Set up for Bowie tribute band. 11.5.22

Saw Hazy Cosmic Jive a Bowie tribute band. Great show in a a great venue. I will be back.

Delicious Flight (thanks Jared B)

I met someone in the airport in Orlando and we talked about our favorite brews. He really liked Collusion in Lititz. Really glad that I had the chance to try the food and beer. My cousin had a reubin and I had a chicken/something (both accompanied with tator tots). We will be back! They were busy so once it slowed a bit Jared made beer suggestions that were right on for me.

We were very excited to step into this beautifully restored three story brewpub/restaurant/event space. On the ground floor sits Collusion Tap Works with beer brewed in York, PA. Go up the steps to the second floor for dining and a second bar area as well as a small stage for live music. Up another flight to floor 3 you'll find an art space with paintings currently in progress and you can peer down from the 3rd floor to the second floor so the music and action can be seen and heard from two floors. After checking out this fantastically restored shirt factory building from the early 1900's we secured a table for four on the ground floor at Collusion Taproom which has 16 beers on tap and cans to go- and we ordered 4 different hazy IPA's. All were quite good. Bartender was friendly and the joint was hopping on a Saturday afternoon. It's tucked into Juniper Way off Main St and you'll see Lititz Shirt Factory painted on the brick outside. Men's shirts really were made here in the early 1900's! Such history fabulously restored. Weddings, reunions and events of up to 150 guests can be booked here. Another fab place to visit when you're sightseeing in the magical town of Lititz, PA in Lancaster County.

Hey guys, check out this awesome new entertainment and music venue. Amazing! I had such a great time.

Great reuse of a shirt factory! Has a pub serving Collusion Tapworks beers and a floor for music events and other parties.

We tried beers in at least 3 other pubs in Lititz and Lancaster and liked the Collusion Tap Works brews the best by far.

My wife got their regular burger and it was cooked to her liking. Eventhough it was not cooked how I prefer, it still tasted good! The fries tasted very very good! I love a shoestring fry! Unfortunately, they charge an extra 6 dollars to upgrade from chips to fries with their burger. The mozzarella sticks were out of this world. This was a very good bang for your buck. Homemade and handbreaded, they were massive. You get two for 8 dollars. The prices here are very high. To put it in perspective, if you go here and get two burgers, upgrade to fries for both burgers, and get two waters, your bill is going to be $48 dollars plus tax.... The decor and scenery in here is incredible! It looks awesome. The seating is very limited. Make sure you get a reservation ahead of time. We went at 430 and about half the tables were blocked off for reservations. Would definitely like to come back here and try different items, every dish that went by looked delicious!

Enjoyable cocktails too (themed around musical artists, for the most part). We mainly ordered individual pizzas at the table - spicy calabrese and truffle mushroom pizzas among them. I tried both and would recommend either. The truffle mushroom pizza wasn't overwhelmed by the truffle oil and was well balanced with herb ricotta and arugula. Comparatively, the hot honey, roasted red peppers, and red onions on the spicy calabrese pizza offered a balance in texture from the crunch of the onions - and just a hint of kick from the hot honey. Delicious. There's a walkway behind the dining area that includes photographs from some of the tours and shows that Rock Lititz has helped with the stage design for, which is also fun to see. I can assume this place can get pretty packed at times, but it was very chill during our visit and I only wish I had been able to go back again for bunch or dinner or something. Maybe on my next visit!

The setting is absolutely beautiful. Their outdoor terrace overlooks a scenic garden area that looks like it might even host weddings--it's that picturesque. The ambiance is peaceful, charming, and ideal for a relaxing weekend meal, whether you've just finished a bike ride or are simply looking for a quiet dining spot in Marietta. The menu had a lot of fresh, well-crafted options, and the cocktail list was fun and inventive. I tried the lavender lemon drop, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well the lavender complemented the classic citrusy flavor--an elegant twist on a traditional drink. For dinner, I went with the jalapeño cheddar burger, which was flavorful, juicy, and made with noticeably fresh ingredients. The fries were crisp and satisfying, while my mom and sister-in-law each opted for different sandwiches paired with house salads. They raved about the house-made vinaigrette, which had a fresh, tangy balance. We also started with the whipped feta dip and gouda mac and cheese--both were delicious. The feta was creamy and flavorful, and the mac had a rich, smoky bite to it. Our Entrees looked so delicious that I forgot to snap a photo beforehand. Service was excellent. Our waitress was knowledgeable about both the food and drink menus, and her suggestions were spot on. In terms of value, I was really impressed. With so many places these days serving tiny portions at high prices, Railroad House Inn stands out as a restaurant that delivers quality, fresh ingredients, and generous portions at a fair price. All in all, this was a five-star experience. Great food, beautiful location, warm service--I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, especially after enjoying the nearby Northwest Lancaster County River Trail.

