Text! - so easy! I got an appointment with Nichole who happens to be the owner too. I don't know what I was expecting but was blown away when I walked in and the waiting area had gorgeous big sofa's with stylish mirrors above, the check in desk has a few items for sale including brow pencils and the shelves at the back are full of brow make up, fake tan products and different waxes. I went through to the service room and it is very comfortable and well decorated. There was a cool print of James Dean on the wall. I was diggin' the vibes. I filled in a form as a new customer which asked about redness or breakouts etc. Because of the answers I gave she chose a tea tree wax which prevents breakouts after waxing. She mentioned she stocks like 20 types of waxes as she is a waxing specialist. Not just for her recommendations but also some people have a favourite brand so she likes to stock all the best products. After a pain free wax and brow tint we had a good old chat before I left. She recommended products (in conversation not in a pushy way) on how to achieve certain looks, perfect the arch and be able to keep the look up at home. I was so impressed and the price was completely reasonable too. I don't even mind driving to Sherwood Park for the service. For a brow wax it totally exceeded my expectations!

I booked myself and my four bridesmaids in to get our hair done for my wedding day. Christina was very helpful with the booking process and recommending the amount of time we would need to get ready. I had my hair trial about a month and a half before the wedding when I was in town, and I was so impressed with my stylist. My hair was perfect on the first try, and she was able to bring my vision to life while tailoring it to my features. I was a bit nervous on the big day that everything would go smoothly and we would be on time. I had nothing to worry about. We were finished around 20 minutes earlier than Christina estimated. Our stylists were super personable, kind and fun. We decided to get our hair done at the salon, and you get mimosas and snacks, which was a really nice touch. Most importantly, everyone loved their hair!! I was so pleased that everyone loved it. Pictures looked awesome. Thank you Icon for making my hair look so perfect for my wedding day!

There is no reason given, and although I understand things happen and come up, it doesn't reflect well on the business if I can't rely on them to consistently make their appointments. Not to mention their own cancellation policy requires 24 hours in advance. Although I intend to return to get my haircut this time, I'm not sure that I will continue to come back if appointments keep getting moved like this.

They've implemented new measures to keep the space safe in accordance with social distancing guidelines, and while I was there I've seen them sanitize all surfaces multiple times. At a time when every social interaction comes with a bit of paranoia, it was the most worry-free, safe, friendly, and lovely experience. 12/10, will always recommend this salon to everyone!
