Mainly in my back. Building them up has made keeping decent posture easier throughout the day. That's my primary goal and it's clearly happening. So you will always hone an area or machine freed up for you. My only complaints is that they blast booty rap really loud through the speakers. Like the loudest gym ever where you can barely hear the people at the front desk when speaking to them. Other times they will play butt rock which is just a tad more tolerable. Some may not survive without head phones. The men's bathroom is not the cleanest. Always smells. If you are a sauna user. It is also just mid. My other bigger complaint is that the heavy bags upstairs are unusable. They hung em on chains so high that they are pretty much unusable and they run into the ceiling frame. Went to grab it then came back in. While I was walking back in the front desk dude yelled with insane attitude "hey sign in" I replied I already did, maybe if you weren't on your phone looking down when I walked in the first time you would have known. I am all for understanding, but you raise your voice at me like that? Not my jam, but I kept it cool cause I just took some pre and figured I was just raging from the pre. But it pissed me off and ruined my lift for that day. Day 25 they don't seem to know which is a standard for their foam roles or straps. One person lent me the foam roles, another person required an item to check it out. I attended this gym for maybe 3 or 4 month and went right back to BigTex cause this gym sucked. They say 'Mecca' or whatever but this place is Mecca crap. Scummy management, save your money. Go to BigTex, MetroFlex or even Fitness Connect. Prices are similar. Loud music, and when I say loud you have noise canceling headphone on and you still hear their gyms music. Dirty! cleaning staff is there but somehow it's still nasty, dried sweat on the window for months on end. "Ohh it's busy" I drew an 8 on the door with my sweat and it stayed there for nearly a month. I'd rather be at metroflex with the weight outside in a barn basically. Restrooms never seem to be working properly, one of the showers is always running. Yet no one is in there. Haunted or busted water system? Final review it's a NEW gym but somehow feels like it's already 4 years old. Cool equipment, shitty staff, shitty management, shitty deals, shitty across the board. My journey with Katie started right after a really difficult time in my life. I was heavier than I had ever been (by a lot!), was stressed out and anxious, and definitely was not putting my health first. When we started working together the workouts were awesome but I wasn't seeing the results I wanted because my diet and lifestyle was not changing. It wasn't until Katie and I had a heart to heart that I started examining the root causes of my unhealthy lifestyle and made the commitment to change. Scheduled a call to review my needs and was able to get into Eric's schedule for a Friday assessment. The gym is quaint and quiet, I've driven by a million times. The parking is a bit odd, a few spots up front where you have to reverse onto S Lamar when exiting...sooo that can be a challenge. They have parking in the rear of the building which is great however there is a single entry way and well, not sure how multiple cars could park and get out. Just know your reverse skills need to be on point. The gym inside has everything you'd need and since it's not open to the public it's just the clients and trainers. That means no waiting for machines and no one looking at you while you're there. Eric is great, he's very easy to talk to and made the whole experience easy. Upon arrival we walked through the questionnaire filled out online to find out the why behind the personal training inquiry. He then did a body scan for weight and fat %, took blood pressure three times as well. Gave a quick tour of the gym and how things work then it was onto the physical movement assessment. Nothing too crazy, range of motion and flexibility tasks. Took an hour for the initial visit and came back the next day to finish a few small exercises then learn the warm up needed prior to sessions. No membership needed as you buy the session in backs, 5, 10, 20 and can be used how you want. Like that there's no long term contract to sign. Session will start in the next week or so with focus on building/repairing the base/functional imbalances before getting into the fun part. Time will tell how this goes, wish me luck!

I was a little apprehensive about boot camp workouts before coming here but I can see how effective they are as you keep moving during these workouts and get some cardio conditioning too. Good form is encouraged and the instructor goes from station to station to motivate and to help with modifications. Plus you get a killer playlist to listen to and people of all fitness levels to workout with. Looking forward to incorporate Heat into my exercise routine.

My Saturday session was quite full but Thursday was only 6 of us. The group varied in experience and intensity so you never felt left behind and always had someone to observe and feel inspired by.
