The restaurant itself is…read morevery open with a family seating area in the front and a bar in the back, with the walls covered in. Chicago based signs and decorations. My husband and I came here for lunch on a Thursday and had our baby with us. Walking in we were warmly greeted by the hostess and brought to our table. She asked us if we wanted a low table or a high table and if we needed a sling or a high chair. Our server immediately came over and got our drink order and let us look over the menu. Their menu has a lot of really good options from sandwiches to pizza and hamburgers. I decided on the Italian beef sandwich and my husband got the Halas Burger. The food came out extremely fast and was hot and fresh. My sandwich was a roast beef sandwich with onions, peppers and cheese dipped in au jus and severed with a side of au jus and Giardiniera. It tasted great. The flavors all went really well together and the giardiniera added a great crunch and slight heat to the sandwich. I got onion rings as my side, which were hot and crunchy. The Halas burger was a burger patty topped with an onion ring, mozzarella and boom boom sauce. The patty was well cooked and fresh. With the onion ring and everything else it was a great burger. The fries that came with it were hot and had good flavor. Windy City is a great lace to come and get some good food. I can definitely see it being a great place to watch a game and have a drink or two with friends or coming and just grabbing some food and hanging out with friends or family. We will definitely be back to try more things.

Fries were indeed slightly sweet with some other more complex spicing. Bleu cheese dressing really lacked any cheese flavor. The celery and carrots were wet as I always receive them so that I dry them before dipping in dressing. Service was prompt but curt. Ambiance was tired fast food. Not inviting to sit down and eat. I stood at the counter waiting while she was focused on texting on her phone and did not acknowledge me for an extended period. When she finally spoke, she simply asked, "Are you ordering?" and then continued looking at her phone throughout the interaction. Her attitude came across as rude and uninterested in helping customers. The restaurant itself was also not clean. The drink station was dirty, the cola machine appeared unclean, and the floors were sticky throughout the dining area. While there were several employees working, there seemed to be a lack of teamwork and professionalism. At one point, an employee was loudly yelling "Give me a second!" across the restaurant to another team member, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for customers. Overall, the combination of poor customer service, employee distractions, and cleanliness issues made for a very negative experience. I will be hesitant to return unless significant improvements are made.

Rather than toss them in sauce they coat them in a rub: Original, Fire, or Blazin. Blazin is a bit on the hot side for me but okay if tried separately. The rubs are so tasty you don't even need the sauces, but they are flavorful as well. My favorites so far are the spicy bleu cheese and the spicy garlic. I thought the sweet chili lime was a bit too watery and didn't love the cilantro lime ranch but I really haven't gone wrong yet. I wish I could go more often but Big Kahuna is on the pricier side as far as wings go, though the drum wings have a good amount of meat.

In the times we've waited as well as when we've ordered takeout, one observation is that typically the person(s) that are supposed to great those that order take out, are often busy chatting with restaurant patrons and others rather than being attentive to those waiting for their takeout orders. The food quality seems to be slipping. We've eaten at this location many times and while we can say that the sandwiches are decent, the boneless wings (Which we've ordered many times) are subpar at best. We've continued to apparently mistakenly give the wings a try and they get worse and worse as they are very overcooked time and time again. The last time we visited, both orders of boneless wings were super dry and rubbery. No amount of sauce can fix that. It was very unpleasant and our guest that we invited to dine with us and we purchased their meal, experienced the same low quality wings. It wasn't a good first impression. If we come back, we won't be ordering these ever again. Hoping the staff will make efforts to provide better quality food. We'll invest our discretionary money elsewhere when we want to enjoy an evening out.

This is the place that officially made me a fried chicken fan -- and no fried chicken has ever come close to Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken! Address: 126 Lovell Rd, Farragut, TN 37934 Food: 6/5 My go-to meal is the 3-piece Chicken Tenders with French Fries and Baked Beans, with an added Chicken Breast. Gus's chicken is the best fried chicken I have ever had. It's perfectly cooked with an incredible crunch on the outside, while staying moist and juicy on the inside. The spices are absolutely delicious! I've been here over 15 times, and the consistency has always been amazing every single visit. The baked beans are also the best I've ever had. The French fries are seasoned perfectly with a great crunch while still having a fluffy texture inside. ‍Service: 6/5 The service at Gus's is top tier. Every server treats each table like they're the most important customers in the building. Special shoutout to Daisy -- the last few times I've visited, she has been my server, and she remembers me every time. She even knows my order by heart now! She is genuinely one of the nicest and best servers I've ever had at any restaurant. Atmosphere: 5/5 I absolutely love the vibes at Gus's. I always feel right at home whenever I walk in. The design and menu perfectly match the restaurant's personality, and the place is always clean with plenty of comfortable seating. Value: 5/5 The prices and portions are both an A+ for me. I ordered extra food this time, but you can easily get a fantastic and affordable meal here. Final Thoughts I absolutely love Gus's, and it will forever be one of my go-to spots before going to a movie. This is some of the best fried chicken you will ever have -- if not #1, then easily Top 3 of all time. Bring your family, let Daisy take care of you, and enjoy an incredible meal! FEAST Overall Rating: 6/5 Would I Go Back?: Forever and always -- I'll keep coming back

I felt it was kind of tough and not crispy enough. Like a dark, over-fried version. Sides were okay. I like that they had collard greens. Goes well with chicken. Overall: Seems way overhyped. I like CM Chicken better. For Southern style, I've had better as well.

The chicken here is definitely good, maybe smaller in size compared to what I'm used too - regardless, flavor and crispiness is basically the same. What I found odd was that the menu was drastically smaller than the ones I've been to in Miami, which would offer other Korean staples like tteokbokki and fish cakes as additional side options. Maybe the Knoxville food scene just doesn't justify carrying those other options. I feel like this locations business is primarily takeout and delivery based since there was basically no other customers inside the physically restaurant dining in. Pricing is pretty crazy though compared to other local fried chicken options. Would not recommend the calamari as it was just average. Definitely recommending to just stick to the chicken if you do go here.

We got calamari with the golden curry sauce, wings with garlic soy & red hot pepper sauces. The red hot was very spicy (to me), but had a good flavor. I heard it gets busier on weekends for dine in. For these three items it was $55, so a a bit pricey. Nice treat though!
