I've been here 2 years ago a few times, can't remember why I stopped coming, but decided to try again today bc my new spot isn't open on sundays. I was happy to see it was empty which meant I could Make it back to my kids at a good time. Lisa was there, but a new tech saw me - I could tell she was upset that I did not opt for the pricey pedicure but these days all I need is a good pedi, and a gel mani. To start was anything but relaxing, she took to my big toe and the 2 next to it with the sharpest nail clipper (looks like an axe) and just clamped down so hard she cut my skin and left me with a half toenail - reached for the peroxide and sprayed, and when it didn't stop another green bottle but it stung so bad. Hours later it stung. When I yelled you hurt me she used another tool for my next foot, by then I was already irritated. By the time we got to my nails, I was hoping that Lisa would be the one to do them but another customer had come. I should have known my nails wouldn't come out properly - usually we use the gel machine like four times per each nail. I figured something was wrong when we ended up using it like eight times for each nail, and she knew new she messed up. They are bulky and clunky. She grabbed a file as if that might fix, but even Lisa had to say no. I was given a $10 discount (for the cost of gel) and told to come back later today and she'd take them off and fix but atleast it's a nice color. I want no parts of going back. Not sure what happened to the staff that used to work here, but this is a no. And after a reading that review from yesterday I hope I don't end up in the ER as well. read more

I just have to say I'm happy for YELP! I found this place on the way to another appointment. Called to see if powder dip was a service rendered, told yes by Lisa. Asked if she could do my nails just based on the reviews. Upon arrival she said she has an appointment with another client(not sure why she didn't tell me before arriving). Don was a nice man, too rough on my nails but he did the best of his ability(I believe). When time to pay Lisa asked for cash for tips. Wasn't aware of their policy. Once I put my glasses on I noticed my nails and I made mention to Lisa as I'm paying she said "you said you like your nails and now you are complaining . Walked in to all clinicians not wearing masks until a customer was close to them and even then wasn't wearing a mask over their nose. Some clinicians would take off mask intermittently. They offer tons of colors for gel, and regular nail polish. They also have a lot of cute chrome colors. The owner is always present; I've been here a good amount of times and she's always super sweet to customers. I can tell that she has a lot of regulars because she has a lot of conversations with her customers which is always good. It's a clean facility and the workers are all kind. I like coming in early right when they open (9am). I don't have a specific lady that I go back to, but all of them seem to be good. They take their time and know what they're doing. After they finish your nails, you get a little hand massage which is always a plus. Parking can be a struggle especially because the shop is shared with a bunch of other stores. Pricing is fair as well. I always go in for a gel manicure on my real nails and pay $23 + tip. That's $20 for new gel polish, and $3 for the gel removal. Cash is preferred because they do charge you $1 extra for using debit/credit card. So far they've been consistent with their work so I'll keep coming back! read more

Came here with my mom today and it was such a great experience! She's been here before but it was my first time and Joyce did such a great job on my full set! She is very kind and such a sweet person. Usually whenever I go to get my nails done it's quiet and awkward with the occasional questions like "what shape do you want?" or "how long do you want it?". Joyce was nothing like that, we had a great conversation about so many different things and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I forgot the other woman who did my toes but she was also very sweet and nice!! She did a great job with my pedi and cleaned them up very well. The space is very clean and they have tons of different colors to choose from. They accept card but ask that you tip in cash, so make sure you come prepared! My only complaint is parking, but obviously this salon can't control that. Be prepared to search for a spot! I think there's a Cajun restaurant in the same plaza so the parking spot gets packed easily by them. read more

I will never understand why owners let inexperienced nail techs (if you can even call them that) work on clients when they KNOW they are not skilled yet!!! I ran to this neighborhood nail shop before heading to pick my kids up from school as I've done in the past. It's not a great place and I've visited much nicer shops, but I was in a crunch for time so I decided to stop here for a fill and pedicure. Let's talk Pedi! This woman did not know English, which usually isn't a problem and almost to be expected, but it became an inconvenience when she couldn't understand basic directives, like OUCH! On more than one occasion, I had to yelp out in pain and pull my foot away. Her response, a smile, ​and pat on top of my foot AND she would pull my foot back. Though not intentional, she was very dismissive of my basic desire for a pain-free​ experience. I also paid for a callous removal that was pointless. She applied the gel, let it sit for a minute, and rubbed the arch of my foot!! Ma'am,​ there aren't callouses there. It did nothing and was a waste of an extra $5. I'd post a pic, but no one needs to see that. Her application of the polish was lumpy and uneven as well. When I told her the polish needed thinner, she smiled and again ignored me. While I know it's because she didn't understand, Lisa the English speaking owner was in ear-shot (3 feet away) and said nothing. While my below average pedi was taking place, I had the pleasure (insert eye-roll) of having an older gentleman try his best to do my fill. I will start by saying I don't blame him. I blame the owner that allowed him to work on clients knowing damn well it would end in disaster. I came in with gel over acrylics so he started by removing the gel polish. THIS TOOK HIM 30 minutes. I get my nails done very often and this process usually takes no longer than 10 minutes. He clearly didn't know what he was doing was wasting my time. He finally started to apply the acrylic for the fill and that's when it really started to go downhill. He was so sloppy. He had acrylic all over my cuticles, and under the nail; it was terrible. But not wanting to make a scene in such a small shop, I waited to see how they might look after he filled, shaped and buffed them. Big mistake. Once we started attempting the coffin shape I knew it was a wrap. He had no clue what he was doing. At that point,​ I stopped him and asked another nail tech to help me. I mouthed help, like I was being tortured; because that's what it felt like, and she came over. She took one look at my nails and said something to him (I'm assuming that he'd really messed up) and told me to go get my son and come back and she would DO THEM ALL OVER AGAIN!! What?? At this point,​ I have been here for over an hour and I was expected to bring my toddler back and start all over with a brand new set. The owner then walks over, takes a look and says, "yeah, come back" and cuts all my nails off without asking. My guess is to ensure​ that I would actually come back and not try to doctor them up myself. I paid for my pedicure and left with the nails pictured below. While I appreciate the gesture to fix them, I am very disappointed by the blatant disregard for my time and lack of professionalism. As a working mom, I look forward to this time to get my nails done as a moment to breathe and treat themselves, but Lisa Nails ruined that experience completely. I won't be back and suggest you steer clear as well. read more

