LionFish
-Location : Tijuana (Zona Rio) - Erasmo Castellanos Q. 1857
-Food :
Price in all of the whole meal converted from pesos to USD: ~$60 with the tip
-Raw Oysters: Cold, fresh, and clean! The best way to eat raw oysters. The sauce it came with had plenty of red onion in it, and there was also fresh lime to enjoy it with. 4.5/5
-Tostada Sampler: Came with Tuna Special (Fresh tuna marinated in a dark sauce with avocado cream and grilled onion), Red Snapper (Fresh snapper marinated in borracha sauce, red onions, avocado and aioli sauce), Crab (with mayo, lime juice, pico de gallo, and avocado), and Mazzatleca (Grounded fish with lime juice and red onions, with shredded carrots and chopped jalapenos):
**Perfect for those who want to try a little bit of everything! 4.5/5
-Tacos: Costa Azul (stuffed shrimp with marlin machaca, bacon, pico&alioli sauce), Ensenada Style (battered fish, pico, cabbage, sour cream), Salseado (octopus with avocado slices, cream, and borracha sauce) 3.5/5
**Very mediocre "fancy" tacos. I've had better tacos, but these were known for fused-style tacos
-Drink Menu wasn't available, we literally just pointed at the screen and drinks came out! Really cute presentation. Overall the food was mediocre, but an amazing experience. I would like to come back to try the different entrees offered!
-Service: The servers are super friendly and when you order a specialty drink they'll put a show on for you! They're also very clean, anytime there was a piece of trash or anything on my table they got it out the way. I also went to the men's restroom by accident because I didn't see the sign and the waiter chased me in there to get me out, so bless him for that. 5/5
-Ambiance of Location: Love the ambiance of the place, super fun, and hip. Indoor dining is dark, and outdoor dining has really nice lighting. I believe it's also two-story, so there is PLENTY of seating and I feel like everything was spaced out really nice. 5/5
-Parking: We uber to the location, but there is valet parking here! 5/5
-Tran Tip: If you can't go to TJ but want to try the place, there is a location in San Diego downtown. read more
