Purchased a 2015 Roush Mustang from them. 1 week later I started hearing a slight clunk when shifting (manual). 1 week after that...broken axle. Ok...got to pay to play, but I'm willing to bet this was a known issue). I get it. I go to pull the broken axle out and discover.....locking lug nuts. Search the car. No key. Call them up "Hey where's the key?". Eric said he would check with the shop. Calls me back, sorry, no key. "I don't know what to tell you. I don't know how long it would take to drill those out". I just laughed and said he knew very well how long it would take (A LONG time). Right away...no offer for support, nothing to rectify the issue. On top of that, after purchasing, I noticed they added a bit onto the purchase price that I missed while making the deal (trade-in). I'll never purchase from them again and I'll recommend to my followers on youtube and to my friends who come to me for purchasing advice not to buy from them. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! From the moment I bought the 2014 Kia Rio, it has been one thing after another. Wouldn't start, belts breaking, engine overheating, fan wouldn't shut off, bad battery, headlight issues. I made 3 calls to them and was just told to take it to a mechanic. I was upfront from the start that funds were limited and did not want a lemon. I was assured it was thoroughly looked over and was in good shape. I have already put thousands into it in just a few months - and the most recent nightmare is a leaking head gasket which costs more than the car is worth. I was told they would do NOTHING about it. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone! I bought a car from them 2 months ago, took it to get inspected and my mechanic found out the frame is rotted. This vehicle should NEVER been sold to anyone. If I would have gotten into an accident the frame wouldn't of held and the car would of crumpled like an accordion. I had a great experience overall! They were kind and not pushy. The salesman that worked with me was filling in for the regular salesman, but he was really helpful. After I purchased the car and took it to my auto body shop, they did say that the front axles were damaged which Lititz had not informed me of. I called them and asked if it would be covered under warranty, but the owner said it was not. However, Tanner offered to get me the parts at a low cost and do the labor at half price. It ended up costing a quarter of the price that I was quoted at my auto body shop! They were very accommodating of my schedule and the repairs were quick. read more

The salesmen at Lititz Motorcar are very kind, professional, and easy going people. The facade they present is very good. However, I purchase a Honda Civic 2004 from them in July and ever since then I have been running into multiple problems with my car. Prior to purchasing the car, I asked the dealers if there were any problems with the car that I needed to be aware of so that I could take care of it. I asked multiple times if the car was alright and each time they reassured me that there was nothing wrong. After one week, the battery in the car died. I was able to get it jumped and bring it in to a nearby Pepboys. After further checking out the situation with the car, I was told that my Oil Pan gasket was leaking oil and that it needed to be replaced. The car also needed a serious alignment. The replacement of the battery, the alignment, and the oil pan gasket came to a total cost of $850. Within the same week, my SRS light on my dashboard came on. After a week or two, I was able to bring it in to a Honda Dealership (who are only able to diagnose and repair SRS issues). The SRS issue will be fixed for free. HOWEVER, a deep, complete, diagnosis was done and now my car has an additional $2000 of repairs that need to be done (timing belt replacement, filter replacements, several flushes, and bushings replacements). This is my first car and now having to handle approximately $3000 of repair costs after asking if there were any problems with the car prior to buying it really makes me fearful with any car purchases in the future. In addition, when asking questions about the car, I brought up the possibility of the car getting detailing and I was told that the car had been detailed. The interior of the car smelt strongly of mustard and covered in dirt. I even found dried baby food in the passenger back pocket! Stains everywhere in the cloth and rugs and the dashboard was grimy. I understand that Lititz Motorcar has handle a lot with it's constant turn over of cars and the staff is more family-based than company-based with the number of people employed. I do wish that quality was the primary goal instead of quantity. read more

