Called to complain that pizza was burnt the next day just as an FYI. Was called a liar and that I wanted free food. Bring pizza back well live almost 2 hours away. Just check your food before you leave this place! No responsibility for your mistake

Still the only local place we've found that truly comes close to Chicago pizza. We came in late afternoon on a Thursday with our family of five and waited quite awhile to be greeted at the counter. The space is cozy with about 4, 4-tops, a few outdoor tables, and a bar along the wall with stools in case you come in for a slice and soda deal at lunch time. We ordered breadsticks, a salad, a thin crust with pepperoni, and a stuffed pizza with sausage. They told us that we couldn't order the thin crust with half no cheese (for our lactose intolerant kiddo who still loves sauce, crust and toppings), as a heads up to anyone with similar dietary restrictions. This is due to the cook time being inconsistent for the cheese versus no cheese sides of the pie. We were asked if we were dining in or ordering to go. We opted to eat there since we live a decent distance away. Our breadsticks and house salad came out first, packed for transport and no plates or silverware were provided. They seemed confused and a bit annoyed when we asked for some. The breadsticks tasted like butter and parm doused funnel cake fries and the salad was fine...served its purpose but nothing special. Our thin crust came out next and was fresh and fabulous. My husband felt like it was a bit more overcooked than when we previously got it. Tons of cheese, slightly sweet sauce and crispy pepperoni. It is cut into squares. Lastly, our stuffed pizza came out. Again, no pie server given and we needed one desperately for the thick and gooey pizza. We waited awhile to get our requested pie utensil and then struggled to cut the pieces with our thin plasticware. The pizza was extremely fresh and tasty, however! If you are wondering what the difference is between the deep dish and stuffed, the stuffed is almost like a pizza sandwich. One pizza crust on bottom, toppings, and then another thin crust on top of those before spreading a thin layer of sauce. The crust is thicker than on a deep dish, too. I am sure that we will get pizza here again at some point, but never ever will we dine in. The trash was overflowing, every table wobbly and in need of cleaning, and unfortunately very uninviting service. They seemed quite miserable.

Just like we remembered from up north! We had a Rosati's 5 minutes from where we used to live and have been missing the BBQ beef pizza we used to get there. What a treat it was to have it in our new home state! So delicious.

Came in today with my husband for the first time ! We were immediately welcomed in ! The restaurant was clean our food was delicious- we ordered a couple appetizers while we waited for our Chicago pizza ! Our fried ravioli and our jalapeño poppers were both super delicious ! We ordered the Chicago style pizza and oh my god that is the best pizza we have had since we moved here from out of state 4 years ago ! I highly recommend this amazing establishment - delicious food , immaculate restaurant reasonable prices ---- we will be back !!!

We're visiting from Georgia for youth soccer vs. Knoxville. Rosaiti's is right next to our hotel. I'm admittedly a PIZZA SNOB and won't eat mass-produced big chain pizza... even if it's offered for free. Life is too short to eat bad pizza. I was pleasantly surprised by Rosati's!!! I ordered a 12" Thin Crust with sausage and mushroom. It was DELICIOUS. The Crust was slightly charred and crunchy. It had ample quality cheese, and the sauce was unique, not your basic plain red. It was actually seasoned well. I could taste basil and oregano. The tasty sausage was big chunk, which I prefer over crumbled. The owner checked on my take out order a couple of times and was very friendly. There are several tables for dine in. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. I highly recommend this pizzeria

Deep dish and thin crust. Pizza doesn't taste the same. It changed within the last year.

I bought two deep dish pizzas yesterday in a thin crust. Prices have went up too much and the pizza doesn't taste the same. It happened to me last time. I figured I would give them another chance, ever since they have new owners or new managers in there it's not the same, we won't be going back.

    Had to have it!

I'm from the Chi so, when in Knoxville I have to pick up pizza from Rosati's! Okay, keep in mind that it is at least a 45 minute wait for Chicago style deep dish pizza so, call ahead or be patient. Today, I tried their thin crust with Italian sausage and green bell peppers. I was satisfied with the pizza and when in this area I will be back. To me the sauce makes the pizza and Rosati has been able to maintain the taste and consistency with their sauce outside of Illinois.

I've been wanting to eat here for a while and soooo glad we finally did...the pizza was delicious! We had to order the Chicago Deep Dish Pizza since I've never had a "real" one. Because of the thick crust, the toppings are assembled upside down from the typical order. So, it's the thick crust, lots of ooey gooey cheese, fresh toppings, and chunky pizza sauce on the top. The pizzas aren't baked on a conveyor belt, but in a rotating pizza oven. This definitely helped to cook the pizza perfectly! If you haven't tried a Deep Dish Chicago Pizza, you better order one! If Deep Dish isn't for you, they offer several other styles.

Best pizza in Knoxville! The best pizza I've ever had for that matter. The ingredients are obviously fresh ... it too good. We love their deep dish Chicago style! I could eat the tomatoes on the pizza by themeselves they are so well seasoned. The staff is nice and helpful, and the music is really nice. Which might seem like an odd compliment, but it doesn't make you feel rushed or overwhelmed.

Best deep dish around. Up there with authentic Chicago style. Can't wait to go back! Small seating area inside, but well worth it.

Headed to a Smokies game, we chose to stop into SmashCity for a pregame burger…read more The service and burger came up quickly. I opted for the truffle smash and large fry. My buddy opted for the Spicy Smash. The burgers were mmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmm great, Juicy and the bun held up. Fries were fresh and would like to see maybe a topping or poutine option for them. Cool spot to get some AC and great burger before a Smokies game or a night in the old City.

SmashCity wasn't far off of the interstate, it had good ratings and although we'd been eating burgers and fries quite a bit on this roadtrip, a good burger and fries really sounded good. All of the reviews were right on - this was absolutely NOT fast food - it was fast, really fast, but the speed was just bonus. As we usually do, we split. We chose the Carolina BBQ smash. The burgers were juicy - if you're not careful, I guarantee you'll be wearing it. Two critiques, it definitely needed more sauce - I just added some of the SmashCity sauce from our fries and it worked but I really would have liked to have had more BBQ sauce. Second, the fried onions were quite burned. I pulled off most of them. The hand cut fries were piping hot, just the right amount of greasy and seasoned perfectly. Splitting the burger was a good call - I'd never have eaten the whole thing myself. The burger and fries were just over $20. When you consider a Big Mac meal at that clown place is $14, SmashCity is almost a bargain. Paul, the owner was like the energizer bunny - he was everywhere at once. Personality oozed from his pores. Make sure you tell him Sue said hi! (He won't remember me but just say hi anyway!) Now I wouldn't say SmashCity has the best burgers - that award goes to our friend Jerry. He makes a pretty mean smash burger on the blackstone. If you have an extra half hour, skip the fast food burger joints, get off that highway, and go let Paul fill your belly for the rest of your trip! You'll appreciate it!
