Saturday Brunch at this elegant southern Italy restaurant was amazing. The exterior of this historic Lititz building is deceiving, when you enter the restaurant it is bright and airy. We ordered Brussels sprouts and the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. And for main courses, the "egg, sausage&cheese"breakfast sandwich; and arugula salad. Sprouts were crispy and the pancakes were like having dessert first. The focaccia bread that the sandwich was made with was soft and fresh. Only improvements suggestion, Americano coffee was like warm; it should be served hot. We will return to try other items on the menu. read more

6/19/2026 A less than perfect anniversary dinner experience. We were looking forward to this dinner, as we had a really nice brunch there in December, but we were largely disappointed. The restaurant was very busy at 7 PM on a Friday, and can be pretty noisy. Fortunately, we were guided to a table in a spot somewhat secluded from the noise, so we were able to talk, at least. (We were seated in a corner with three other couples also celebrating anniversaries.) Our server Brad was pleasant, introduced us to the menu and provided water. The menu is new for Spring. It focuses on pasta dishes, with only four Secondi: fish, beef, Cornish game hen and lamb. Pasta dishes are entree size, but available as primi, except for the risotto. (The difference in price between the two sizes was surprisingly small.) If you want bread with your meal, you must pay extra. Brad took our drink orders and returned with a nice amuse bouche, my Basil Hayden dark rye (not an overwhelming selection of whiskeys at the bar) and B's negroni. We each had a glass of a nice Barbera red wine with our entrees. I decided on the zucchini blossoms for an antipasti, B for the grilled Spring veggies. Both were fine. Unfortunately, the plates and flatware with which they were served lingered on the table throughout the meal. We finally asked that the plates be removed, but it was clear we were expected to use the same knife and fork for our entire meal. (Sorry, but this is a pet peeve of mine. I expect clean tableware for each course in a fine dining restaurant. Flatware test: Fail.) B deferred on pasta, but I ordered a primi portion of the Bucatini Amatriciana. The dish was delicious, but served with no spoon. I cannot understand why a restaurant doesn't offer a spoon for any dish that has a sauce, but this was long pasta! How does one twirl without a spoon? The mains were probably the most disappointing. I ordered the Carne Arristuta (flank steak) with espresso crust and lemon brown butter beet purée. The steak was fine but the purée was tasteless and contributed nothing to the dish. B ordered Branzino, which came with fregola and a fennel and Spring pea purée. Her purée was likewise tastless (how can fennel be tasteless?), and it and the fregola added nothing to the dish. Both entrees just seemed poorly conceived. We were given complementary Cannoli for our anniversary, espresso and Café Americano. Service was attentive, but it took some time to get our water refilled. When the check came, B noticed we had been overharged for her Branzino, which we had corrected. The setting is nice, but at these prices (over $200), I expect something more special. read more

We had not been in Lititz for a few years and decided to stop here for a Saturday brunch at 11 o'clock when they opened. We did not have a reservation for three people, and they do highly suggest reservations because they get busy especially for weekend brunch. Because we arrived right when they opened, we were able to get a table as walk-ins. It's a very nice looking place inside and we had been here when it was a previous bar restaurant a few years back. They do have some brunch, cocktails such as mimosas, bloody Mary's and Bellini's. There is a full bar. I had a frittata with sausage, someone else in my party had the vegetable frittata and a salad and someone else had the egg and cheese, breakfast sandwich and the fingerling potatoes. The coffee was only lukewarm and they had forgot to bring milk, but that was fine, not that much of a biggie but of course you do like your coffee to be hot. Our frittatas came with fresh baked bread, which was very good except there was no butter or oil or anything offered so we did ask for oil and they brought us a oil and balsamic dip for the bread which was nice. They do make their breads and their pasta in house. We would definitely stop back again if we were in the area. You can park on the street outside although the meters need to be fed every 1 1/2 hours so we had to leave and go outside and put more money in the meter in order to finish brunch. read more