Update . I'm Happy to say that the owner honored the listing price and my client purchased the car . In addition the windshield was replaced and the radio was replaced . Correct on the millage it was 99,600 not 100k.. On tues April 1st my client and I came to this dealership looking to purchase a 2009 Nissan Altima listed with 99,000 miles & clean for $6998. My client had been speaking with Justin the sale manager for Motorcar. So upon arriving Justin greeted us with a warm smile & great handshake... He had been expecting my client from their previous conversation, and knew what vehicle he was interested in.. Once he made a copy of his license , we where free to inspect the car & go on a test drive. Upon walking up to the vehicle there was a quarter size crack in the windshield ,ever panel on the car had dents, scratches ,or chips in the paint. Now the interior of the car radio screen wasnt legible and would also need replace. The mileage was 100,600 miles !!! Next popping the hood, the car barely had any coolant and it was 90 degrees . We made sure to grab the other sales Manger Eric to show him . Eric agreed it was low, but enough in it to drive... Our concern was that , we didnt want the engine to get too hot & risk blowing a head gasket and we be blamed for it. This truly bothered me because it showed a disregards for the vehicle we where considering buy. The test drive went great, the car drove smooth and we decide , that we wanted to buy it. We spoke with Justin once back at the dealership and went over all the issues the car had. Justin seemed unaware of all the issues. We offered $6000 cash for the car & was declined by the owner who Justin had to call . We thank him for his time , I gave him my business card and took his requesting that if the price came down please give us a call. Later that evening while exiting my truck, the keys for the Altima was on the floor of my passenger side and my client accidentally to them. I called Motorcar immediately to let them know , and left a voicemail asking Justin to give me a call. Justin called back within the hour &I let him know I had the keys for the car. Yet to my surprise he didnt even know we had them!!! He already had called the locksmith, to have the car re keyed on Wed. I assured him I would rearrange my business day for wed and drive another hour back to the dealership to ensure he would have the keys by Noon. Wed Aug 2nd, After driving another 1hr back to the dealership where we spoke with Justin and asked him then how long had car been at the dealership & was informed over 30 days. We asked if he would call the owner Ken Gingrich again. To our surprise we could hear him yelling through the phone, being totally rude and disrespectful to his employee . He came down to $6300 and we declined the offer.. Yet hours later the car was listed sale $ 5999. Today !Thurs Aug 3rd I just got off the phone with Ken and of course , the new price was and "ERROR" and since yesterday they fixed a bunch of thing LOL yeah right .. He wants now $6500!!! Went to look at cars here, saw a few that we wanted to test drive. The one car had a really bad sound in the engine when we drove it so we decide to test drive on of the others. We really liked this one car and they were going to service it and inspect it and whatever before we were able to take it home. We have been waiting 2 weeks now, for this car to be Services and they haven't called us to tell us what's going on, we have to call them multiple times. When we called today, the owner was very rude and disrespectful about us always calling. We put money down on this car to hold it for us and we were just waiting around. Very disappointed, we were also told that it was going to be another week that we would have to wait. We now have given up on this car and start the process all over again to try to find a car for myself.. read more

We had a very unfortunate experience with Lititz Motorcar. We purchased a vehicle from them in June 2019. We attempted to negotiate the price, but Justin, the salesperson, told us that if we negotiate they will not inspect/fix needed issues with the car prior to us purchasing it. We opted to have them Inspect it so that they would HOPEFULLY catch any issues PRIOR to us purchasing a vehicle from them. Unfortunately, despite them supposedly inspecting the vehicle, we have had nothing but problems since purchasing it. Two weeks after purchasing it, the problems started - after driving it for a little while on the highway, it would no longer go over 50 mph. After getting it checked out by a Nissan Dealership, we were told that the transmission was bad and were quoted $4500 to fix it. We addressed this issue with Lititz Motorcar in hopes that they would make it right and they asked to do their own check of the vehicle. The fix they suggested, a computer update of the transmission (which did not end up fixing the issue) they were unable to do on site. We ended up having to have the transmission fluid flushed by another mechanic who told us it was the dirtiest he had ever seen. Since these initial issues, we have had several others come up which shouldn't not have happened in the months we had that vehicle and should have been addressed at the time of the "inspection" that was done before us purchasing the car. To top it off, we test drove the car and it was supposedly inspected in June, but we realized several months later that the inspection sticker was still from May. Whether or not they inspected it thoroughly or at all, I'm not sure. However, $1,000+ in fixes later, we will not be returning to Lititz Motorcar and we would strongly suggest you look elsewhere when car shopping read more
