We worked with Annie and her team on our wedding in Nov. All the floral arrangements were beautiful, which is probably an understatement of what a fantastic job Annie did on our wedding day. When we met in person the first time to look at the flowers, Annie quickly whipped together a sample for our reference in 10 mins which blew our minds. She was very accommodating and offered her professional opinions on our floral and color scheme selections for the event. One notable mention was that the wedding was on a very windy day, and during the vows the floral arch fell over and hit myself on the head and shoulder with luckily no injuries. My husband blocked most of it and my cousin stayed next to the arch through the end of the ceremony to make sure it stayed up. We understand that accidents do happen and are very appreciative that Annie took it very seriously when we brought the incident to her attention. Little Blue Hummingbird is a locally owned florist, located in Long Beach, CA, that provided all the floral arrangements for our daughter's wedding in October '24. All the floral arrangements were beautiful, and their service on the wedding day was exemplary. Once Sanctuary in Long Beach was chosen as the wedding venue with the chosen package including floral, we began to use their preferred vendor list. Little Blue Hummingbird has done many weddings at that location, and their expertise really shined through. The wedding package chosen from the Sanctuary, included Fresh floral centerpieces for each table. We then added a ceremony floral bundle for the wedding ceremony ($350 plus 22% service fee and tax since bought through Sanctuary). After our first visit, we also purchased additional floral (various bouquets, corsages, non-guest table arrangements, cake flowers) directly from Little Blue Hummingbird. Yelp check-in provided a complementary toss bouquet, so the total came out to an additional $1135. Annie is the owner, and we met with her 3 times in person and once on the phone before the wedding. The primary color of the wedding was hydrangea blue, and Annie was able to match that up with a theme of dusty blue and cream. About a week before the wedding, she showed us the exact arrangement for the tables and some of the bouquets. It was a nice wake up call that the wedding was near. She assured us that her staff would take care of everything, and they delivered. By the time we got to the venue, all the flowers were already delivered. All of them came in take-home vases/containers. It really is a shame that most of our guests were out of town, and not able to take any of the flower arrangements home with them. Instead, most of it was brought back to our house, where they provided beauty for the past week, but are now wilting. Luckily, the flowers in their prime were captured permanently in pictures...giving us lasting memories for such a special day. read more

This little shop surprised me with the selection and quality of flowers. We planned everything from the bouquets, to the boutinierres, yet ceremony flowers, drapes, welcome table and sweetheart table. The blend of reds, pink, lavender, and peach roses plus the silver dollar and baby's breath were beautifully done! They delivered it all to the venue in a timely fashion and 5 days after the wedding, the pieces are still blooming and fresh. Annie at Little Blue Hummingbird is so talented and hard working. She made our floral vision come to life for our wedding on 5/4. I had a strong vision for an 8 foot long, 2 foot high floral arrangement that would make me and my fiancé feel like we were standing in front of a field of gorgeous spring florals. Annie made that vision come to life. She also filled our farm tables with a variety of gorgeous bud vases (that we could take home!). She was extremely communicative with us and we amended the contract several times, adding more arrangements when needed. Annie was completely flexible.
