This store needs to be Shut Down!! I went in to purchase Tito's and Sutter Home Chardonnay, when I got home, I noticed that the Chardonnay was very dark in color, which is not normal, the usual color is very light. I took it right back to the store to see if I can exchange it, I let the cashier know what was going on, and I did not feel safe drinking it, she stated there is nothing they can do, no exchange. I went back to the wine section to see if they had any to compare, come to find out all the Sutter Home Chardonnay 4pk they had was dark in color, all expired, the Tito's vodka was watered down!! SAD!! I went to my regular liquor store to ask them if they exchange bottles that are bad and showed him what I purchased. Come to find out, Liq-Q-Rama changed management and changed policies. I would never recommend this store, they are selling expired liquor. If I would have drank that and got sick, I would sue the hell out of them!! Be aware!! read more

This store is huge. They have a large selection of beverages. They even have a section for gift sets that usually cost the same as getting the beverage on its own. They have amazing deals here. I was able to get a handle(1.75 L) of Captain Morgan for $10. I have been getting select flavors of Smirnoff Vodka (750 mL) for $6. They even have great deals on airplane bottles. This place is amazing !!! Not much of a beer or wine guy. I'm here for the whiskeys ! Sooooo many great choices. AND when I asked about a favorite that was not on the shelf, they had four bottles of it for me within 3 days. I also shop for rum, tequila, liquers, tequila, sotol, ouzo, vodka, etc. Service has always been good. Questions are always welcome answered. Went here this evening after needing something to help with my allergies. Every year this time I get cold like symptoms from my allergies including a scratchy throat. But, a hot tottie always seems to help; and liq-o-Rama did not fail to disappoint at all. Their prices are a little bit higher than other spots and their location is a little sketchy, but they do have some great deals and I was able to walk out with some whiskey, three large shots of fireball, and a large can of spiked seltzer for $20?!? Where else can this happen?!? It is right by my work too, which makes it super convenient to pop by and grab something when I've had a long day. They also have a great beer and wine selection and the lady at the counter was cordial and recommended the pineapple infused whiskey I selected, which turned out to be amazing!! One of the larger liquor stores within a decent driving distance from Keller (the new Goody Goody in Colleyville is the other). While there are closer stores, this is definitely the one with one of the larger selections in the three major booze groups. I won't drive specifically to go here*, but it is a convenient stop when heading to/from Granbury. Oh, and if you don't mind your name on another mailing list, they do quite a lot of tastings here. * If I don't find what I'm looking for closer to home, I will call here to see if they have what we are looking for. Great selection, laughably non-existent service. I moved to Fort Worth 4 1/2 months ago. A friend pointed out Liquorama as we drove past, and I decided to check it out. It is one of the largest liquor stores I have ever been in. The selection is terrific. It's just that they need to give you a key and let you in when the staff is not there, since it really makes no difference. I generally buy a bottle of Maker's Mark, a bottle of Smirnoff, three bottles of Courvoisier, and three boxes of Bota Box Shiraz each month, around $200. If someone can supply my needs, they have my business. I was at Liquorama Saturday, January 7, around 12:30 p.m., for the first time. There was exactly one staff member present in the whole large space, a bored girl with a cold at the counter. She didn't greet me or take any notice of me. Left to my own devices, I looked over their selection. They had a nice selection of whiskies. I had no trouble finding Maker's Mark or Bota Box Shiraz. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they sold cocktail mixes, including my favorite Bloody Mary mix, Zing Zang. In the state I moved from, that would not be allowed. I wondered if they had a Japanese whiskey. Usually, the only label you can get is Suntory. I asked the girl at the counter. "Gee, I dunno," she said. "Whiskies are over there. You might check and see if anything says 'Japanese whiskey.'" That was typical of her non-existent customer service attitude. I couldn't find Courvoisier, except in boxed gift sets from Christmas, with their extra (and, to me, unneeded) glasses. I asked the girl at the counter if they had Courvoisier that was not in boxed gift sets. She said "No." A few minutes later, I found it--not in boxed gift sets. To my amazement, the girl actually boxed my purchases, instead of just standing there looking at me, which is what I would have expected from her previous attitude and behavior. She also offered to put my shopping cart back. Again, there's a great selection, and the place is convenient to the Keller area, where I live. But service is a joke. You're on your own. read more

Why would you use cheap plastic bags for glass liquor bottles?? I bought a bottle of Tangueray for my husband today for his birthday. The man at the counter put both my wine and the gin in a bag and handed to me. I go home, lift the bag out of my truck and the bottles go right through the bottom and shatter at my feet!! I immediately called the store and I was told it's not their problem. I bought it and they put glass in a cheap bag that breaks and it's not their problem? It's not like I brought in my own bag...it's a bag that they supply!! The right thing to do would be to replace my bottle and get better bags!! I asked to speak with a manager but he claimed that his boss wasn't there. I'll never do business with this store again!! read more

This place is a flat out joke! A ton of selections and some of the best whiskey and bourbon around but not at prices any person who knows the stuff would pay. I spend a good deal on the great brown liquid but this store won't receive my money unless they start treating the customer right. (Poor customer service in my experience as well) Have btac and pappy on the shelf higher than most secondary pricing. You are already making money if you sell it stop with the greed please! Located right at the intersection of 820 & Blue Mound Rd with easy access back to the highway. This is a pretty big store with a great selection of items from the really low end to the really high end stuff. The prices are average. The owner is Mike and he is a helpful guy, but the other people working in the store are just... there. Not very knowledgeable about the items they carry and not helpful with recommendations, so know what you're looking for when you go. They have a huge wine collection in a separate room, too. read more

Best liquor store in north Fort Worth area. Huge selection and liquors you can't get at many places.Specs is like this too near Roanoke/Westlake border but so what and the small rectangle feel of that building sucks. What a selection of spirits and the staff is great. The glass case selection of spirits for the expensive stuff is impeccable especially the scotches. 500 dollar 25 year Highland Park in a wood container. .in my dreams!. This place has what you are looking for . We have two other liquor stores closer to us but I go here for the huge selection of vodka and the great prices !!!! They have the largest area for small sample bottles I have ever seen and I always pick up a few to try new things (2 sample bottles start at 1.99 ) I am not a wine drinker but they have a very large area for that as well ! read more

Well, while I really like the selection here I had a bad experience today. Tried to buy two bottles of wine using my credit card but they refused to make the sale unless I went back out to my vehicle in the 38 degree and drizzling weather to get my drivers license. Now this is actually a violation of their merchant agreement not to accept a signed card without ID but they would not budge. They claimed it was to protect me from identity theft but letting them having both my credit card info plus my home address and DL number would actually make me more vulnerable not less if their cashier is not trustworthy. Really just poor customer service and they lost a sale because of it. While I can recommend the selection and price here I cannot the customer service and that is the most important thing for a retailer selling the exact same thing as the shop down the street. Normally the customer service is just blah. No one seems to really pay attention or care about the customer. No one seems knowledgeable and in fact on this trip had to tell them whether a dry sack was a wine or hard liquor as they didn't even know what this item they sell is. Ended up going right down the road to their competitor and buying the same things and although I did take my ID in there I was not asked to provide it to make the same credit card transaction. read more

Went into this store on Saturday, asked about the Weller 12, they are selling for $99.99, it retails for $27.99. If you want to support a local store, don't support one that charges 3 times the MSRP because it's hard to find. This is price gouging and Buffalo Trace should stop selling to stores that do this! read more
