I found Lisa on Yelp and booked an appointment which was easy through the Yelp app. My usual stylist is in SoCal area and I haven't had time to fly back to see him so I went to Lisa and I'm so glad I did! I didn't have any photos of what I wanted because I wasn't exactly sure - but I just talked to her - things I liked/hoped for (lighter, brighter hair), shorter, but not too short, stands out a little but not too dramatic, etc. She was awesome in figuring me out and I love my hair! I have been on the hunt for an A+++ hair colorist and stylist in Arizona now for about 2 years. The universe sent me Lisa Von Kurvink and I couldn't be more pleased. They say the third time is always a charm and I would have to agree that it definitely is! Usually when you go to a stylist they either specialize in color or cut. What an amazing experience. I am so hesitant to do anything with my hair, because it rarely feels like "me" when I leave. I started coloring my brownish/auburn hair copper-red a couple of years ago at another salon and I loved it, but was ready to go back to natural to slowly embrace my greys! I was settling in for a long couple of years to slog back to natural and I found Lisa online. I'm very nervous and uncomfortable in salons trying to explain what I want and she was so patient and attentive. She is magic with hair.
