His teachers have been nothing short of incredible. They all truly have a passion for what they do and are genuinely invested in every child in their classroom. The growth we've seen in not just academics, but also in social confidence, emotional development, and problem-solving skills, has been incredible. The wide range of activities he's able to participate in at school, like soccer shots, little gym, and zookeeper visits, among others, makes every day an exciting adventure for him, where he's genuinely excited to go to school. He's heading into kindergarten extremely well-prepared and is excited to continue learning. School operations are fantastic as well. The school does an excellent job of parent communication, has a safe and efficient drop-off/pick-up system, and great overall facilities.

I don't expect them to become fluent through this program but I'm on day 500 of mandarin through Duolingo and they sometimes correct my pronunciation. I've also spent many hours helping out in their math class and I'm happy with the amount of one on one time vs. full class time the kids get and both the Mandarin/math teacher and her teaching assistant are amazing.

In my French classes i got taught NOTHING over 7 years now at my new school i've already learned more. The admin does NOTHING about bullying. I was in the principals kids class and he thought he could do anything and truthfully he could because admin is useless. Mr haslick suspended multiple kids for no reason. The admin here has NO buisness running a school. The only reason people get hired is because the are friends of the principal. One of my friends went home crying because bullying gets so severe because they no admin does nothing. You also learn nothing from this school because half the teachers arnt even qualified. They some how have an award that says "distinguished improvment" but if anything it gets worse and worse every year.

The former principal left a few years ago leading to total disarray at this school - teachers left, were fired, and we all suffered. Then we were sold on this new principal Danell - a trove of glorified qualifications. But her actions were the contrary. She enabled faulty policies, communicated poorly and hid very questionable practices from the parents. Sound familiar, Douglas County? She ran this place into the ground and enrollment suffered. AND THEN WHAT!? We just received a 6 month notice that it is closing, leaving families to scramble for wait lists elsewhere, many which exceed 6 months. I hope this joke of a woman's new employer finds out what happened here. I feel bad for all families impacted and to those great teachers there that hopefully will find continued employment elsewhere. Long story short, 3 weeks... 6 mistakes. They weren't just any ordinary mistakes they were mistakes that proved my daughter is just another number to them. The communication is a 0/10 and if you're gonna have a school, with my toddler who can't communicate then you should be on top of it! And then not only the obvious, I'm paying you good money... for what? My daughter is very sensitive to whole milk and her immune system shuts down so she drinks almond milk, they asked that I not bring almond milk I said no problem then she can have water at school and milk at home. They were giving her milk everyday even after I addressed them 4 times not to... one day she came home in someone else's diaper (she doesn't wear diapers, she wears pull ups) she's in the middle of potty training and not once did they potty train her at school. She then came home in her pull up but OH WAIT it gets better, someone else's diaper UNDER HER PULL-UP! I had tried to voice my concerns on multiple occasions and I was either ignored or looked at like a deer in headlights with no answers or solutions. I then notified them through the app it was her last day so please send her home with everything in her cubby and of course someone decided to call me FINALLY to have a conversation. Too little, too late. To say I was unhappy with my experience is a understatement. Never introduced me to my two year olds teachers, I'm not even a little sorry of my review. I know what a great preschool entails and this is not even close. I should of been pulled aside with my daughters teachers, discussed solutions, apologizing for all the mistakes in such a little time but NOPE I went to them every single time with no response back. First, don't base the enrollment of your student off this review but please take note as to what your child might experience at this school. Now, into my insight on this school. Though I had been there only from 1st-6th I had to transfer due to poor ability to put kids in the right classes and an awful 1:35 male to woman staff employment. As you can tell, it is very uncommon to have very little male staff members, and you might be wondering "could this school give more opportunity to succeed for a girl rather than a boy" the answer is yes. many sexist teachers flood the school every year and they seem to have a vendetta against male students. Though this could be blindly overlooked when your student is younger, by 5th grade, it becomes very obvious. Second, the teachers' ability to teach proper lessons is awful. The school hires younger teachers so they can pay them less, in hope to save money. It also seems that training doesn't exist at this school because some teachers seem very clueless as to what new students might need for resources. In all, this school should not be your primary choice but feel free to overlook this comment

Over all there is a culture of 'not caring' and neglect to children from what I personally saw. Call CPS to inquire about the investigation which includes personal accounts of abuse and neglect from 8 adults and counting as others come forward to tell the truth.
