Her team answers your questions quickly and clearly and if there are any issues, they get resolved. Insurance coverage can sometimes be confusing so it's good to know you can call and get the answers you need. Lisa Trapp and the rest of the State Farm team at the Encinitas location have completely blown me away by their genuine care and support for their clients. I have never experienced a company with such an exceptional level of customer service. I have been a client of Lisa's for four years now, and she is constantly going above and beyond to make sure that I am satisfied, keep me posted on my insurance policy, and offer suggestions and pointers for her genuine and truthful evaluation on my current vehicle's policy options. She calls in to check in with me (and I assume with all of her clients) on a monthly basis to make sure that I am content with my current policy package or if I wish to change anything. When COVID-19 hit, and turned the world up-side down for everyone, I got a call from Lisa, asking me if I was okay. When I informed her that I had temporarily lost my job due to the pandemic, Lisa assured me that everything was going to be okay and we could hold off for the next few months on my auto insurance payments, and set up a payment plan for the future when I started to receive my unemployment benefits. Not only that, but she told me she would break down the payments into smaller portions and pay everything back over-time with no late-fees nor interest rates so that I would not get hit with one big lump-sum bill once I started working again. After informing Lisa I had temporarily lost my job and was in quarantine for the un-foreseeable future, she took it a step further, going above and beyond when she asked me if I would be driving as much in the midst of a pandemic. When I told her that I was not planning to, she offered me a suggestion to lower my coverage protection plan for the time being, as I was rarely on the road. After carefully evaluating, and clearly stating the temporary changes she would be making to lower my costs, and what that would mean if god-forbid anything were to happen if I was driving, she was able to cut my rates in HALF, saving me $60 per month during this difficult time. This was huge for me. Lisa's thoughtfulness amazed me yet again, when I opened up an envelope from State-Farm addressed to me and delivered to my house. Lisa had taken the time to write a kindheartedly, hand-written message inside reading, "Just want you to know...we are thinking of you during these crazy times. If you find yourself near our office before 1pm, drive through Lil Jungle Java and grab a coffee or treat on us. With love, Lisa Trapp. No other company, business, bank, or establishment I have ever been a customer for has gone out of their way to do something so kind for all of their clients. I have also heard that during this pandemic, her and her team have been donating food, clothing, and trying to help people in need any way they can. This act of kindness goes far beyond "customer service" expectations. Lisa authentically cares about her clients. She cares about people. In the world we live in today, when we see time and time again businesses putting profitability from "consumers" over the lives and well-being of real people, Lisa has restored my faith in humanity, and is an exemplary role-model, exhibiting what our society could be like if everyone in the work-force treated people with genuine kindness, placing morals like compassion and empathy for all human beings over corporate greed and money. I have recommended Lisa Trapp to all of my closest friends and family out in San Diego, and have suggested that they all switch over to State-Farm Insurance.
