Nicely stocked liquor store. Great wines at great prices. Service is always friendly (I've had hit or miss with staff knowledge, but I've only been here a couple times). Lots of parking space. Store is bright and clean, with a convenient layout that makes browsing a pleasure. In addition to the alcohol, there are coolers with sodas and juices. At the counter, you can find accoutrements such as bottle openers, margarita salt, and even olives and cherries. I work night shift, and I don't feel judged when I trudged in right as they opened, grabbed a $10 bottle of red wine and a bottle opener, then trudged out. read more

From a distance, we wanted to surprise our friends in the Cape with some goodies -- since they were forced to postpone their wedding. I had called multiple liquor stores and even paid for online delivery, but none were same-day delivery and most were closing down around 3 pm ET. Cranberry answered, listened to our story and dropped off our gift within an hour -- and went 30-ish minutes out of their way. They also called to make sure everything was perfect for the delivery and were helpful in picking out wines. I am new in town and in my prior experience small towns have friendly shopkeepers; not so at Cranberry Liquors. When I walked in to the store which was empty the two employees couldn't be bothered to stop their conversation with each other to offer to help me find anything. If you enjoy fabulous service, selection of wines, staff who remember you, will order whatever you need and great recommendations, this is the ONLY place to go when you are anywhere near Harwichport. The name is deceiving because this is no "packy" but a dedicated place for those looking for wines, liquor and craft beers. It is not a massive selection but they really want you to find something you will love and within any given price range. One very special element is the wonderful selection of French wines. Buy a mixed case and get a discount! We even stock up and bring cases back where we live year round. The owner is onsite but all the staff are equally helpful, trained and eager to assist. The staff's knowledge only makes this place worth going to but it also doesn't hurt that the wine selection is extremely well-rounded and well priced. Great selection and the staff is very helpful. The only place on the Cape where you can buy wine futures. While the shop isn't the largest on the Cape they can special order most things I've run past them. Very good at introducing me to new wines that I haven't heard of as well. I like it as they not only have the high-end stuff, but a great selection of terrific wine under $25 a bottle including both domestic and imported. I think the owner's wife is French so I'm guessing that helps them source stuff others don't have? read more
