I was very surprised by Jaboni's in the best way! This pizza spot has entered my top 5 favorite pizzas in Knoxville-- the cheese pizza is wonderfully priced and delicious. I didn't realize the place was local until walking in, but it's a family ran restaurant with a great charm inside. Our waitress was super friendly and very attentive to anything that we needed. She did upsell us on ranch without indicating there was a price to it, but the ranch was delicious! Well today was the day Jaboni's is amazing blew it out the water, some of the best food I've ever tasted in TN, started with Order of garlic knots, very fresh crispy, came sitting in thin layer of amazing garlic sauce with parmesan cheese, I saved the extra garlic sauce and dipped the pizza in it, next I ordered 3 types of pizza, standard cheese personal was perfectly cooked, 2nd wife got white pizza one of the best she has ever had, 3rd was grandma pie, one of the best we have ever had, the service was excellent as well, waiter was very on point & friendly (Dylan I think his name was). the place it definitely up scale, very well decorated an very comfortable booths, very nice bar area with tvs, great music playing. Nice atmosphere , tho a bit loud. Service was ok. A bit slow but everyone was friendly. The food was ok as well. I liked the truffle fries and the calamari was good. I was not impressed by my main entree. The lobster ravioli were swimming in sauce. And the sauce was really oily/greasy. The next day my leftovers was solidified with a gross layer of oil on top. Saw the sign from the highway "A taste of Long Island" All I can say as someone who grew up on Long Island is..... take the sign down. The original owner was from NY, but sold it in 2022. My husband wanted to try a bunch of pizza places we have not been to in Knoxville and this was the first in his list. We arrived and were seated quickly. The server was nice. We asked what was popular and they mentioned a few items. The kids shared a mozzarella stick kids meal and the margarita pizza. The margarita pizza barely had any cheese. I get that it's fresh mozzarella but at least have a thin layer covering the whole thing. You can see from the picture it's mostly blotches of sauce (very thinly spread) and not many toppings. The large Original Special pizza was just okay. My husband said it needed more sauce and I have to agree. The best food items out of the food we ordered were the mozzarella cheese sticks and garlic cheese bread. It's way too expensive for what you get. We paid $100 for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids - 7&9) for our food when you include a tip and were less than satisfied. read more

Being from NY it is usually not possible to find pizza made like when I grew up. This is hands down best you will find outside of NY/NJ area. It's not exactly the same, but great nonetheless. I'm not close to visit frequently, but when I head up to Knoxville, I'll definitely be back!!! read more

The pizza was excellent as was the Antipasto Salad. Draft beer was available. Service was fine. Ambience was nice but needs a little more character. The pizza and salad were ample and lasted several more meals, that being said $75 for two even with leftovers is a lot. read more

We had dinner here for the first time and were very impressed. I had a cauliflower pizza with sausage, and my friend had a meatball calzone. Everything was so tasty! Angela was our server, and she was top-notch. My friend's calzone came out a little overly brown & crispy. She immediately stepped up and had it remade without a single word from us. Overall I am glad we have a nice place to sit inside and order NY style pizza. But options are where I had to drop my score. For one, they only really have a large 18" pizza options. For a single guy or couple wanting less you have no option except to have left overs. It's just not practical. The pizza is ok for most part. Our pepperoni had a little spice bite which was good. Other menu options will likely bring us back but only if we have at least 4 people or more. Also notice the have less toppings as options for your custom pie. If you like pineapple and other less NY styles you will need to go elsewhere. Device is trying but they just don't have the staff to get you in and out quickly. read more

I had made plans ahead of time with a different restaurant to pick up a meal on New Year's Eve for 12 people and to our disappointment and dismay, the restaurant the restaurant did not carry through on their end. Lucky for me they just opened 10 minutes from my house. It's good to get a solid pizza place around the corner. My husband and I shared the Margarita pizza. The crust is solid. They claim to be Long Island pizza, knowing that Chicago and New York are know for their great pizza we had to give it a try. We ordered a Neapolitan pizza with Italian sausage. It was cook perfectly had a rolled edge crust and the bottom of the crust had a crunch to it like a pizza is supposed to have. The only exception would be the sausage that they used. Every pizzeria in Tennessee uses a sliced sausage for their pizza. In Chicago or New York and most of the country they use fresh ground Italian sausage that is placed on the pizza in clumps. We found it to be one of the best pizzerias in the Knoxville area and plan to go back again. We found it to be a bit on the pricey side for pizza , that's why I only gave it 4 stars. read more

It's been awhile but this location used to be a wood fired oven pizza place called Brixx and it was much better then it is now and judging by the amount of ( or lack of) customers while we were there, i dont think i am the only one that feels this way. Went here with my daughter and her boyfriend for dinner. The place was pretty empty when we got here. I have the veal parmigiana and my daughter had the chicken parmigiana sub. Her boyfriend got the Italian sub. They said the subs were great. My daughter liked that the chicken was small pieces and not just a chicken breast on a roll. The veal was tasty. Might have to try pizza from here next time I am in Knoxville since I am from Long Island myself.