A lovely, bright restaurant that I'm looking forward to visiting again. The food was delicious, starting with the pillowy focaccia. I enjoyed a special pasta with bucatini and lamb meatballs that left me plenty to take home for leftovers the next day. The drinks are on the expensive side, with limited Italian wines by the glass that are generally in the $15-17 range (but good!) Desserts are pretty standard Italian restaurant fare--a flourless chocolate mocha torte, cannoli, gelato, I think probably one other thing I'm forgetting. I'm not usually a big flourless torte fan, but their chocolate one was excellent. There were just a few misses. Not sure if we came before the weekly (?) food delivery or what, but they were out of a couple entrees and both happened to be the very ones my partner was debating between and most excited about, so that got things off to a slightly bumpy start. They also had live music which in theory is cool, but it was a four-piece band with drums and a vocalist and was just really way, way too loud for a relatively small space like that. I could see a smaller instrumental trio working out better for the ambiance, or a person with a guitar. Just not a fan of having to shout to my dinner companion and struggling to communicate with the server (as someone who is already a little hard of hearing). I think the live music situation is a special occasion thing, though, so I expect I'll like it better next time under different circumstances! read more

I truly love it here but I couldn't give it 5 stars. I ALMOST gave three due to ONLY the staff.... (Unfortunately. Negative-ish reviews, or anything, sucks) The food is consistently GREAT and the chef/owner is probably the coolest woman you'll ever meet. She cares about this place and that shows. The staff.... Ahhhhh! I know it's tough in the service industry, but when customers are being nice to you and you could not care less about giving them any kindness back, not cool. Three out of four times I've been there, the check in at the front has been not great. It always seems like the hostess and the waitress truly don't want you there. Or at least want to make you feel like you've done something wrong or inconvenient. Italian guilt (lol just a joke). But really, we had a group of 7 before and we were waiting on one- and I know some places have their reasons for weird rules but they don't have to be MEAN about it. ONE person was 5 min late and we knew her app order lol. We also went to the 7 fishes dinner they did this holiday which, because of the chef, I highly recommend. Food was honestly incredible. They advertised a full bar but only had two waitresses (they might have been the most miserable waitresses I have encountered. Which was sad because it was a cool experience) filling up a random red or white wine for you. Wine was separate cost from ticket which is smart and how you make money, but the waitresses were not interested in filling your glass. When we got there, we had a friend joining my husband and I. So, as always, she purchased her own ticket. Did not know that would make the two waitresses so upset that they would roll there eyes at us when they realized we were technically a three group and not two so they asked us if we mind our friend sitting BY HERSELF. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO US. When we very kindly explained that would definitely make her anxious and she's almost here so if they can have us sit together for the start which is in 15 min and not everyone is here yet, that'd be so helpful. Who know they wouldn't let you choose your seat? They sighed and told us "they would try" so they went out to the people there and explained how there was "only one person who was technically here alone so can people move down a seat?" 1. How embarrassing to the person who was "the only one alone" and 2. They gave this same speech again to this said person as soon as she walked in. Told her all they had to "move" around for her and she felt awful! We felt completely unwelcomed and like a burden after paying over $100 for tickets. Each. In depth review and long, but I have in depth feelings about a place so good and with an awesome chef, but staff is just tough.... Checked out Beccafico while we were in town. Nice setting and nice spacious tables. Unfortunately the food took forever to come out. Even the appetizer order of truffle fries, which were very good, took almost 30 minutes. Then there was another hour wait for the entrees. The food was, for the most part, very good once it finally came out. The lamb ragu was excellent and the eggplant rolls were our favorite. The pasta in broccoli sauce was disappointing, quite bitter. And the shrimp pasta special was okay but not great. The branzino was good. The salads were also good especially the burrata. read more

Of the 4 dishes at our table, 3 were unremarkable and one was inedible. I have never had pasta as bad as their Frutti de Mare. Not sure if they didn't fully dry the fresh pasta before they cooked it but I've never had a more disturbing mouth feel. Plus, there was no seafood flavor in the sauce. It was as if they simply put some shellfish in their regular marinara. First dish was inedible, the replacement was unremarkable. The service was very good. read more

I enjoyed the restaurant. The tables are far enough apart that you can have a conversation without feeling like others can hear you. We had lunch there on a Friday and had a table by the front windows which is a nice bright area. Cost for lunch for 3 ladies was $150 incl tip so this isn't inexpensive. However, that did include bar service...wine is $14/+per glass. I enjoyed my Regina Margherita pizza (I had to wait to eat my pizza because no one gave me an extra plate...not sure what happened with that.) My daughter is still talking about the olive oil cake she had on a previous visit! She just loved it. I do think they keep the restaurant a bit on the cool side so dress appropriately! Great food- I mean really great. We took some home and ate it a few hours later after our tummies had room. We will Definitely be back. Wine was outstanding as well. Shout out to reception staff and to Brad, our waiter, who were all very professional, personable, and accommodating. Didn't give it 5 stars for the following reasons: I didn't love the little complimentary antipasti. Just wasn't anything different. Also, we were told focaccia bread was coming that never came. Decor: The chairs and tables were all the same throughout and we imagined it would be more interesting if they varied depending on the location of the restaurant. That's a personal preference, but more importantly, the chairs hurt our backsides after about 30 mins- hard and uncomfortable. Also, we wished for real plants instead of plastic ones. read more

