I was super hungry, and once I found my hotel I was pleased to find there was a restaurant right next door. So I thought I would go check it out When I walked in, this place definitely had a dive biker bar feel to it, but it was super packed for a Tuesday night. The lady behind the bar said sit wherever I'd like and she'd be right with me. It took her a little while to get to me as the place was pretty bumping so I can't fault her for that. She came up to the table and asked me what I'd like. I ordered the three sirloin tacos and an iced tea. She brought out the iced tea, and I had some chips and salsa while I waited. In fact, they tasted like they were bought a store, the real star was the salsa which was completely homemade and had a definite kick to it! I sat there for quite a while waiting for my tacos, after about 15 or 20 minutes she came by and said my tacos would be right out and got me a refill of my tea and some more chips. About another 10 minutes later the tacos finally arrived. They were served on one of those hot fajita plates.. well the style is correct, the plate itself was not hot. In fact, all of the food was lukewarm. Kind of disappointing when I was super starving, but I thought you know what. Let's at least give it a go. Aside from the food not being hot, the meat really did not have the flavor I was hoping for. I added the cilantro and Pico de gallo to the tacos. Hoping that would spice it up a little bit, but I was sorely mistaken. I ended up adding the green onion and some of the salsa from the chips and that at least gave it some kick. Even more disappointing was the rice and beans being lukewarm. My guess is they had my plate made at least 15 minutes ago and it just sat on the counter and no one picked it up. Sad, cuz I really wanted to like this place. At the end of the meal I sat there waiting for the check, and it didn't come. All of my chips and sat there with my wallet and credit card. Hoping to catch someone's attention. My server finally came over and apologized and took my card. A little while later she came back and said have a great evening. Was it all bad? No, it was not. I looked around at the other customers who seemed to be really enjoying the food so I'm just wondering if I caught a bad dish. Bottom line? I doubt that I'll ever come back here, but if I do I will be sure to report back to all of my friends in Yelpland and see if this place made it improvement.

Be aware they charge for all flats and blue cheese as well as sides of sauce but don't disclose this up front. Beer selection on draft is okay. They didn't have an IPA on draft so I got a blue moon. Rather, this review is about the experience my husband and I had there today when we went inside to eat our food. We had ordered, paid, and just sat down when a woman came in through the door after just burning weird incense or something, which I believe also had caught her jacket on fire. She was standing outside the doors closest to the register and had a ton of smoke coming off of her/around her. Not kidding, it looked like a small fire. Not a vape, or a cigarette, like a literal small fire amount of smoke. She then walked past the registers, and brought a TERRIBLE burnt smell in with her, walked straight into the bathrooms carrying an umbrella, bags, etc, and after about 10 minutes exited the bathrooms. She began pointing her umbrella side to side, saying things that were hard to make sense of and then left. About 15 minutes later she came back inside and came and sat right behind me, my husband, and our infant. I immediately got up, went and told the staff, and asked for a manager just so this could get taken care of as there were other CHILDREN inside the Canes. She started yelling and talking to herself, and pulled out a big bottle of pills started taking them right there on a table that families are supposed to be eating at. My husband witnessed this as he was trying to box up our food to go. I don't know what happened, but I'm typing this review as I sit in the parking lot with the food that I ordered. And I haven't seen her exit yet. The manager was just standing there, tables away as we exited and we didn't actually see him go approach her. I'll update my review if this gets resolved in any way, but I don't feel like I was taken seriously on this matter. Rather that I was just trying to complain which wasn't my intention. It was for the safety of not only myself and my family, but the other people there. You cannot allow people to come and do drugs at a table where there are children just feet away. What was supposed to be a relaxing lunch out with my husband turned out to be anything but. I also didn't appreciate the laughs and snickers behind the counter from most of the staff. So yes-- I got my money back from yesterday in the form of vouchers, and customer service is forwarding this to a different higher up team, but it honestly shouldn't have even had to get that far yesterday.
