to find any blueberries that were ripe or bushes that had any to pick . Linvilla Orchards has become a fall tradition for Andrea and myself. Apple picking & pumpkin picking to apple sling shots & a beer garden! We usually set off for elotes first and than head out to do some fun activities. My personal favorites are the apple sling shot, corn maze and hay ride. Armed with a whole bucket of apples, targets and a little bit of finesse; this activity will certainly help mend what ever demons haunt you. Launch an apple onto hostile scarecrows or try to beg the enemies vehicle as it cruises through the field. The corn maze seems easy enough, again seems. Be prepared to track back and forth several times, encounter folks doing the same and tempted to just cut through to the outskirts. Either way makes for a fun adventure that you'll be sure to laugh fondly about. Fall hayrides are one of my favs, not much of an activity as it is a trip and tour about Linvila. Nestled in the back of a flatbed with hay, tour guide will explain how Linvilla operate year round; planting Christmas trees for the winter, blueberry and strawberries for summer along with a pool I believe and of course apple/pumpkin harvest for fall. Had a great time at Linvilla. This place gets packed, get there as early as you can! We got there at 11 and parking lot was already full. There was an overflow parking but it's a bit of a walk. You can buy tickets for activity online, since it's cheaper and you'll get to skip the line. We did the corn maze and it was a little too short and easy for adult but we still had fun. Lines for the apple cider were long but moved fast. The hot cider was delicious. Apple cider donuts were also delicious. You can wait on the line outside or get them inside the store. We also had the blooming onions which were fried to perfection. Parking was hectic everywhere. Just be patient and make a couple laps until you can grab someone's spot. read more

Awesome experience! Haven been mostly indoors for the past few months, coming to Linvilla Orchards was definitely a nice change. They had a wide array for fresh plants and vegetables and a market that sells a range of items. The entire area is big enough to safely socially distance from other visitors. After walking around the market and pumpkin area, we took a hayride that drove us to the orchards. There, we were able to walk though the orchard independently and pick as many apples as we wanted. The apples themselves were delicious and fresh! Once we finished, another ride came to pick us up and take us back to the main area. Was a warm weekend, so I u sweat and why it was popular. But Sunday was so full! Lines were 30+ minutes for simple activities, beers were 7+ dollars, and the food market wasn't all too impressive except for some cheese breads I came across. Apple cider slushie was the best part, along with ahalf dozen apple cider donuts to split amongst friends. Lines were so long, that by the time we wanted to pick apples, we figured we'd not make it with enough time to wait, pick, and get back without feeling rushed, so we found a nearby brewery or two instead. My friends and I checked out Linvilla Orchards today to go apple picking and had an amazing time! It costs $1 to get a box, which you have to do because Linvilla does not allow outside containers. You also have to pay a $5 admission fee per person but you can use your admission fee towards the purchase of your apples. Apples are $2.99 per pound or you can fill a box for $39.99 (minus your admission fees). There are plenty of apples to choose some, but some of the tree varieties have more apples to choose from than others. There is a board up front that tells you which apples are the best to pick each day. In addition to the apple picking area, Linvilla Orchards also had Pumpkinland, which is a fall festival mainly geared towards children. They have a ton of food (all of which is reasonably priced) and games/rides. There are also hayrides, but I went on a Saturday afternoon and the line was way too long for me to wait in. They have two varieties of peaches and the weather was great. The hayride is ok as there isn't much to see. We also felt that the produce was overpriced (they even charge for the boxes to pick fruits/vegetables which we found absurd since the whole concept is to buy a lot of produce. Found the customer service experience to also be meh (the drivers couldn't wait to load/unload passengers) I have been to other farms (e.g. johnsons farms in south jersey) and the experience and prices were better. Yes, Linvilla draws huge crowds in the fall, but there is definitely a good reason: they provide something for everyone. Whether you want to take your kids apple or pumpkin picking, want a taste of fall, or just want a casual beer in a festive beer garden, there is something for everyone. Everything is generally well run. Food wise, the variety ranges from fall favorites (candy apples and cider donuts) to hot dogs to wood fired pizza to shawarma to ice cream. The farmers market has an endless supply of gourmet foods (from jellies to tons of hot sauces to very specific jarred or pickled vegetables). You do pay a bit of a premium. The example is an $18 cider ice cream float that comes in a handled mason jar with a cider donut on it - it was good but definitely made for the Instagram crowd. I would also suggest looking for plants elsewhere - you can get comparable quality for less. Also, their market terminals don't take Apple Pay (despite having contactless readers) and still require physical signatures, which slows things down. read more

I finally got to see for myself, what all the hype was about with Linvilla orchards, this place is definitely popular and I'm surprised that I've never heard of Linvilla, especially when most of my family and friends have been here numerous times! Linvilla orchards is perfect for family fun, especially for kids, yes they will love it! why cause it's soo many things they can do here, like getting your face painted and going apple picking there's so much fun to see. When we arrived it was very crowded with a fall ish theme, everything about the orchards screams fall, from pumpkinland to apple cider and strawberry mazes.... speaking of mazes, we definitely enjoyed playland. I literally felt like I was seven again while going through the maze and trying to find my way out. Thank goodness for my nephew's seven year old brain that got us out the maze! We also got on the hayride and was able to get a tour of the orchards which is very beautiful. After the ride we were able to sit by the bonfire and roast marshmallows while drinking our complimentary apple cider. The carnival food was also delicious especially the roasted corn and the apple cider donuts. Linvilla orchards also offers a market were you can purchase produce and assorted baked goods. I have gone to Linvilla every year for the past 7 years and the orchard experience seems to decline every year. This year has been the worst, where it's clear it's purely about profit for these people and not about the experience. They charge $6 per person now for apple picking, meaning a family of 4 with 2 toddlers will have to pay almost $30 just go pick some apples with a box. It doesn't even matter to them that there are nearly no apples left, they will still charge you. Not only that, service has gone downhill. I had $20 worth of tokens left from last year because there was just nothing left to pick, so I tried to use them this year, but was told we would still have to pay the entrance fee, meaning we would have to spend $40 worth of apples. When I was explaining the situation, one of the farmers got so rude, cut me off, grabbed the tokens out of my hand, and talked to me super slowly like I didn't speak English, asking me 3 times, "Do you understand what I'm saying?" Just because I ask a clarifying questions doesn't justify you touching me or grabbing things out of my hand, and just because I am Asian doesn't mean you need to speak slower to me and assume I don't understand what you're saying.
