If you are looking for variety and specialties like kegs etc. It seems hard ti beat this place. All the prices are as low as anywhere else and its well organized so you can get in and out instead of aimlessly wandering around the liquor store. Also they have multiple locations so if you need to return a keg or tap that you got at one of the other stores they allow you to do so at any location! Wow I can't believe this place. There is so many different bottles of liquor, wine, beer and other drinks here. Not to mention all drink mixes snacks and cigars. This place is literally a one stop shop for all your entertaining needs and you can spend hours here looking for stuff. You'll find me looking for bourbons, ryes, and whiskeys. Or dreaming of buying one of the premier bourbons from the lock display case in the aisle. Total Wine has been my go-to liquor store for years. It's located in the strip center due north of Westfield Countryside mall. The store is huge and it can be a bit overwhelming. The employees are always a big help in finding the location of your favorite beverage. I have also found that their suggestions and information about various beverages was extremely helpful. One of my favorites wines is the Christian Salmon Sancerre. It's a tasty Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire valley in France. Went to Total Wine and before heading here went to two other liquor stores to try to find Mü (like a coffee liqueur wine) anyway neither place had it and sent me here. Of course they didn't have it either. I asked an employee for help finding it and they checked the shelves and someone checked inventory on the computer and none. However I am very impressed with their customer service! Props to you Total Wine! I'll make the extra drive from now on to come there! Since they didn't have MÜ the associate asked what it was like, if it was sweet, etc. Along the back side they have a small bar type area where they had extra samples that they were not sampling on the floor at this time. They let me sample 3 different ones they had and I found Van Meers Tiramisu instead that tastes just as good! I went here a few days before New Year's the first time this entire year to buy two things for a New Year's party, my whack job brother called them and they told her my personal information. I literally shopped there once for a party to have friends over so entice people to hang out with me and they gave out my information, will be considering speaking with my lawyers. This is the place to go if you need beer, wine or liquor. They have everything! I love this place! This location recently underwent a partial remodeling, which includes a new tasting station for beer and cider! They also have a tasting station for wine (which has always been there.) I love that they have very reasonably priced wines that taste great as well as a huge selection of beer, including a lot of the local breweries and a brewery from back home (Michigan.) Also, like I mentioned before, they have any kind of liquor you are looking for. One of my favorite things there is a margarita mix. It is Dave's Island mix, and it is an all natural key lime mixer. It is simply the best and I have not found it anywhere else. It has changed my margarita making. This location is attached to the Kohls and across the road from the mall so traffic can be somewhat hairy but there is a huge parking lot. As always, Total Wine & More had a HUGE selection of wine and everything alcohol related! Their staff are always great about answering any obscure questions I may have. They seem to have the best prices on alcohol (at least those I have compared thus far). It was disappointing today to see that none of the customers (except me) or staff seemed to be wearing masks given the rising Covid-19 numbers in the area - especially on a busy Friday. Last year they were good about enforcing mask wearing, hopefully they'll start doing that again to help keep customers healthy and so we feel comfortable spending time shopping there. read more

