Best Pizza EVER!

This was the best pizza my son and I have ever had! Crisp crust and they were NOT shy with the toppings! Let's not even talk about how this amazing pizza with a ton of fresh toppings was only $10!!!!!!! Customer for life!

Wow! My very first visit and I already love this place! Very well staffed. All the Staff is very friendly and helpful! The whole place is very clean and well organised. Even the bathrooms are neat and clean and tidy. All the fixtures are hands-free automated! There are so many good food choices and they're very generous with the portions. You can get pizza or calzones, or both! There are premade salads too! They also have gluten-free options which is a huge plus for me! They have several signature options or you can build your own. I got the 'Get Lit' Pizza with a gluten free crust, which is their version of a Supreme. It has Lots of yummy stuff on it! And you can still add on more for no extra cost. The red Lit sauce is sooooo good and is gluten-free! The crust is perfectly crispy throughout the entire crust. The cost is alot lower than other places too! I totally recommend this place over other local pizza places. They also play really good music!! The people here are really, really friendly and made us feel very welcome. It's over in the Kroger Shopping Center right off Nelson street by Nothing Bundt Cakes!!! You have to go!! You will be sooooo glad you did!!

Ordered a calzone. Was good but man was it salty. Could have just been a mistake but that's my experience.

While looking for a backup, I came across this place. I was surprised to find that they provided a variation of counter service instead of table service. We ordered at the counter, received a number and the staff later brought the food to us. However, with the beer, we ordered at a different counter and brought it back to the table ourselves. This was a while back, so I'm not sure if things have changed since then. Seating was available indoors (2 levels) and outdoors, complete with live music. We ordered the eagle wings & fries, margherita pizza and pretzels & beer cheese. The chicken wings were dry and the pizza crust was less than desirable. The pretzels were salty, but better once the salt was dusted off. The beer cheese was interesting but not my favorite. Overall, I didn't care for the food. The atmosphere was lively, but I wouldn't return just for that. There's 26 photos that should post with this review.

It's a super awesome setup with ample parking and great walk up. We had premade reservations via Open Table. They aren't required but we did just in case they were busy. Our server was Megan, who made great recommendations and was super helpful. (Ask for her!) Anywho... We ordered Parmesan crusted fries to start with me having the Barrel and Bough for a starter drink, and Honey had a Lake front Lager. He described it as being light and delicious. The Barrel and Bough was chefs kiss... a welcome spin on my favorite Old Fashioned. He ordered the I-10 Smash Burger with a truffle Fries, and I went for the chicken and sausage gumbo, with a side of brown butter mashed potatoes. The meal was excellent. Honey wasn't super impressed with the smash burger, but it was great presentation with good flavor. I, however, devoured my gumbo. It was the perfect blend with spice but a hint of sweet. Reminded me of my mother's gumbo and that's hard to beat!!!! We finished the meal with a cup of coffee. We got cans of Fruit Stand blend to go, and we loved it. We will for sure be back for more trips to enjoy their delish faire of foods. It is seafood heavy but there are options for vegans and burgers available as well. Overall... chefs kiss and a salute to the chef!

The Scene I've really tried to like Tony's. My family and I…read morehave visited at least five times over the past three years, hoping each visit would be the one that changed our minds. The restaurant itself is fairly basic, but one thing that has always stood out is the parking situation. There are only a handful of spots near the entrance, including a single handicap space, which can make pickup inconvenient. My first visit set a less-than-great tone. I ordered online and pulled into the drive-thru line, assuming I could pick up my order there. When I reached the window, I was told - rather emphatically - that online orders had to be picked up inside. As a mobility-impaired veteran, having to park in the back, walk through the rain, and retrieve a to-go order wasn't exactly the welcome I was hoping for. The Eats Unfortunately, the food has been inconsistent across our visits. The first pizza we ordered had an extremely thin crust that ended up soggy in the middle. On another visit, we tried the appetizer sampler and pizza. The pizza was actually much better that time, but the appetizers were overcooked. The mozzarella sticks, in particular, had reached the point where the cheese inside had become rubbery and dried out. Today, we stopped in for lunch and ordered a shrimp po'boy and lasagna. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the po'boy and had no complaints. My lasagna, however, was a struggle. The sauce was sparse, leaving the dish tasting mostly like heavily seasoned meat and cheese. After a few bites, I couldn't continue. Everyone's taste buds are different, but the balance of flavors just didn't work for me. The Service Service has been hit-or-miss over the years. We've had some perfectly fine interactions, but that first pickup experience has always stuck with me. A little flexibility - or at least a friendlier explanation - would have gone a long way. Parting Thoughts After multiple visits over several years, I think it's finally time for me to accept that Tony's just isn't my place. That's not to say others won't enjoy it - clearly they have a loyal following - but the inconsistency in the food and some less-than-memorable service experiences have kept us from becoming regulars. My husband would probably order the shrimp po'boy again, but for me, this was my last attempt. Sometimes a restaurant and a customer just aren't the right match.

Tony's Pizza in Lake Charles, La. is a must when you visit!…read more We always stop by! Best po boys, pizzas, etc. Great service, excellent food, and adorable Italian decor! Love the ambiance. I've always loved their side salad - really all of them, and it's normally a favorite of everyone's until recently. They have replaced their yummy iceberg mix lettuce with the darkest green leaves and everyone I know doesn't like it. I truly hope they go back because we are all saying no more salads from Tonys!

There is a section to the side that does not have a good view of TV screens so make sure to indicate if you want a tv view when you arrive. They took us to a table initially on the side and we asked for a better view and they switched us tables, which was great! Food - we ordered the eight count chicken wings, which was more than enough for both of us because it's the whole wing, basically two pieces each. We also ordered the fries which are like potato wedge swirls and were lightly seasoned, which was good. Lastly we ordered the bourbon peach cobbler... Didn't taste a lot of bourbon and it definitely needed more bready texture but it was still good. I would say it's more like a peach pie.

The service was still slow (all casino restaurants seem to be super slow), but the food quality and quantity made up for it. I didn't get a photo of my friend's chicken wings, but OH MY! They were huge! Like carnival food huge. He said they were delicious too. I recommend the BLT - messy but delicious, the sliders (comes with 3), or the hot dogs. All very filling and could be split with someone or take what you don't finish to go. It gets loud in there on game day. We were there on a Friday and then again on a Saturday. Loud, but fun!

This is definitely going on the date night list!…read more The Scene Villa Harlequin gives a more upscale, intimate dining experience - the vibe feels both classic and local at the same time. It's the kind of place you go for a nice dinner, date night, or when you just want to slow down and enjoy a full meal. The Eats We started with drinks - my husband had The Italiano, which was smooth and well-balanced, and I went with a Hedges Family Wine, which paired nicely with dinner. For the meal: My husband had a house salad and the pan-seared fish, which was cooked well and complemented by the kind of rich, flavorful sauces they're known for. I went with the wedge salad and the surf & turf, and listen...this is where they shine. The surf & turf is a standout - steak paired with seafood and a bold, flavorful sauce that leans into that fusion they're known for. Everything came out well-prepared, plated nicely, and felt like a complete dining experience rather than just a quick meal. The Service Service was attentive and polished without being overbearing. Drinks stayed filled, courses came out at a comfortable pace, and the staff made sure everything flowed smoothly. It matched the overall feel of the restaurant - thoughtful and consistent. Parting Thoughts Between the cocktails, the wine, and standout dishes like the surf & turf, it delivers a well-rounded experience. Definitely a solid choice for a nice night out in Lake Charles - and one I'd return to when I'm in the mood for something a little more elevated.
