I'm a regular at Marco's...VERY regular. It seems this has become our Friday night staple of simplicity for the past several months, and it is usually perfect...usually. I'm also one of those who takes advantage of a system that allows people to change options of pizza toppings without getting charged extra for it in the process. This is one of the best features that Marco's Pizza has available. We typically get the Marco's "The Works" Pizza which has more toppings that we prefer. In the app (I suggest getting this), you can make the pizza a "half-and-half" and select which toppings you want or do not want. If you deselect a meat or a veggie, you can select a different meat (or veggie) that may not have been on the pizza to begin with. It really makes it an amazing way to tailor the pizza to your taste. The option for adding garlic sauce and parmesan cheese to the crust is a real treat as well. The people at Marco's are super nice and friendly. They all do a great job in making sure your pizza is built to order, with fresh ingredients and well prepared. I have rarely had a pizza not come out correctly, but they certainly do make remedies for those instances. Best of all, the pizza is VERY good. Sauce has a nice tang to it, and the dough is perfect (in my opinion). I realize this is a chain, but for a chain, I think it is the best pizza in town. I would highly recommend. They also serve pasta, salads, desserts, and other options. But for me, I just stick with the pizza. Great job, Marco's!! read more

Just a follow up a year later. Ordered three pizza's for the office online at 11:18. Confirmation says it will be ready at 11:28. They were ready at 11:54. Food is 4-5 stars, wait/communication for takeout is 1 star. I want to start showing up 45 minutes later but actually like my food hot and that will be the time that it's ready in 10 minutes. read more

Solid pizza. I'd stop by this chain again. Cheesy cheese, delicious crust and dough, and toppings looked and tasted fresh. Since I was splitting the pie with someone who liked mushrooms (bleeeeh) Marco's was willing to put mushrooms on one half and tomatoes on the other and both of us were satisfied. read more

First time ordering from Marco's. Great experience. Will definitely be a return customer! I was ordering pizza for a group lunch. I needed the pizza delivered at a specific time. I requested the pizzas be double cut in the instructions online. I submitted my order via their website the night before (and called to double check they received the order on their end). The pizza arrived right on time. I had ordered seven different pizzas. They were all double cut like I requested. The toppings were fresh and generous on all of the pizzas. Everyone loved the pizza (I ordered several speciality pizzas plus two build your own) I appreciate the staff who answered the phones both times when I called to ask questions - very helpful and patient with all my questions. read more

Basically a simple pizza take out place with a couple of tables and literally no service. PIZZA is passable at best.

The last 2 weekends we have ordered. Last Saturday we got subs...took almost 3 hrs to get to our house. And forgot our cheesy bread. The subs weren't all that great either. Tonight we got pizza and bread sticks. Again almost 3 hrs to get a cold pizza and bread sticks. Your new app is pathetic the notification system sucks. We will be taking our business elsewhere . I never have a bad experience when I order from Marco's. So far, I tried the pizza (can't go wrong there), breadsticks, and steak and cheese sub. in my opinion their pizza is a lot better than the chain pizza places. They seemed to have slacked off. Marco's pizza is full of flavor, toppings, and the crust is soft and edible. The staff is always so nice. They greet you as soon as you walk in. I'm not a huge fan if the subs, but it wasn't horrible. It's good to have a pizza place close by that offers more then just pizza and breadsticks. read more

An order that was supposed to arrive at approx 9:06 pm, arrived at approx 9:42pm. The pizza arrived barely warm, tasted awful, the crust was like rubber (and I'm not a picky pizza eater), and the breadsticks were not even chewable they were so tough as if they had been microwaved. When I called the manager, he proceeded to tell me that unfortunately when he has too many orders and not enough drivers, the food just has to sit out and get cold. No apology, no coupon, nothing. We had to throw all of the food away. I even requested the owner of the franchise to call and they did not. There was nothing positive about this experience as a fair warning. read more

Very nice and friendly staff. However, the best pizza in Richmond? Really? This is worse than domino. The place is for people who enjoy cheap low quality chain restaurants like Olive Gardens. read more

After a long day at the races with 2 kids, we didn't feel like leaving the hotel for dinner so we decided on pizza delivery. It was a little later so our options were running out. We stayed at Comfort Suites at Virginia Commons in Glen Allen, and although their online system said they didn't deliver to our hotel, when I called they said the did. Since I couldn't order online, they gave me the online discount anyway. We ordered a large extra pepperoni, a medium BBQ chicken, and cheesy bread. The price was reasonable, delivery came quickly, and the pizza was amazing!! Definitely a place we'll consider again when we're in Richmond! read more

My husband and I LOVE Marco's! We have ordered so many times and it's our favorite go to pizza spot. Last night we ordered a cauliflower pizza with two crust toppings. They wrote a little note on the pizza box letting us know that one of the toppings weren't gluten free and use at own risk! Inside - they had put it on the side in a container, just in case. As a gluten intolerant customer, 10/10!!!!! The kindness and thoughtfulness is so awesome. I know it might seem silly, but I would have been soo sick if they didn't take that extra step and let me know. Can't wait to order again soon :) read more
