Pepperoni, sausage, extra cheese

Great pizza. Cool spot, too. Everything goes into a takeout box regardless of whether you take it with you or eat it there. Service was quick, place was clean. I'll be back.

Pizza became the day's comfort food as we sat indoors on that chilly afternoon at a varnished picnic table, doled out slices of tasty "pie" on paper plates and listened to thunder and the pouring rain make loud music on the tin roof. We placed our orders at the bar, the Aegean and ham/pineapple, and we picked them up from another counter. Both were loaded with plenty of toppings, and the crust was thin and crisp. We ordered soft drinks from the counter and filled the cups ourselves and retrieved our paper plates and plastic ware from a buffet table in the back. For dessert, we chose ice cream goodies from a freezer by the bar. A couple of pinball machines sit at the front of the restaurant, along with a rack of T-shirts for sale. Had the weather been nicer, we may have chosen to sit outside on the covered patio. Overall, I would return to this casual eatery. The food was good and the prices seemed reasonable.

Great find while visiting at UTK, great reviews and had to try. So glad that we did!! Great selection of specialty pizzas.. can choose from slice to whole pizza. Plus, couple different salads too. Casual atmosphere with both inside and outside Picnic table seating. Free parking lot too. The order came quick and was reasonable and tasted great!!! Highly recommend.

Vegan & GF Aegean pizza with modifications from menu.

Gluten free crust is also vegan. We order the Aegean GF, with no mozzarella or feta and add vegan cheese. Staff is usually pretty knowledgeable and helpful in navigating our choices. We also get the AMBC Lady Shredder GF, no mozzarella, no parmasean and add vegan cheese. They have a good selection of regional canned beers and sours and a few beers on tap. They also have Frog Juice Kombucha which is a plus. On our first visit staff was a bit edgy and I'd have left a four star review. But on several visits since then the edgy staff are non existent so bumping it up to five well earned stars. There is a variety of seating including big picnic tables booths and outdoor seating. There's some video games and things for the kids to do, too.

I previously ordered South Coast for an event but it was gobbled up before I could try any (*insert crying in a corner from pizza envy). I finally got to give it a try when a friend was in town and it lived up to the hype! What a quirky, casual, and family-friendly vibe inside. They also have a sizable outdoor seating area. You order at the counter and they call your name when your order is ready to be picked up. The young dude working the counter was clearly not excited about helping us, but we got in our order, grabbed our drinks, and took a seat. Silverware, paper napkins, and paper plates are on a nearby table for customers to self-serve, along with the soda machine. We wanted to see how they did a classic staple and ordered the Trois Formage (Red Base, Garlic, Mozzarella, Swiss, Cheddar, Fresh Mozzarella) and added pepperoni. After about 15-20 minutes, our name was called and our lava hot pie was ready to rock. We noticed that our pizza did not visibly have pepperoni but just assumed they put it under the cheese. Nope. It was forgotten. Wah wahhhh. The pizza was still amazing. Fresh, hot, super cheesy, chewy back crust. There is a really unique menu that I look forward to coming back to explore soon!

Trois fromage pizza

I met up with my teammate and friend Lindsay H at South Coast Pizza before a Yelp event recently and we enjoyed some deliciously cheesy pizza. The space inside is eclectic and interesting, with lots to see, including some empty(?) fish tanks. They have some outdoor seating, but we opted for inside as we'd be outside for the whole event. The menu is as eclectic as the decor, with sweet Thai chili sauce, buffalo, and ranch as options for bases. Their specialty pizzas include Korean BBQ beef, gyro pizza, pizzas with pub mustard bases, and more. It was a bit overwhelming as I've never seen some of these combinations and it was tough for me to imagine what they'd taste like. I'm not a picky eater, so I probably would've liked anything, but we kept it simple and went with the trois fromage: red base, garlic, mozzarella, swiss, cheddar, and fresh mozzarella. We asked to add pepperoni as well. The pizza was done fairly quickly and was super hot. The amount of cheese was impressive! Super cheesy and delicious. They forgot or maybe didn't understand our request to add pepperoni, but the cheese was more than enough. I liked the sauce - it wasn't too sweet. I'd definitely come back and try some of the more original and unique sounding options!

