Woman yelling at herself and flinging an umbrella around*** UPDATE BELOW Unfortunately this review has nothing to do with the food, or the regular employees who help us here-- all of which is typically a great experience. Rather, this review is about the experience my husband and I had there today when we went inside to eat our food. We had ordered, paid, and just sat down when a woman came in through the door after just burning weird incense or something, which I believe also had caught her jacket on fire. She was standing outside the doors closest to the register and had a ton of smoke coming off of her/around her. Not kidding, it looked like a small fire. Not a vape, or a cigarette, like a literal small fire amount of smoke. She then walked past the registers, and brought a TERRIBLE burnt smell in with her, walked straight into the bathrooms carrying an umbrella, bags, etc, and after about 10 minutes exited the bathrooms. She began pointing her umbrella side to side, saying things that were hard to make sense of and then left. About 15 minutes later she came back inside and came and sat right behind me, my husband, and our infant. I immediately got up, went and told the staff, and asked for a manager just so this could get taken care of as there were other CHILDREN inside the Canes. She started yelling and talking to herself, and pulled out a big bottle of pills started taking them right there on a table that families are supposed to be eating at. My husband witnessed this as he was trying to box up our food to go. I don't know what happened, but I'm typing this review as I sit in the parking lot with the food that I ordered. And I haven't seen her exit yet. The manager was just standing there, tables away as we exited and we didn't actually see him go approach her. I'll update my review if this gets resolved in any way, but I don't feel like I was taken seriously on this matter. Rather that I was just trying to complain which wasn't my intention. It was for the safety of not only myself and my family, but the other people there. You cannot allow people to come and do drugs at a table where there are children just feet away. If I saw her, I know others did. And I just don't appreciate that it wasn't handled before I had to go to the counter and say something. And honestly I'm unsure if it was handled at all. As an establishment you have an obligation to make your customers feel comfortable and safe, and I feel like that was not a priority today. $40 down the drain for some BS experience. UPDATE: She was sitting outside as we left the parking lot at one of the tables and as we drove by, we saw her walking back inside to the back corner table inside. So it was obvious that no one actually took us seriously or made her leave for the safety of anyone inside. Today, Monday, December 22, I got in contact with Cane's customer service and I was given 3 vouchers for box combos. The customer service representative was extremely helpful and nice, and I do appreciate the concern that was expressed over the phone, I just still wish the entire experience wouldn't have occurred. It caused me to get upset at the table and not even want to continue eating before she came in the second time. What was supposed to be a relaxing lunch out with my husband turned out to be anything but. I also didn't appreciate the laughs and snickers behind the counter from most of the staff. So yes-- I got my money back from yesterday in the form of vouchers, and customer service is forwarding this to a different higher up team, but it honestly shouldn't have even had to get that far yesterday. Their food is great, don't get me wrong. I love cane's. The service is always friendly there at this location, and the chicken is cooked to where it's perfectly crispy. 10/10 on all of that. No complaints there. But I'm not sure I can go back to this location after that. My husband made a great point yesterday. She's just sitting there taking a handful of pills at that table and some unsuspecting family is supposed to come along after she leaves to sit and eat at the same table that just happened at? this place is yummy as always. it's one of my favorite places to eat. we went at 10pm and it was really busy. the line was way to long. we waited almost a hour in line. the service was good though! along with the food so i can't complain. it was just super busy that late and they forgot to give me toast haha. overall i still recommend this place! read more

Raising Cane's has really grown on me. I wasn't that much of a fan but I am now. I've never dined in at any Raising Cane's. I've only used the drive-thru. Service has always been great and so has the food. Another cool fact is that they go for the Dallas Cowboys! That's an automatic five-star review from me. Lol. DC4L! (Dallas Cowboys for life) Their chicken strips and fries always taste fresh and made to order. Their bread is also tasty. I think the main reason why I wasn't sold is because their menu is basic. I came to realize it's not necessarily a bad thing even though I love variety. I used to dread coming for my son and bf but I don't anymore. Fries are ok just your normal crinkle fries you can get at the grocery store and fry or bake at home. Texas toast is descent tasting. Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers needs to be on the regular rotation of every chicken fan in El Paso! I hadn't tried Raising Cane's prior to them opening in El Paso, but I quickly learned why they have such a great following around the country, it's because the chicken fingers are really darn good! Crispy outside, yet tender and juicy inside, just like I like em. Throughout my life, I have held some pretty strong, and correct, views about mayonnaise, so when I learned that Raising Cane's sauce kinda has mayo, I was skeptical. However they make such a big deal about the sauce that I decided to try dipping a finger in it, and shockingly, it's pretty good! Creamy and peppery and not at all mayo-y. You have to have a really good product to make me be okay with knowingly consuming mayo. The bread is good too, fries are meh. The traffic and crowds you'll encounter during the first few weeks are a little daunting, however I stood in a pretty long line and still managed to get and finish my meal within 45 minutes. Everything is amazing. I like my fries crispy so I ask for their extra crispy because sometimes they are on the limp side (still tasty though). One issue I have is the cashier that I usually get will see that my husband is standing next to me, I'll order and she asks "is that it?" I guess this is just me being picky but I feel the more appropriate question would be "would this complete your order?" Or "would you like anything else?" Better than KFC or POPEYES. Chicken was fresh, perfectly cooked, crazy fast, + great fries (love my crinkle cut). Facility: Modern, clean, comfortable & fun. Bathrooms: SUPER clean, well appointed, garbage can properly placed by door so you could wash & not touch handle with clean hands. Staff: Soooooo nice! Warm, patient, made an extra effort to bring our food to the table & help us with our trash. They invited conversation while restocking customer supplies (napkins etc), they were on their game refilling the ice teas for customers 3 or 4 times while we were here. Management: Asked to speak with Lawrence who was so appreciative to receive positive feedback, he shook my hand & thanked me 3x. EVERYONE on his team served us beautifully. Many of the restaurants in El Paso, Tx (maybe throughout the states) have gone down on quality, service, and most of all - the size of servings. At Cane's, the last two times, our combo meals had small servings of the fries, and the fingers are smaller in size. Yep, still have to get the entire combo, so essentially I paid $10 for 6 tenders, I drank some lemonade while I waited for my order and then tossed it on the way out the door. The lemonade was actually pretty mediocre as well. Other than Which Wich, I have never been so excited for a chain to open in El Paso, as I generally like doing things locally if I can help it. To me, this is the In N Out of chicken fingers. No frills, not hard decisions to make, just chicken fingers. There's only 4 things to choose from on the menu, and if you haven't figured it out yet, they're combos of varying numbers of chicken tenders. The tenders are always delicious, evenly battered, and never overlooked/stale. The real winner though is the "Caine Sauce" you dip them in. It's so good it has to be 99% fat and 1% carcinogen. I would put it on everything if I didn't have a halfway conscious mind toward my health. Caines is a great place if you're looking for something simple and you like your chicken. read more

Raising Cane's has some of the best chicken fingers anywhere and that's saying a lot coming from a fast food restaurant. The chicken comes out piping hot, the crust is light and flaky but still crunchy, and the sauce is delectable. The fries were a bit under cooked and soggy for my taste. The reason I give it 4-stars instead of 5 is because of the aforementioned fries and the fact that Cane's chicken fingers do not travel well. I took a box combo (4 chicken fingers, Texas toast, fries, coleslaw and a drink) home with me and decided to eat it about 4 hours later. The fingers and fries were super soggy and not appetizing at all. If you must take Cane's to-go, I recommend you eat it while it's still hot. We're heading through Texas on our way to FL, and El Paso is one of the stops along the route. Needing to break for lunch, we decided to give this chicken place a try. We ordered 4 separate 4 piece chicken tenders meals, which come with slaw, Texas toast and fries, along with 4 lemonaids. We paid $32, so we were very happy with the price (or maybe that's normal in TX, we can just add that to the long list of reasons to leave CA, overpriced chicken lol). I was impressed with the chicken, it looks to be hand breaded, so that's a win. I actually really enjoyed the dipping sauce. It had a nice flavor and was simply enjoyable. The fries are pretty standard crinkle style fries (but they do come with those super cute Heinz dip cup ketchups). The Texas toast, I was actually kind of let down with that. I was expecting something to show me what Texas toast should be, but what I got was a pretty basic piece of soft bread, there was a little crunch on it, but overall, I was disappointed. The Cole slaw was yummy. Diced cabbage and a sweet slaw, but not overly sweet like a KFC slaw. It was right in the sweet spot (haha, see what I did there). The lemonade was yummy too. Cane's has the best- cleanest chicken I've ever had, besides Costco's, this is one of my faves. I love it. It's so fresh, clean and the flavor!!! Oh. The flavor. I love it. I can't even describe it but it's so good. So juicy and never greasy. I order the biggest combo, it's better to just share it because I'm full with finish 2 strips. Why buy 2 combos and pay more? I mean save money live better. You can also substitute coleslaw for a Texas toast or fries. I only wish they had more sauces like buffalo or something but even then, you don't really need it because they're nothing but delicious strips.
