They have many options - you could strictly do the driving range or choose from courses with varying difficulty levels. After each swing, it lets you know your stats. They also have clubs available if you do not have your own. With two televisions inside, you do not have to worry about missing any of the sports games either. I also loved that it was bring your own food and drink. There are so many great restaurants within walking distance that offer take out - we ordered some apps from 75 Center (I recommend).

My fiancé and I are beginners, and his mom plays more often, but we all had fun! There were plenty of different courses to pick from that are fitting for a range of skill levels. I really appreciated that they provided takeout menus from nearby restaurants and provided a nice area where you can spread out some food, sit, and relax. We were able to rent their golf clubs for free, and the hour and a half rental time was perfect for the 3 of us. This was a great winter activity, and we'll be keeping it in mind for the summer too if we want to stay out of the heat!

I used a hodgepodge of my dad's clubs and my uncle's. The TaylorMade driver was straight as an arrow and hit straight and long where I wanted it. The chipping in this thick New England grass (rough) was another story. I think TEE BOXES were in pretty good shape. The CARTS have nice navigations systems. The course is a bit dry for early October so clearly, they did not see enough rain this year. Some fairways were a little chewy/patchy. The GREENS were in very nice shape. I had a better day there excluding that they were as fast as California which I did not anticipate but should have given the drier conditions. This is the best short course in this area and well beyond with some legit challenging holes and a diverse layout with sloping hills. Nothing boring to speak of my friends. The CLUBHOUSE is beautiful, and dad says the food keeps getting better and better.

It's not a 5-Star resort golf range but it offers the services you need to work on your drive. They also have a small miniature golf area too. The owner seems very sociable when a conversation was started with him by other pateons. Prices are VERY reasonable and I was able to get some more use out of my clubs before the winter hit. It wasnt very busy when I went after work so I was able to spread out far enough to socially distance. It's easy to get to and it's right off a main road the leads right in/out of Waterbury. If you are looking a quick and low priced place to stop to work on your swing, Prospect Driving Range isn't a bad option. I will definetly be back again when the weather gets warm again.

Unfortunately the two women who run the place were rude, micro-managed our experience, and made everyone in our party feel uncomfortable. My 9 year old son was choosing a putter, and one woman directed him to one that was too short for him. When he politely told her he would like the longer one (he plays golf; he knows how long his putter should be), she told him no and he needed the shorter one. He repeated himself and she condescendingly insisted. I finally jumped in and told him he could choose whatever putter he wanted to use, and she backed off. By the way, I've played golf for 35 years - he was correct. When our group was playing a bit slow, one of the women approached us. Instead of kindly and respectfully asking us to speed up, she instead brought a second scorecard and passive-aggesssively said "your other group already finished. It'll take you at least 45 minutes to finish at the pace you're playing. I brought you another scorecard in case you want to split up into two groups." First of all, splitting up does not speed up mini golf. Second, we finished in approximately 13 minutes. Third, there was nobody within 2 holes of us. Maybe just leave us alone instead of ruining our experience for no reason? Also, nobody doesn't return to a mini golf course because someone in front of them is playing slowly. But nobody returns after that type of experience. A few other things happened after we finished, but I'm tired of writing about these people. Not recommended.

All the employees we encountered were very friendly. After a round, we dined downstairs in their outdoor space and the food was pretty good. There are token machines on the premises to give you golf balls. However, there's no one present to take your money to get the tokens. There's no machine to take your cash to give you the tokens. So you drive all the way there, only to find out you can't get any golf balls to hit. Total waste of time. I went on the web and got the telephone number for the business. I called the telephone number only to find out it's no longer in service.
