When we started the search for day care and walked into TGTA, Ms. Toma instantly made us feel welcome and safe. She encouraged us to ask questions and visit as many other facilities to feel confident in our decision. Needless to say we knew from the start that TGTA was the right fit. Every morning our toddler runs up to her teachers and gives a big bear hug, which is a constant reminder to me of how much she enjoys her time here. I appreciate that she gets designated reading, music and art time. We find that her vocabulary, social skills and general curiosity are increasing by the day. For our infant, we receive daily reports for feeding, naps, diapers, etc which makes the transition from school to home that much easier. My children have been incredibly well prepared for kindergarten--not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well. The curriculum strikes a great balance, and the staff does such an amazing job meeting each child where they are. For example, my son has a strong interest and talent in math, and his teachers gave him work that matched his skill level, which kept him both challenged and engaged. This Facility was our favorite by far when we did tours in the area - modern building / facilities, great technology to stay connected and monitor your kids, and very friendly and competent staff. This is what daycare should be like in today's age! Parking can be a bit of a pain at times as pickup / drop-off for most parents are around the samtimes and the parking spaces are not the biggest. There's also a high school across the street that causes some traffic disruption but just avoid those times. They give you two apps, one that the teachers use to track meals / diaper changes, and one that you can see your kid at all times. There's a fairly structured curriculum for the kids, though usually I just see them running around having fun. They're friendly and love our babies. I appreciate that the administration cares about teacher retention but also doesn't continue to keep teachers If they don't meet the expectations of OFA.