They have tequila in glass bottles that look like firearms... They have little cups of wine to go and all sorts of accessories ranging from cute to suave... Hell, I even got a miniature bottle of Goldschlager here. I really don't think this place could be more awesome. Of course there's also a plethora of wine ripe for the picking. What a surprise this place is. I'm visiting my daughter and her family in Palm Harbor to celebrate the arrival of my grandson. My son-in-law thought this would be a place I'd enjoy, and he was right. I was amazed how big this place is. I can't remember ever being in a store with such an inventory of not only wine but hard liquor, beer; and for the light-weights, designer waters and sodas. Many labels I'm familiar with, but so many more I wasn't. The prices are surprising affordable. There is also an assortment of bar accoutrements and glasses. And to top it off, there was an amazing assortment of cigars at equally low prices. (My husband is going to score with this trip.) I spend way too much money here. I realize that Total Wine is the WalMart of alchohol, but I still love it. Wine- it would be hard to find a bigger selection of wine. It used to be, they had all the wines organized by region/country. Now, it's a weird hybrid of region/varietal. France is well broken out, Spain has its own section, as does Italy. Then there are sections for Chardonnay, Pinot Nior, Merlot, Shiraz, etc. I wish they would go back to the old organization, but I am sure the average wine drinker likes this method. I tend to like regions, the terroir and what it adds to all the wines. C'est la vie. Need help finding something? Want to find a wine that is like one you had and enjoyed, but isn't quite the same? The employees are AWESOME in their knowledge and can help you find anything under the sun, except Sparkling Shiraz, which they no longer carry. Beer- two aisles of beer, create your own six packs and bomber specialty brews. Whether you're looking for a Jalapeño Peach IPA or Bud Light, TW has it. The selection of local brews is impressive and laudable. I hate to share this, but the sought after brews are always in stock longer than the Tampa TW. Back when the Oscar Blues Coconut was all the rage, I found it right on the shelves, in plentiful supply. Liquor and liqueurs- A few years ago, hubby and I replaced our dining table with a bar, and headed to TW on a slow day to stock it. Mark helped us select a dazzling array of supplies, telling us when to splurge and when to save (hint: Kahlua is a rip off). Now when I see him, he still asks about the bar and still has an incredible knowledge of Liquor and differences between brands. Tastings- this location is not my favorite to do tastings. I prefer the chatty, happy staff over in Tampa for this activity. Today's visit, I actually was noticeably snubbed and treated less than great by the staff member doing the tastings. It was genuinely bizarre to get such a curt and disgruntled vibe when she was so very friendly with literally everyone else in the store. I in no way deserved this treatment and will be filling out the survey to let them know how I was treated, it was way out of the norm. Hubby suspects that my Book of Mormon Braodway T-shirt offended her (it says HELLO). LOL. Regardless of this one weird instance, the tastings have always been less enjoyable here than the other location. They need to get the staff excited about that position, their dislike of working there always shows. TW also has a "rewards" program, where dollars spent earn you points that you can spend on.....nothing. Corporate should consider making this more appealing and useful. But I do like that they don't give you a card to carry, there are enough of those around. read more

I stopped by this Total Wine Clearwater location and was so pleasantly surprised on the excellent customer service. I asked the nicest girl at a register if some one could please open the champagne case, she immediately called someone and was so kind and friendly. As soon as I got back to the champagne area Sue was there and greeted me with a smile and more knowledge than anyone has ever given me in all the years I have shopped at my local store on the east coast. She then educated me different vineyards and the red wine I had been drinking and the sugar content. She spent time with me and I learned so much about the new wines I purchased and their individual vineyards! Sue is not only a super valuable, knowledgeable employee but someone that makes shopping at total wine an overall wonderful experience! Where to start. It's impossible for me not to walk through with a cart and a smile every time I come here. The staff has always been friendly and approached with a smile asking if there is anything that they can help with, from finding niche vineyards to pairing recommendations. The selection is beyond expansive to the point time can easily slip away if you don't go in with certain vineyards or bottles in mind. The selection of seasonal items is also very abundant, carrying several of my favorite beers, ciders, and wines from the finger lakes. Pricing is very reasonable and the store is quite large with lots of room to navigate inside, even with carts. The location is so convenient right off the highway across from the mall, as you can imagine there is tons of parking. See you again soon. read more

This girl literally snapped on me about how I can't be in the store without I'd blah blah blah and where was my parent or guardian meanwhile she looked about 21 plus 1 day old. So after she asked for I'd I said it was in thr car and started to walk out to get it but she continued her rude rant..... which went on and on about why I would even come in the store without a parent or carry alcohol....... I understand there's laws and I look young but there was seriously no need for this girls episode. None. Get some more polite employees and post a sign before the checkout besides after the number at the check out about having ids ready. They have a great selection of wine, craft beers, and liquor. I have never wanted to give someplace 0 stars, now I wish I could. The absolute worst customer service I've ever experience anywhere. All of the check out girls are totally rude when they ask you for your ID. One time I was there with my g/f (I am 29, and she is 26) I am obviously over 21, she left her ID in the car, and they gave me a hard time, about her not having her ID. So she went out to the car and they still wouldn't let me buy it until she came back with her ID, so I demanded to see a manager. Only then did they back down and sell me the beer. What if a customer came in with their 5-year old (who don't have IDs), would they not sell to them? I understand checking IDs, I used to work at a theater, but use some common sense. Every other time I've been here, they rudely demanded you to take your ID out (which is very difficult for me, I have a new wallet and my ID is hard to get in or out). All the employees need a lesson in customer service. I for one will never go back, now that I have found that other stores carry Bold City's Duke's Brown Ale. I will even drive out of my way to get it, and take my business elsewhere. I suggest you do that same. read more