I was excited to try a new authentic Italian place but it was just mid. Drinks were good but the Pork Spiedini was dry and the Pappardelle Al'Tartufo Nero was almost too salty to eat. I gave up halfway through. I think they'd be lovely for happy hour but dinner was not great. read more

Within two weeks we have been here twice already! Made reservations through open table, it was a bit off (no reservations on Friday when I checked Thursday night, but then a whole bunch of hours showed up Friday morning). I tried to make a call during that time - but no one has picked up the phone. I attempted three times on three separate occasions during their open hours . I'm not sure if you need a reservation, the place seemed to always have a few tables open (which is so surprising to me, especially around dinner time!) we usually went around 7pm. The ambience is sooooo nice. They really amplified the space. So many paintings, white walls, gorgeous bar. Foood had us back again since we enjoyed it so much the first time. It even got my husband's approval -- he's from Milan hehe. The menu has such a great selection! The pasta tastes fresh, the portions are perfect (not too big!) and the flavors are delicious. It reminded us of our time in Sardinia, which was such a nostalgic moment for us . We've tried a meat dish, pasta, risotto, all were amazing! And definitely enjoyed the olive oil cake. It's super moist! They do have espresso as well to finish off. Service is good, our waitress was knowledgeable both times, came to check on us at a good frequency (not too much or not too little). We've waited to try it out for a long time and we finally did for a holiday season brunch. This is basically everything I observed. The staff does NOT answer the phones. I've called numerous times for different things and never once did I speak to someone (during working hours) on the phone. It would always send me directly to voicemail. I understand it's December and there are events going on, but not once was I able to speak to anyone to make a reservation for a groups of 7 people on the phone. The website directly states we cannot make a large group reservation any other way, so that was very frustrating. I went and walked in and spoke to 3 receptionists to book the reservation, they were very confused by the iPad system they were using... which took a long time for them to figure out and then charged me $100 for a deposit to hold our reservation. I understand needing a deposit for a large group but $100 is pretty steep, even if it's applied to the check at the end. Once we arrived we weren't able to be sat until the entire group arrived, but once we were all ready, we had to wait a while for someone at reception to come and retrieve us. Again, it doesn't seem like anyone stays up front at the host area for long. Seated quickly, not too many tables around us full of people. It seemed like a quiet day. Our server was quick and quiet when greeting us, a tad lackluster. Drink orders were quick and then more tables were sat all around us. Eventually we were able to put our brunch orders in, lots of salads and a few pasta dishes, three apps and a frittata. The restaurant was really not that busy, but it took well OVER AN HOUR and 15 minutes to get our food...... in fact numerous tables around us were served food and drinks before us even though they were sat well after us. I was concerned about how warm the dishes would actually be, some were fine and hot and some were cold that should have been warm... The server seemed to almost avoid our table during the entirety of the over hour long wait. She didn't give us updates, didn't apologize for the length of time, nothing...once all the food finally came out, it didn't come out all together and we had to wait a bit longer to actually start eating. Food quality was great, food was yummy and we were happy to be eating finally. They seemed to be out of random things as well, normal things you would want for brunch.. pumpkin pancakes and sangria specifically. Lastly, when checking out.. it's just an odd process with the $100 deposit. I would have preferred to have kept everything on one card at least if that's what the restaurant wants to do with charging me $100 before we even attend the meal. But instead it's a new check just minus the $100... Service was a 5.5/10. Reception service all together is like a 4/10. Food was a 8.5/10. Prices for brunch were reasonable, drinks were fine. See previous answer. Apparently Tito's sounds Italian so that was available. But don't order it on the rocks. After your first sip, you won't get a second. $20.00 for a Martini half the size of what you'd expect anywhere else. Must have been the Italian gin. Like your mussels undercooked? This is the place. "Can you add grilled shrimp to the pasta"? "Yes" was the answer but no was what she meant. On a positive note, while not the best I've ever had, the Osso Buco was acceptable. If our experience was typical of the food and service, I can't imagine Beccafico surviving with the other excellent restaurant choices available in the Lancaster area. read more

