I came into this liquor store probably 15 mins before they closed on a weekday to quickly grab some IPAs. And the 3 women working were all huddled together at the front literally glaring daggers at anyone who walked in. I grab my beer and immediately walk to the front counter and none of the 3 women smiled, said hi, or initiated the interaction. I had to awkwardly say just this and slide my IPAs closer to her because the younger girl just couldn't be bothered. As I'm checking out the two older women are looking me up and down like insecure catty high school girls. I asked one of them what's up? Because the glaring was just ridiculous and unnecessary. And she mumbled nothing and rolls her eyes. Such a weird vibe, the blatant rudeness was unnecessary. Maybe on slow nights have the main checker send the other two home. I noticed they were all standing around doing nothing even though there was plenty of clean up and isle facing they could have been doing. I know I'd get in trouble at work if I was just standing around glaring at customers and being weird about helping them. read more

Traveling back east from San Diego and my debit card had gotten swallowed by an atm so I was issued a virtual debit card (Bank of America) that I was able to use everywhere via Apple Pay. As far as my experience here; From no knowledge of alcohol, blank stare when asked if they sold chasers like coconut water, and when I went to check out they didn't accept Apple Pay only Android pay. The only liquor store close and ran by the state does not have qualified workers with knowledge and pride in their job and the store isn't up to date with nationwide initiatives like no plastic virtual cards. Shocked by the absolute lack of customer service here. I couldn't believe how rude Randi at the check stand was. Make sure you read the tiny little sign on the plexiglass window the size of a business car that says show your ID, otherwise she will look at you like an idiot with a "are you stupid" stare. read more

They've got a Great selection if you catch them close to stocking day. I love how they have ipa's you can't get (or I just can't find) in California. Personally, I think the prices are super reasonable. Again, I'm from California. I would imagine that since Utah does not have alcohol readily available like most surrounding states, these prices are superb, considering. My favorite champagne is cheaper here than it is in California, and when I glanced at the prices of liquors and beers, I felt the same way. The staff is hit or miss. I have had some extremely helpful and polite people, and I've had some pretty rude people. All in all, I prefer to be left alone (I'm not the type of person to ask if there is more available in the back, what I see is what I assume) so for me, as long as I get no attitude at the check out counter, I'll continue to come back. read more

Out of state visitor here. This is a large store well stocked with both wine & spirts. Most of the spirits offerings are of a average selection, however if you turn the right (north wall) there are are locked display cases of allocated spirits items. Good hunting! read more

Great selection and convenient location. We are fixing up our home here in Cedar City and this place is right behind it. The staff is hit or miss, but I don't really care about that. The prices are a little higher than what we are use to, but nothing crazy read more

The most unfriendly woman at the cashier I have ever had. Did not catch the name as she did not have a name tag but I said "hi how are you today" - no answer; I was ready with my ID and credit card she took the ID looked at me a million times, checked my ID with the machine and finally gave it back. Then she asked the ID to my husband and did the same thing. Now ok, it's overwhelming to know we both look 10 years you get than we are but a little bit of manner would be nice! My husband tried to crack a joke about it and she just said : it's $10 something ... ok - we paid and OUT. And never be back again. Shame cause the selection of wine and liquor is actually very very good but there is absolutely nobody to ask to if you have any questions and the most unfriendly people at the cashier. It is the only place in probably 25 miles radio or even more that sells booze so it was obviously busy - pretty weird subjects around though. read more

Great selection for being the only store in town! Some amazing Utah produced gins and a decent selection of west coast wines, especially California notable blends. Oregon and Washington wine selection could be more extensive, but again they are doing a great job as the only store in town. read more

I would rather give them 0 stars but there is no option for that. I've never experienced such an unwelcoming place of business. Their selection is horrible and beer selection is basically null. We were traveling through on vacation and stopped in on our way to the hotel. Because we had our children with us they were quick to critique every move we made. Way to ruin the mood on what was supposed to be a great day on our vacation. Do not waste your time or money here. read more

I have never been so in embarrassed walking into a place then I have tonight. I had my service dog with me. The manager came up and started hassling me about my dog. First off he is not allowed to ask me anymore than if it's a service dog and what its functions are. But he proceeded to continue to hassle me even after I explained to him it was a service dog and what its functions were and then he asked me what my disability was. He told me my dog was too young and was worthless and never bring him back again. This will definitely be the last time. And on top of everything he got into an argument with a young lady in the store over if it was illegal for him to ask me or not and then kick her out too. read more
