I've become a fan of Mountain Mike's pizza since trying the lunch buffet at other locations while I'm working out of town. I go in and just pay the cashier and get a plate. The salad bar looks very nice, but I'm here for pizza. Several pizzas are out on the hot serving area. I got some of the combo and some others I couldn't exactly tell what they were, but they looked good. I liked that the crust was nice and crispy, no droopy crust here! I notice they don't skimp on the cheese either or other toppings. The pepperonis they use here are very tasty and do curl up on the edges. The price is good for an all you can eat option for lunch. I could see some big burly construction worker guys coming in here to fill up before heading back to work. Now I have a good pizza buffet in town here!

The food arrives and the platter is all sizzling. I can see the shrimp on top of the grilled chicken. My friends fish and chips looked good. Bigger pieces of fish than I normally see with fish and chips. She got 3 pieces and fries. My dish was cooked well and the shrimp weren't rubbery like they get sometimes. I think this dish wasn't good enough for me to want to get it again. My friend really liked her fish, I could see they were quite thick and not dried out either. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and packed with flavor. I've honestly never had a bad meal here. Our family and group of friends--usually 20+ people--eat here at least twice a month, sometimes more. With a group that size, you'd expect to run into issues now and then, but we never do. The food is always excellent, orders are accurate, and everyone leaves happy. That's pretty impressive! One thing people should know before they visit is that this isn't a full-service restaurant. You order at the counter, they bring your food to your table, and you bus your own table when you're finished. Personally, I LOVE that concept! We would have sent then back but the waitress disappeared, about as long as it took to get the food. Only one of the four took the item home, me to give to my dogs. My New York had a gas, lighter fluid taste that I could not get passed. My wife's Prime Rib looked like a maniac with a machete cut it, horrible uneven mess of a cut, it was tough and cold. The meat loaf and beef tips arrived stone cold. The green beans had a shriveled up limp look that was very off putting. The staff showed NO interest in how long or quality of the food. Onlu asked if we wanted desert. NOPE why try it??? Overall. we will not try our luck again anytime soon.
