My friend recommended this restaurant and I am so happy that she did! Little Angela's is definitely a gem. The Italian cuisine is top notch in in flavor and quality. I especially loved how the menu had a wide variety of classic dishes as well as numerous nightly specials. I opted for the Grilled Portobella Mushrooms with Jumbo Lump Crabmeat. It was absolutely delicious, the balsamic glaze was top notch. In addition to numerous appetizers, salads, and entrees, they have a large wide and dessert menu. You will have a hard time deciding which items sound the best. The staff is very attentive with your order and are so courteous in getting dishes out of your way once you are done. There are numerous parking options as it's located in shopping center so you can bring a large group or have a romantic date night. It's a cozy space with all wood tables and booths as well as a bar. Our server is excellent. Tiffany. The food we had was exceptional. She works mostly evenings. But we got lucky she works the Sunday lunch. I can't begin to tell you how much I loved my meal. Everything was delicious. Started with escargot. They came in a dish of the sauce. Absolutely wonderful. Then, On to the entrees. Spouse had the pizza. I got the mushrooms ravioli. Every bite was delicious. The ravioli were Home made. And wonderful. Stuffed with mushrooms and more mushrooms in the delectable sauce. The sauce was perfectly flavored. And we ended with dessert. Haven't eaten here in a couple of years and was disappointed in the sandwich I ordered because it was not prepared as described on the menu. I ordered a chicken and portobello panini on focaccia bread. The sandwich was not grilled like typical paninis and it was served on a cold hamburger bun which was not focaccia. Chicken was okay. After new management took over after chef Michael sold the franchise, service and food has become awful. We had hoped it was just growing pains and management needed time. Today we called in a large calzone and lunch sized linguine w white sauce. Instead, I Arrived home with an extra large Stromboli and dinner sized linguine White linguine dish. The receipt upon inspection, revealed extra large calzone and dinner priced linguine. (I accept responsibility for not reviewing the receipt). Called and was told "yeah, the kitchen just made wrong order, you can come back for calzone". Not, how may I adjust bill, make this right for you on future visit since you can't drive back today". The Stromboli was a greasy and disgusting mess of meats, vegetables and uncooked dough. The side sauce was a very runny iced cold tomato sauce from a generic can from Publix next door. There was no mozzarella in the Stromboli my husband remarked. Just a bunch of greasy sausage, ham and limited peppers or onions. I hate Stromboli and that's why I ordered calzone in first place. The linguine was a bland watery mess of uncooked noodles with absolutely no flavors. The side of bread was a hard, stale burnt piece of bread. We used to enjoy dining there for celebrations or prior to doing our grocery shopping next door at Publix. We won't dine there anymore. Today was the last time. . Please don't waste your time or money either. New management and staff are absolutely essential to a new successful restaurant, and they definitely fail at both. read more

Went for a late dinner after seeing Jerry Seinfeld at the Altria. The food was amazingly delicious!!! Our waitress was super friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. We did get to experience some authentic Sicilian/Italian family disagreement. It got kind of loud. We are pretty easy going so we just laughed at our dinner and a show. Two other guests were cracking jokes with us. I think they are regulars. Some would have been upset and demanded a discount or free meal. That's not how we roll. They were apologetic to us. We understand working in a restaurant not to mention with your family can be stressful. We will definitely be going back. The food was too freaking good! I also have a new dish. It's been a very long time since I've been disappointed with Italian food, but it happened at Little Angela's. The BTG Cabernet was not good. I had the spaghetti carbonara and it was drowning in tasteless sauce. I have no idea how they made it so bland. Instead of cubed pancetta there was a weird sliced meat on it. My husband had the clam pasta and said it was mediocre. My daughter had the pizza, which was just ok. The portions are large so we ate enough to stave off our hunger and left the rest--no takeaway of the pastas. We each ordered our own with the intention of bringing home leftovers but we didn't want a second go at the food. The only good thing were the free hot rolls. we have been going Angela's and Little Angela's for years. in fact my husband and I had our first day almost 40 years ago Angela's. We have always loved the food. Little Angela's has new owners and the quality of the food has gone downhill faster than anything I have ever seen. we went the other night and the same dishes we always get were horrible. The ingredients were not the same and the amount of proteins were cut in half. It took 1 1/2 hours to get the food and they forgot one of the entrees. They never apologized and the manager knew what was going on and chose to not come over. I will never go here again! read more

