We are so impressed with Orchard Valley. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Each of the classrooms have bright colors and lots of toys. Communication is great, as they send a weekly email and even daily updates on how your child did. The one and only reason this isn't a five star review is there seems to be staffing issues. I know this isn't the teachers' fault, but from time to time they struggle to have enough teachers in each classroom and can sometimes combine classes if a teacher is sick or has a day off. Otherwise, I would highly recommend Orchard Valley Learning Center.

That was actually not the case at all. I was told on Friday morning by Janie that there was "definitely availability" for both of my children. I explained our special circumstances and that we needed Orchard Valley specifically because of one of their employees. I was told that I would be able to start my children the next week and there was no mention of a deposit. When I called Monday morning, I was told that there were no spaces, it was my fault, and I was hung up on. So yes, my review is accurate, and proven more so by the fact that no one involved has taken any responsibility or offered any solution, yet they have found the time to try to defend themselves on a public forum. If there are any specific accusations that you "Jason" would like to deny I would be happy to address them... Bottom line... I've never even been in direct contact with this facility, or in contact at all with their parent company, and as you can see they are not at all interested in helping their parents or students.

We enrolled my daughter here when we first moved to Colorado and couldn't have been happier with the staff, teachers, and curriculum. We felt they provided her the structure she needed while offering her enrichment that simply would not have been offered anywhere else (example: to study butterfly life cycles, her teacher actually ordered live caterpillars/butterflies so the class could watch them grow). We then moved 30min away but I continued to happily drive her there every day because of how much I loved the staff at PM. This is a terrible daycare. My daughter attended for almost the entire year of 2022. During that…read moretime, she had 10 lead teachers and countless assistant teachers. Oftentimes we'd arrive to drop her off and it'd be a new face on a daily basis. No one ever introduced themselves to us, and my daughter had no consistency, making her feel less comfortable being dropped off. My daughter needs help with drop off and during the entire time we were there, only a couple of the teachers would help - most of them stood back and let you try to get your child to interact with the other children. When she started getting older, they moved her to another classroom, but when they had staffing issues, they just moved my daughter from room to room without any communication with us. We'd arrive in the morning and never knew which room we were supposed to take her to. They'd then move her in the middle of the day multiple times, leaving us unable to see her on their camera system, and not knowing where to pick her up. We had several instances of arriving to pick her up and she'd have a poopy diaper, causing rashes. There were a few times the poop had been there so long that she was bleeding from the rash it had caused. The final straw for us was when we potty trained our daughter, it felt like we were working against the daycare. The first day after training, they took her out of the room with a toilet, moved her to the younger room, and put her back in a diaper. Every weekend we had to nearly re-train her because they weren't listening to her when she said she needed to go potty and they weren't giving her enough reminders. She'd come home having had at least 1 accident daily. She also went from LOVING going to the potty to it being a battle to get her to go. After just 3 days at home, she no longer has any accidents, indicating that they definitely weren't doing their part. In the 11 months we were with this daycare, there were 3 directors. The newest director Ashley really seems like she's trying to turn the place around, and I had faith in her for a long time. I just think this daycare is too far gone at this point. It just needs to be shut down.

If your child is not the favorite they will ignore them, not send any pictures and openly complain about the ones they do not like. They will allow some children to behave poorly while ostracizing the rest, picking at every little thing they do. My child was there in pre-school and I left because of the horrible treatment. Also, the teachers cycle through that place quickly leaving your children with someone new every month or so making it difficult to build any sort of relationship.