So today, i told Julie that last time i went there, one of the manicurists charged me $5 for taking off my nail polish and it wasn't even gel nail polish. This place was terrible. Went and got 3 pedicures, 2 manicures and a fill in and all two of us were disappointed. My nails are short and I know that poses a challenge but the woman that did my manicure painted all over my skin and did not remove it at the end. She also hacked my cuticles and left tons of hangnails. She also did not paint to the edge of the nail and I had to ask her to fill in spots. My friend got a fill in and the guy that did it was very inexperienced, leaving the nail lumpy and not filed down. Also, their prices don't justify the work we got done. My friends fill in and 1 replaced nail cost $28 and mani/pedis cost $25. For a cheap place, my expectations were lower but this experience was not worth the money. My nails turned out so puffy and I asked for coffin shape and it turned into an abstract shape I don't know how that's possible to do. I was treated great when I first started coming here although my perspective of this place has drastically changed. I always get the same service which is a gel acrylic full set and regular pedicure, in occasion I add the foot scrub or design in my nails. They seriously need to take the pricing board off. I don't find any use for it if the prices constantly keep changing. I kept track and expected to be charged the same for certain services although this wasn't the case. The last time I came here which was about a month ago I was charged 80 dollars for something so simple. Which was an acrylic full set no gel and regular pedicure. On top of that I asked the guy to do a design and he got a nail stamp which came out so faded. I asked him if he can please do it again and he ignored my request. My nails were so lumpy and weird. New nail salon in the neighborhood, figured I'd try it out today. I'm giving them 2.5 stars, because they still have a bunch of things they can improve. Let's start with the good things. The salon is only a month and a half old, so everything is brand new and in very good condition. The bathroom is neat and clean. They use a new plastic cover for each customer, to keep the tubs clean. Unfortunately that prevents the jacuzzi to work and I really like my bubbles during a pedi. They offered water, coffee and coke and gave me apples and oranges to munch on. The owner was so sweet, she give me two apples to take home, because I liked them so much. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. What I didn't like too much was how the one lady (not the owner) did my pedicure. She seemed to not have done it much before and didn't ask me at all how I liked my nails cut or if I wanted extra callus removal. When I ordered extra, she scrubbed for 30s and was telling me to put my feet back in the water. Nuh uh, I hadn't had a pedi in 6 weeks, so I really needed those calluses to be taken off. They tried to tell me that I must've not had a pedi in years and they couldn't remove it all in one setting, I should come back every two weeks to slowly get it removed. I'm sorry, but I have never been told something like that. So she kept scrubbing and asked me every minute if it was good enough now, without ever checking herself. I'm used to more professional and experienced service where the person knows how much to take off. Her massage was good, could've lasted a bit longer though. The nail polish application was pretty rushed and unclean and I had red color all over my skin around my toe nails. I will give this place another try and ask for the owner next time. She seemed to know what she was doing. Maybe I can upgrade my rating to a 3 or more after that. read more

I have been from nail shop to nail shop and every place I have been too was good but just not what I was looking for. I can finally say I found my nail salon. Staff is very friendly and welcoming I went in on a Friday around 5:30ish and it was not too busy. when I came in the door I was immediately taken to Wendy to start my nails and let me tell you she is great. Wendy was very gentle with my hands and trust me i have been to places where they are a little too rough and had me jumping from time to time. She took her time and was very detailed in the cut, file, paint job, and design. She always made sure I was ok and was very attentive to my needs and care. I couldn't be more happier with the results of my nails. P.s. I got a Gel Manicure with two designs. Rough estimate was 26 dollars not a bad price to beat. Just keep in mind that it's not a set price for everyone. Pricing does vary depending if you want regular or gel, one two three or 4 designs etc..., length, acrylics and so on.
