Disappointing craft beer selection which is strange given the amount of unused floor space the store has.

Well, not a great start to our trip to Cape Cod! We went to Luke's in Yarmouth today. Our son was…read morelooking for a garbage pail outside to throw out an empty drink. There was no garbage pail outside so when we went in we saw a garbage pail, which he went to use, only to be yelled at by a rude woman working there who was yelling at him not to use the garbage pail! Would she rather we throw the trash in the parking lot?! He was doing the right thing! My husband asked her not to yell at our son since he was trying to throw out trash properly. The woman worker must have complained that we stuck up for our son and the manager came and yelled at us and with some back and forth banter, he asked us all to leave!! Are they serious? What did we do wrong?! I guess shame on them and too bad for them! We will take our plentiful business elsewhere! We have never witnessed such rude business ethic in our lives! We won't EVER be going there again! We hope they have the day they deserve!

I after I selected item I went to cashier and again was warmly greeted by Taylor and he inquired if there was anything else I needed and if I was satisfied. One might ask what's the big deal but in this day and age it is rare to have a person in a store treat a customer the way he did and because of that I will go out of may way to frequent the store. Great job Taylor also great job Lukes for hiring him. I know how difficult it is to find quality employees on the Cape. BTW prices and selections at this Lukes can't be beaten

We have spent summers and parts of the rest of the year on the Cape for over 20 years. It has…read morebeen around as long as I can remember. And we decided to try this weekend when my daughter came with a friend. We will definitely going back. The main complaint is that is hard to get a reservation. We started with calimari. It was pretty, but not exceptional. My wife had the onon soup. For main courses we had the beet and arugula salads, (the arugula with shrimp), the flounder and the crispy salads. The main reason I cam giving the restaurant 5* was the scallops. These were far from the typical fried scallops. They had a like panko coating, served with succotash, and were quite good, even by Cape Cod standards for scallops. The salads are both also very good. Service was attentive and not intrusive. It is a nice old house and has nice ambiance.

I've found this restaurant to be one of the best ones around. Scargo is one of the reasons why travelers shouldn't skip Route 6A. I'm usually there during off-peak (translation: cold) times, so I tend to gravitate towards more robust menu offerings. The French onion soup is quite good, with a nice beefy broth and a generous amount of cheese. It's nice that the restaurant offers bread, which is becoming a rarer occurrence. The entree portions are quite strong. The lemon flounder filets were nicely pan-fried and not overcooked. The seafood strudel has a good amount of seafood, including a lot of shrimp and smaller scallops. I don't think they have the cioppino anymore but that was also a quality entree as well. Service has always been friendly and professional. The servers are good at making friendly conversation without dragging down efficiency.
