Another great evening at Casa Ludovico! We were greeted by Stefano and seated right away. I had a Cosmo martini, my husband enjoyed a red wine, and both were perfect. For dinner, I ordered the tortellini alla vodka and my husband had the linguini alla pescatore di Sant'Angelo, both outstanding. Stefano stopped by to check on us, and we even shared a lovely conversation in Italian about our heritage. Thank you to Stefano and the entire staff. We'll definitely be back!

Well, I've been looking for my Italian spot on the west coast, and I could just cry tears of JOY! This place rejuvenated me, gave me a night of pure delight. They started me right with the perfect wine & marinated olives and table bread. I know what I was coming for, mixed seafood with marinara and linguini. The sauce was absolutely perfect. Not sweet and full of onions!!! But garlic-y, basil forward, with plump mussels, super tender calamari, and poppin' shrimp. The service was excellent- the waiter gave me great dessert choices too and will say that the tartufo was absolutely mind blowing. The chocolate ice cream on the inside gave me flashbacks of my childhood. This is the BEST Italian food I've had on Florida's West Coast!

Where it all began…read more... For a long time, my wife and I have visited 7venth Sun on our numerous trips to the Tampa Bay area... and while we have always stayed in the St. Pete or Tampa downtown areas, we have always felt the drive up to Dunedin was well worth the drive (even if it was about about 45 minutes out of the way). And we loved the beer.... there was something special that other breweries just didn't have. Maybe it was the atmosphere... maybe the always welcoming staff... maybe the small but intimate venue... or perhaps the patrons (always friendly). And then something changed... they opened their Seminole Heights location. For a window of time, it was closer and easier to visit the newer location. I liked this location but it wasn't the same as the Dunedin location. Less social since it was so spread out; I missed being at tables that we shared and bumping shoulders to the point that we sparked conversations with strangers (part of the beer experience; like a first date on every visit). Now that Seminole Heights in closed (which I am sorry to hear), I am excited that we finally we forced to drive back to this original location... didn't mind the drive and absolutely loved the beer, the vibe, the people; all of it.

Taylor took amazing care of us. Honestly, his service stood out in a way you don't always expect at a more casual spot ~ he was attentive, friendly, and really on top of everything without ever making us feel rushed or overlooked. It made the whole experience feel elevated! The food was just as good. I ordered the Greek salad with chicken without potato salad, and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. I also had Endless Summer cocktail that was smooth, delicious, and perfectly balanced ~ not too strong, not too sweet Even though the place was busy and had a really lively, energetic vibe, the food came out quickly, which was impressive given how packed it was. You can tell it's a true scratch kitchen, and I absolutely love that everything feels thoughtfully prepared. I left impressed and already looking forward to coming back to try more dishes. It's a lively, welcoming spot with great food and standout service. Plenty of parking, too!

That said, what may be even more important to us is the service. The staff at Craft are phenomenal. We have grown to love so many of the folks who work here who greet you with a smile, remember your favorite drink and just make the experience so much more enjoyable than just dining out. You really can't go wrong but shout out to Alex, Matt, Tori, Des and Emma! P.S. Please bring back the yippie hippie chicken salad but make it the pecan crusted chicken, pleaseeeee!