Went there with my five-year-old for a daddy/daughter day. It was excellent. Had the arugula salad with pan-fried chicken cutlet. It was perfectly (lightly) dressed so you could taste the parm, arugula, and chicken. No "kids menu" (and wouldn't expect it) but they easily offered house-made noodles with butter and parm. The drizzle of pesto oil was a nice touch that my little girl thought was pretty. I was hesitant to try the place because I saw a few reviews that complained about service, time to receive food, and "no free bread". Service was good. Meal was not rushed (we enjoyed a good hour together) and the bread was way better than some basket of free breadsticks you'll get somewhere else. Will come back again! read more

We booked a lunch reservation online and found meter parking out front. The wine selection was perfect. They partnered with local businesses and everything was sourced from Italy. They had lots of gluten free options. The decor was tasteful, and the waitress was helpful. The food was amazing. Everything was fresh, local or from Italy and cooked to perfection. I got the arugula salad sight the chicken cutlet and the Italian wedding soup. My husband got pasta with was also really tasty. 10/10 will go again. read more

I've been waiting weeks to try this place. It's about 45 min from me so a Saturday night reservation was needed. The staff were great we started with the bread, pork skewers, and fried mozzarella. They were out of the Italian sausage. The bread and pork were great, the fried mozzarella was OK. My wife and I both got the Fruits of the sea. Honestly I was so excited to eat here but the food just didn't hit for us. The pasta was dense and heavy and the sauce was bland. The price just didn't match the quality of the food. They were out of quite a few things at 6:30 on a Saturday and their menu was too small. Italians are known for large portions and selections of food, not this place. For my money Victor's in York and Moonlight Cafe in Dover is significantly better. read more

Horrible place! Went there for my wife's birthday at 7pm, as soon as we sat down the waitress told us they are out of the red snapper which was exactly what my wife wanted. As she takes our drink order, we look over the menu and I'm like yum I'll get the Gnocchi. Waitress comes back to take our order which is now 715 pm. Oh by the way we just sold our last gnocchi!!! So now I'm pissed I end up getting some pasta that was ice cold. I tell the waitress it's her bday! And for dessert My wife ordered a vanilla gelato as well as my son. Food was incredible Service needs work Went there for the first time on February 13th Specifically ask for my entrees NOT to be served immediately after my appetizers but as I was eating the last couple of French fries! BAM- my dinner was there... The Bronzino which was very nicely prepared needs to be boned table side or in the kitchen if not experienced in eating a whole fish would be a bad idea to order... Was there on April 4th my birthday Reservation at 12 noon had an older lady for a waitress sat right in front of the window little table that was about the only thing that was nice! Waitress was awful, in the reservation my finance stated it was my birthday not once did anyone ever say anything or do anything small to acknowledge. She never checked on us took forever to get service! We ordered the egg souffle thing - IT WAS AWFUL only two pieces of generic sausages in the entire dish no flavor and disgusting then I ordered the special was a blue cheese sauce with short ribs and pasta the SHORT RIBS WERE AWFUL CHEWY DRY AND FATTY what a birthday and I chose to spend with them! NEVER AGAIN this place was a joke! and Service and food was DISGUSTING thank you for ruining my birthday day brunch! I am full blooded Italian this is NOT an Italian restaurant not even close - I post a review on RESY but noticed I could not find it so doing it again, so everyone knows how awful this place is! This was our first time to Beccafico. We had a great dinner experience. The atmosphere is beautiful and the food was delicious. We had read about small servings, but I believe the restaurant altered this and the servings were generous with enough to take home. We got the two specials for our dinner. Terrible. They were out of several different entrees and they had a very limited menu. They charge for bread. Our entrees came out 5 minutes after we got our appetizers. At the Grand Opening last night, and it was an amazing culinary experience. The ambiance is bright, modern and classy, and the staff are efficient and cheerful. Now the food - Wow! We ordered most of the appetizers and enjoyed every one - the antipasto tray, meatballs and pork skewers were my favorites. The entrees I would enjoy on repeat were the branzino fish and the osso buco. (I'm gluten free, so I'll let someone else review the pasta dishes). The flourless chocolate cake was so delicious I was tempted to lick the plate. You can be sure you'll enjoy a wonderful dining experience here! read more