Restaurant keeps going down hill....we have lived up the street from Little Angelos for 13 years, and we love italian food. This has been our go-to Italian restaurant for years... but last year or so, under new ownership and/or new management, the food is not something we would pay for again. Tonight's order had a new cook...new front restaurant staff and food was overcooked dry and i could not eat any of my food at all. I would not be surprised if they went out of business soon. Little Angela's Ristorante Friday 4/12/19 @ 7:18pm I stopped by the grocery store and saw this restaurant and since I hadn't had dinner I thought I'd try it out. Initially I was going to get a meatball sub but after looking at the menu I didn't see any subs so I inquired and I was told by the bartender that they don't have subs for dinner. But I decided to stay anyway. I did go to the restroom and the restroom was a really clean, sorry no pictures because I accidentally forgot my phone in the car. When I came out I was seated at a table for two. It took me awhile to look at the menu because it was kind of complicated. A lot of their foods don't come with a side. Regardless I decided to order Rockfish and I ordered a butter sauce for the fish. Then after being told I could either get sauce or a side I told her forget the sauce and give me spinach and I also get a salad. I mean, to me it's just weird that you either get sauce for your meat or a side. I almost feel like they're trying to make this restaurant into something it's not. We will see after I taste my fish. House salad with homemade house Italian dressing: the salad was lettuce, 1 tomato, thin red onions. The dressing, nothing special Rockfish with no sauce lol: the fish was nice and flaky. they put a little seasoning on top but it was a little spicy, reminded me of Old Bay. Spinach: tasteless. the color was good and it had a great presentation but there was absolutely no taste. It was also very oily. (See photo) Noise levels were ok except for the lady next to me. However, she was drinking wine so maybe that was why she was a little too loud. My table was wobbly and I hit my head on the hanging lamp when I got up to leave, I'm 5'4. When I first came in the temperature was comfortable then they must have put the air conditioning on "blast" because it ended up freezing! Grrrrr. Would I come back??i I must say I would like to come back just to try the Italian food maybe that's what they're really good at. No rush but I will be back for Italian. The waitress was awesome! Had an awesome dinner with Amanda as our waitress. Food was awesome - we had a pepperoni pizza and chicken piccata. Both were DELICIOUS. Always on point food wise, but the service was awesome too. This used to be the best Italian restaurant in our area. We have eaten there for 10+ years. Unfortunately, the restaurant was sold recently and it's no longer what it once was. I don't know why it happens here no mattter when we go-but something is left off of dinner. First time, there was no bread to accompany the meal. Who goes to an Italian restaurant and doesn't get bread? It was a little thing....but wait, there is more. Second time, going to give them the benefit of the doubt. This time the salad was not served. It wasn't until I was driving home that I realized it. So I went back and looked to see if I was wrong that a salad is supposed to be served before the entree. Yep. The menu says yes-a salad is included. Your choice of dressing. Then I remember one of my friends asked for (sweet) iced tea and at 7:15 on a weekday, they had no iced tea. I don't think they wanted to have us be in the restaurant still when it was supposed to close at 8. How do I know/think that? Well, while we were eating, one of the waitresses went to the front and locked the door about 7:45 and said, that way we won't have any late customers coming in. I don't know who the owners are now(it's not the same ones as own Angela's) but they need to see what's going on in their workers' minds about being customer friendly. Just saying. read more

The worst service we have ever experienced at a restaurant. On Sunday June 9, 2024 my wife and another couple had dinner at Little Angela's. Previous visits to the restaurant were always positive. This one was not. We are not sure what went wrong at the restaurant, but our horrible experience centered on our waitress. She was overwhelmed by her job. We waited for our food for over two hours. When three of the four entrees finally did arrive one of the entrees was cold. It was approximately 10 minutes before the fourth entrée arrived. Frequently the waitress walked by our table. During most of the times she passed by us, as we tried to get her attention to check on our food, ask for bread and ask for glasses for our drinks, we were dismissed with a wave of her hand. There was no eye contact or verbal interaction on her part. During our long time at the restaurant another worker showed up to help. That worker went to a table filled with people she knew and they immediately had drinks, bread and food orders taken. Other patrons had the same experience as we did and ended up leaving the restaurant. Again we are not sure who is to blame. It is recommended that the restaurant ownership take action to correct what we and others experienced. It will be a long time before we return and we will only return after we know corrections have been made. Richard W read more

Meh. Choose well and you'll eat well. Just stick to the basics. My Mom lives in the Crossridge neighborhood behind this shopping center, so we've eaten here many times. First, the pizza. Great if you like a doughy crust. Very generous cheese and toppings. House salad: lettuce + onions + dressing. Meh. Simple pasta entrees are the best - lasagna and ravioli are excellent, but skip the seafood and fancy dishes. In the last two orders, we threw out the seafood from two dishes and ate just the pasta. Surprisingly, my husband, who is not a pasta lover, ordered a filet and it was cooked perfectly. A few weeks ago, mom ordered the filet with crab and demiglace, and the steak was cooked perfectly, but the demiglace was a ladleful of gravy and the crab was undetectable. Given the proximity to Crossridge, we will likely eat here again, but will choose our meals very carefully. read more
