Unfortunately, the tone felt condescending rather than supportive, which led to more frustration. Clear and upfront communication is essential, especially when it comes to pricing. I had to request to talk. My first dog suffered prior to death due to a poor downplayed diagnosis. My second just last week had to be put down after another poor downplayed diagnosis which my dog was critical for anemia. Instead of sending me directly to the emergency room I got repeat x rays, blood tests and ulcer pills that did nothing but poor exit performance in my house. Once in the ER I was directed that it was to late and advised to put him down. He may not have been saved but they did not help having me sit around and wait 5 days until he was critical. Their actions were counter productive. Besides my lose I have to live with the fact I may have not done everything I could to save him. He was only 6. Do not depend on them for any critical care.