Large Island Home & Small Greek Salad

My husband and I visited South Coast Pizza after a bike road from Ijams. It was only 5 mins away and pizza after riding bikes for several hours is a must! We ordered a Greek side salad and the Island Home. They were both delicious and we had pizza to take home. The service was fast and had lots of seating (indoors & outdoors). They also have a small arcade area if you enjoy games!

Absolutely amazing food. I got the Mojo pork, and the pork literally melts in your mouth. I also got the gluten free crust and I love that they have this option! Service was decent. Great outdoor seating options for dogs.

Gluten and dairy free pizza

They have the best gluten free and dairy free pizza in town! Love all of their toppings too

The protein pizza was false advertising. The pizza is literally paper thin. The garlic teriyaki wings tasted smoked and the flavor was ass.

Expensive and not very flavorful. I have had better pizza at dominos. We won't be back.

On several visits, we have specifically requested that our garlic cheese bread and salad arrive before the pizza so we can actually enjoy the appetizer and salad course first. Tonight, we again had a very clear conversation about this request, yet everything arrived in the exact opposite order. What was most frustrating was being told that "the pizza comes out when the pizza comes out," as though there is no ability for the front staff and kitchen to coordinate timing. In an open-concept restaurant where the order staff and kitchen are working side by side, it seems like simple communication could easily solve this issue. We truly enjoy the food and want this restaurant to succeed, but proper pacing of a meal is part of good dining service. Appetizers and salads should enhance the experience -- not arrive simultaneously with or after the main course. We hope management will take this constructively because the food deserves service that matches its quality

Booths weren't comfortable. We ordered the garlic knots. They were really good. I ordered the two slices of cheese pizza. I wanted to get pepperoni but hearing the put toppings on already cooked cheese pizza.. not worth the price for subpar way to get pepperoni slices. There isn't enough time for the pepperoni to cook and yield it's flavor to the slices. Two cheese slices 5.49. Two topping slices 9.89. Almost double the price. Make that make sense. My spouse decided on the calzone because at least it was made fresh. It was pretty large and filled out the plate. Calzones were 10.99. The flavors and food was not that good to justify the prices. I get that it is a chain restaurant but the slices were what I would expect from a local gas station or grocery store. They definitely weren't nyc style in terms of flavor and uneven thick cheese. The cheese is clearly a blend of varieties. I don't think we will be back for the food. Neither options were hit out the park delicious and it's pricy for the actual value.

Still the only local place we've found that truly comes close to Chicago pizza. We came in late…read moreafternoon on a Thursday with our family of five and waited quite awhile to be greeted at the counter. The space is cozy with about 4, 4-tops, a few outdoor tables, and a bar along the wall with stools in case you come in for a slice and soda deal at lunch time. We ordered breadsticks, a salad, a thin crust with pepperoni, and a stuffed pizza with sausage. They told us that we couldn't order the thin crust with half no cheese (for our lactose intolerant kiddo who still loves sauce, crust and toppings), as a heads up to anyone with similar dietary restrictions. This is due to the cook time being inconsistent for the cheese versus no cheese sides of the pie. We were asked if we were dining in or ordering to go. We opted to eat there since we live a decent distance away. Our breadsticks and house salad came out first, packed for transport and no plates or silverware were provided. They seemed confused and a bit annoyed when we asked for some. The breadsticks tasted like butter and parm doused funnel cake fries and the salad was fine...served its purpose but nothing special. Our thin crust came out next and was fresh and fabulous. My husband felt like it was a bit more overcooked than when we previously got it. Tons of cheese, slightly sweet sauce and crispy pepperoni. It is cut into squares. Lastly, our stuffed pizza came out. Again, no pie server given and we needed one desperately for the thick and gooey pizza. We waited awhile to get our requested pie utensil and then struggled to cut the pieces with our thin plasticware. The pizza was extremely fresh and tasty, however! If you are wondering what the difference is between the deep dish and stuffed, the stuffed is almost like a pizza sandwich. One pizza crust on bottom, toppings, and then another thin crust on top of those before spreading a thin layer of sauce. The crust is thicker than on a deep dish, too. I am sure that we will get pizza here again at some point, but never ever will we dine in. The trash was overflowing, every table wobbly and in need of cleaning, and unfortunately very uninviting service. They seemed quite miserable.
