Just got home from papa Murphy in GRANBURY. First off I gave the young man a 20 and a 1 and he gave the one back for a 10.99 bill. Couldn't understand so the little lady behind me had to explain. Then he was making three pizzas and shuffled them several times. The customer ahead of me left with two pizzas the the pizza boy wrapped the remaining pizza and I asked why it has no green peppers so he ran to the parking lot and took a pizza from the customer. When I got home, my papa's favorite had thick crust when I ordered thin and salami and very few other ingredients. I understand it's difficult to find good help, so how about trying some training. 1.) followed the instructions and it charred my pizza. My wife's pizza came out fine but the other one randomly burned and set off the smoke detector because the tray that you can "bake" in the oven nearly caught on fire. We followed the instructions exactly as it came on the instructions. 2.) there is no phone number to call and speak with the team and/or owner. Very disappointed and will not be going back. Realize that it's a flip of a coin when ordering from here. You may or may not have a good pizza when it's done. However for the record, the one pizza that came out fine was great. read more

Showed up to get a pizza at 7:52 on a Sunday. Doors are locked and nobody is home. Website says open until 8 PM. I guess the workers there are not working stated hours. VERY Disappointed in Papa Murphy. Will take my business elsewhere. read more

I never thought that I would like the idea of buying a pizza that I had to cook at home, but since this place was new in town, I thought I'd give it a try. Admittedly, the idea (at first) was less than desirable, and since I had never had a Papa Murphy's pizza before, I really had no idea what I would be getting into. Sure, I've cooked the age-old frozen pies with the best of them...but this is different -- totally different. About 6 weeks ago, on a fluke, I decided to pop into Papa Murphy's in Granbury, TX for a look at what this place was all about. The place was clean. Not just "clean," but stunningly clean. Not to mention a bombardment of 3-4 workers smilingly greeting me with "Welcome to Papa Murphy's" in almost unison. Yes, Papa's People, you've caught my attention. After a quick perusal of the menu, I decided to purchase a "Cowboy Pizza" on their signature "deLITE" thin crust. Not sure why, but the toppings sounded rather good. In a few short minutes, my shell of a crust was decorated with an array of well-positioned toppings, wrapped in cellophane, and my pizza was ready. With all necessary cooking information, I was heading home to try this preposterous method of "Take 'N' Bake." Of course, the skeptic that I can be at times, lured me into conviction that at least if I didn't like it...I wouldn't 'have' to go back. Soon I arrived at home -- [Oven set. Preheat. GO!!] In just short of 12 minutes, my raw pie had been transformed into an aromatic feast for the senses. A pizza, and a beautiful one at that. What's really remarkable, is that it actually came out looking JUST LIKE THE PICTURES ON THE MENU!! Now, how many times has that happened? Answer: Never. Okay, now it's "game on!" One bite was all it took. This was not your average frozen pie, or the mass-produced delivery swill...this was pizza; great pizza! Rarely have I ever had a pizza taste as good as its picture, or with such profound sense of freshness and flavor. This thing was impeccably good...and incredibly satisfying. At last, I have found my preferred local "pizza joint," right in my own home. While there's no comparing the "convenience" of companies that deliver their wares directly to your door, and often 'en mass.' Therefore, you must admit that you're also willing to sacrifice something -- specifically...quality. There's something truly amazing about a pizza that comes right out of the oven. That first bite that tells you what a pizza is all about. A pizza that tells you, "This is what a pizza should taste like." Fortunately for us in Granbury, we now have the opportunity to enjoy this sensation, and Papa Murphy's is certainly a welcome ray of sunshine in the pizzeria business -- even when you have to cook it at home. Believe me, you're going to LOVE this pizza! Since my first experience, I've been back to Papa Murphy's on several occasions. Each time, my pizza was simply perfect, and consistently good. I have loved every pizza that I have tried here. They are always fresh and the taste is perfect. There is one exception, however and that is the Taco Grande. It is tasteless and has very little on it. It smells fabulous but gets a thumbs down on taste and content. I am going to stick with the other pizzas they offer. They are top notch!!! read more

We were visiting friends in Granbury, TX recently and we ordered pizza from the Papa Murphy's located on Hwy 377. We ordered online and picked up the pizza in less than 30 minutes. Papa Murphy's has always been a favorite of mine. I was saddened when both of our franchises closed in Wichita Falls TX. I was, however, a little disappointed on our visit to the Granbury location, that my favorite specialty pizza - the Taco Pizza - was not available. Papa Murphy's offers this pizza around the time of Cinco de Mayo for a limited time. I conveyed this to the employees in the Granbury location and they were sympathetic to my disappointment. They said the Taco Specialty Pizza was their favorite as well. It appears that Covid-19 had delayed the delivery of the necessary ingredients to make it. Sadly the staff members were not accommodating or helpful at the Granbury, TX location tonight. Usually the staff at the Granbury location is great, that's why I was so disappointed in my experience tonight. I called in my order ahead of time and when I arrived the staff let me know that they forgot to add on one of the toppings onto my pizza. They stated that instead of unwrapping my pizza and adding on the topping, they would just put it on the side in a cup. I thought "well that is pure laziness", but I was hopeful they would just throw that topping in for free. The manager wouldn't give the topping for free and acted like "how dare I even ask". This would have been a $1.50 charge taken off to make a customer happy. At the end of the conversation the manager reluctantly refunded the topping free of $1.50. In my recollection of our conversation he reluctantly agreed to throw in the topping for free. When I got home, checked my bag and the topping was not in the cup inside the bag. I called back on the phone and spoke to the manager and he said I told him to take off the topping. I believe he knows i was talking about the charge not the food. While on the phone, I also inquired about a coupon for $2 off a pizza I had given, which was NOT applied to my order. The manager stated that my coupon wasn't good for the style of pizza I ordered. The employees said nothing about this when I gave the coupon at the store. This made me think they didn't give me the $2 off on the coupon because they thought I was being a pain. The employees (Adrian, manager and Angel, worker) didn't act like they cared what I thought or how I felt. They acted like they cared nothing about Papa Murphy's and keeping a customer loyal. Husband and I got a stuffed pizza from here yesterday and were very pleased! The crust baked perfect and had a very fresh taste to it like homemade bread. All the toppings were placed properly and were of great quality as well. We'll definitely be back! read more

After shopping at H.E.B. one day, I decided to try a Papa Murphy's Pizza. I had never heard of them , but didn't feel like cooking that Friday night. It was delicious.!!!! Now I plan my grocery shoppping so I can bring home a pizza for dinner in Pecan Plantaion. No more frozen or delivery pizzas for me. I change out the toppings and variety from time to time. Never had one complaint from my husband and that is saying something. Try it. You won't be sorry. read more

Yikes! I got a pepperoni pizza there last Friday, and I cooked it at home per the instructions. The tomato sauce on it tasted so very very bad. And the slices of pepperoni were almost paper thin. You could actually see through them. The crust was the thinnest I've ever seen, and the tomato sauce made the thin crust soggy and limp. The only part of the pizza I ate was the outside edges that didn't have any of the sauce on them, and they were crisp. read more
