I live ten minutes away, so arrived right when the order was supposed to be ready. I entered the store - it was empty/no other customers and 0 diners present. I only saw 2 employees at 7:30 PM. The front desk person told me that my order would take another 35-40 minutes... I said "WHY?" And she said something about their app didn't take into account the orders their store was already working on. I told her "then your store/company shouldn't feature an app that's so misleading to its customers." I asked her how in the world they thought they'd earn any repeat business with unacceptable policies like this. I asked her if I would get any kind of compensation for having to wait an extra/unplanned 40 minutes for my order. She said she'd have to talk with the manager and walked to the back of the store. She came back a minute later and said "we can give you a drink or a dessert." I told her "don't bother - that's beyond pathetic!" Four other customers came into the store after I arrived to pick up their orders and were also told it would be another "20 or so minutes...". I can't believe the store manager didn't have the interest or professionalism to have the decency to walk to the front counter where I was, to apologize or explain what was going on. One young employee, who I believe may have had special needs, was stocking the cooler with bottled drinks. He accidentally mixed a few Mountain Dews in with the Pepsis, and you would have thought he'd committed a terrible offense. The manager pulled every bottle back out and made him do it all over again while speaking to him in a way that was completely unnecessary. The young man looked so defeated. It honestly broke my heart. I believe managers should have authority and hold employees accountable, but there's a way to do it with respect and dignity. People work harder for leaders who appreciate and encourage them not for someone who treats them like they're disposable.

There's nothing I can do." Me: "Sure, buddy. Thanks for your help." I would've been fine if they just told me they ran out of stuffed crust--but no, I guess he thought it was better to insult my intelligence instead. Like someone who just got home from a crappy day at work, excited to order a delicious stuffed crust pizza, would accidentally click anything else on the app. Long story short when your order a pizza from here there's about a 50% chance your order with be wrong.
