My hair is silky smooth and it feels amazing. They have their own parking which was a big plus for me because they are located on a busy street, but I did also see meter street parking as well. Rebekah was very friendly and warm. She asked about my hair and how I part it and explained the outcomes of the treatment. I really appreciated this because it was my first time there and my first time getting this specific treatment. She did warn myself that this treatment lifts color and leaves hair a few shades lighter. It was nice to be given an explanation and a warning instead of seeing the changes unexpectedly. My hair has been red for a good 4-5 years. It was time for me to make a change and I knew for a fact i wanted to get my hair to a pastel/ cotton candy pink. I love this salon! I've been looking for a place in LA to get a good cut and also take into consideration my naturally curly hair (and desire to grow it long). I saw them by chance on Gilt City for a cut and blow dry. My stylist was Chloe, who got me on the schedule quickly (and offered extra work hours in case I couldn't make it from work!) and she did an amazing job! Gave me so many tips on caring for my hair, which hair tools I should look into and didn't push me on salon products. Chloe was amazing and I would 100% recommend her (I will definitely be going back to her soon). Quick parking tip for everyone - parking on 3rd street is crazy. Try heading north on some of the side streets to grab a metered spot close by, if you can. It'll be less stressful than trying to find a spot directly on 3rd. read more

Audrey Warner, aka Master Colorist Artist, is positively amazing with a brush. Audrey has the unique ability to color your hair in such a way that it not only adds dimension but catches the light. She's the first person to color my hair to where it frames my face from every angle understanding the body/movement of my hair, her highlights placed with precision and intent. She's a perfectionist to the max and understands her skill like no one I've ever worked with. Highlights by Audrey don't yield the typical chunk of hair thats sorted into skinny strands and lightened (if you have highlights, you KNOW what i'm talking about), instead Audrey literally PAINTS your hair. She's also the first person who's ever lightened my hair and made it magically appear longer! Who knew that was even possible? I just want to say thank you to both Christophe and Lionel for such a great experience. Christophe cut my hair a few months ago at another salon and I was excited when I heard about his move. This time I felt I needed more, or as he said "a bit of a makeover" (talented, experienced, handsome, French men can get away with stating the cold hard truth). Fast forward a couple of hours, I walked out of the salon feeling like a new person. The salon itself is beautiful, airy, simple, chic with a relaxed atomsphere. The same could be said of Christophe, who pays exquisite attention to his client and his craft. My hair was a long mash up of old coloring mistakes and he transformed it into a gorgeous mane of natural blonde tones/colors. You know that glittering honey blonde that 12-13 year old girls have after a summer at the beach? That's what Christophe gave me sans beach and teenage angst. She is an incredible treasure trove of information about the science behind color and cut and approaches hair as an artistic collaboration between your style, your hair type, and her skills. She will understand your hair in a way I guarantee you've never experienced. When I first found out the salon was on 3rd, I was a little concerned because parking can sometimes be tricky there, especially on the weekends. I found parking right away though, and Christine even said they're about to get valet there soon, which will make things really convenient. The salon is beautiful and modern. High ceilings, a lot of natural light, clean white walls and sleek hard wood. Christine is a super nice, super cute Swedish chick. A french expert colorist recommended Christophe as a fabulous stylist. He immediately knew exactly what to do with my over grown hair and also decided to add some 'pow' to my color with a balayage, a french coloring technique that does not use harsh heat or foils. Lionel came by to chat and they both are such gentlemen. It is a rare find in Los Angeles amongst the egos, celeb-wannabe stylists who are so full of themselves! I have been going to Lionel Renard for almost a year for root touch ups every four weeks, highlights and cuts. He does such an amazing job - he is not only incredibly skilled but he understands what how to make you look your best, and how to keep your hair healthy. During highlights he uses brown paper instead of foils to be more gentle on the hair. And has developed a line of natural paraben free products. My 7 year old donated her hair and I was concerned she would be upset with how short it was.