When we were seated, we were given the prix fixe food menu but never provided with a drink menu. We were served water, but our waitress didn't ask if we'd like cocktails, wine, or any featured Valentine's drinks. For a special occasion dinner, that felt like a major oversight. The bigger issue, though, was the food. Several courses were noticeably undercooked and difficult to enjoy. The carrot salad had hard, undercooked carrots and a very bitter sauce that overwhelmed the dish. The grilled Badger Flame beets were also undercooked and had an unpleasant flavor. The beet risotto was firm and lacked the creamy consistency you expect from a properly prepared risotto. The halibut tasted overly fishy and seemed undercooked in the center. For $75 per person on Valentine's Day, we expected a polished, thoughtfully executed experience. Instead, the meal felt poorly prepared and not worth the price. It was an unsatisfying way to spend what should have been a special evening. The ambiance was very nice but the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired.

This was my 2nd time coming to Mad Chef!…read more The first time I came here was about 2 years ago (before doing yelp reviews). I was not very impressed. This time around I cannot complain! Their specials are all revolving around the Masters which was unique! We tried the Pimento, Fried Green Tomato, Chicken Sandwich (The Pimento Birdie). This was a delicious sandwich that just screams Georgia! We also tried the Madfather Chicken Sandwich! Pesto, Vodka Sauce, Mozzarella, this thing was outstanding! The fries are always a highlight here! We got the bucket (had a bigger group) and it came with 3 sauces. 1 tiny little knock on the fry bucket....the entire bucket was not filled with fries. The bottom of the fry bucket had about an inch or 2 of crinkled up paper..... All of the food was outstanding. The beer was good. Tons of space and seating. Very easy ordering process. Go up to the counter, tell them your table number, and your food arrives shortly! Prices are high here! Expect a larger number on your check if consuming both food and alcohol!

Maybe what I smelled upon walking inside Mad Chef, were hops; I'm unsure. There was a lingering, unpleasant scent (hay/old peanut shells, an earthy staleness). When my food arrived, the scent dissipated. I purposely took a picture of the fish, on my fried fish sandwich, to illustrate what $17 and some change, looks like - very thin. The fish fry was tasty, slightly undercooked, soft crusted and soft bun, fresh condiments and those "pickles" were stellar. They were the best part of my meal. I would seriously purchase a jar of those pickles. Was wary of how hot honey would mesh with a pepperoni pizza, but surprisingly, the sweet heat and the savoriness of the pepperonis, worked well together. The only miss and it's a pretty big "miss," was the paper thin, tasteless crust, acting only as a vehicle to hold the toppings. Suggest you improve the crust and then, you'll have a stellar pie. Loved the peach bread pudding with brown sugar ice cream, but once again, for the price; the portion was skimpy. Liked the touch of homemade whipped cream, but it was overly whipped (stiff and tasteless), making it actually, impalatable.

Came here on a Monday just after 10:30am and they honored our breakfast order. The lunch menu starts promptly at 11am so this was really nice of them. The place is so cute! It's got a country/hipster vibe. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a bar! :) My one issue with breakfast was that I asked for butter and was given butter packets. We came here thinking we were having fresh Amish butter, nope! - What a disappointment! Ugh. The reason why I'm giving this place 3 stars is because of the weird smell. Walking in I thought maybe we walked in right after a gassy person but as we walked through the restaurant to the back the smell was still consistent. We got to the table and the smell seemed to go away or at least we got used to it. At one point I had to use the bathroom and while walking around to find it, the smell hit me first. I was able to smell my way there. Once walking out I was sick. My husband also had to use the e bathroom but the smell was too strong for him so we went stopped elsewhere. The place has a smell that's a mixture of plug-ins and poop. It's the weirdest thing. I'm not sure if they were having sewer issues today or what happened. It seemed like they were definitely aware of the issue because the smell of several plug-ins or air fresheners was obvious. I'd like to give this place another try since the ambiance, food, and staff were all great but the odor is a dealbreaker for me. I guess I'd have to go back & see if this issue gets resolved, if not, I would not stay a second time.
