Best chips in town, house made. Solid margs.
Mike L.

Respectable Mexican dinners in a small family restaurant. Ingredients were fresh, tacos delicious, enchilada sauce excellent. My expectations were low for Mexican cuisine in Wisconsin but this little diner got the job done and was pretty solid (and we are both California guys who eat lots of Mexican food). The chips were delicious, hot, and fresh, though I prefer a bowl of salsa, not squeeze bottles. Margaritas were hand made and nicely done. Service was fast and friendly at the bar.

Wait was about 25 minutes on a Friday night (6:30). You can wait inside, or if it's too busy, wait at a table outside and they'll call you when there's a table. Food was great! 10/10. Chips are brought out hot right when you sit down, with red and green salsa. The salsas are good, decently spicy, and if you order the guacamole it's great, but expensive. Chips had some sort of seasoning on them, tastes salty and tangy. Drinks came out fast. Food was about a 25 minute wait for 4 people great variety of food, service was amazing even though it was so busy. The vibe is great, there's a claw machine if you go with kids, and 3 lottery machines.

Best chips in town. Hot and fresh

My friends and coworkers have been telling me about this little hole in the wall Mexican Restaurant with raving reviews. We usually dont get out that far south but today we had a Dr appointment at Drexel Square and decided to check it out. Very charming and cozy, there is probably only around 5 booths and 4 tables. You seat yourself and our server was right on top of it with chips and waters. I was warned about the huge portions so me and my hubby chose the 3 meat (steak, chicken, and shrimp) fajitas and shared. Food came out quickly and was sizzling hot. We ordered an extra set of tortillas, corn for hubby and flour for me. It was amazing, but the chips and salsas are the star of the show here. Served hot and fresh. Salsas were good, they had a red that had a little bite to it, and the green which is a little milder and my favorite. Like I said, portions re huge. We both ate and took enough home for 2 more meals. There was no plate sharing charge

My favorite local mexican restaurant for many years. Best chips & salsa. The chicken flautas and enchiladas are my favorite & the margaritas are always good too. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is small & full of life. Highly recommend!

It has improved tremendously and the food is still really good. Give this place a chance if you have tried it in the past and we're disappointed. It's great to have a Mexican restaurant close to my family in Muskego. My brother eats there every day when my sister in law is traveling.

This was the new restaurant of the week and a bookmark that I checked off. The place is obviously a…read morerepurposed restaurant because it was two dining rooms with a bar and a fire place in the smaller dining room. The colors were tame and not all the bright colors like some Mexican restaurants. The tables and chairs were out of place because they had a country look to them. My server was super friendly and very nice for a very young woman. I was served chips and salsa while waiting for my strawberry margarita. The chips were warm and fresh but not seasoned. The salsa looked horrible because it was a purée but to my surprise it was the most flavorful part of my lunch with a nice garlic flavor. The strawberry margarita was above average because it had booze in it and a deep strawberry flavor that screamed strawberry, thank you. With only my order in the kitchen my food came very quick, the place was empty. I ordered the combination plate with a first for me, chicken in Mexican food for some reason. I had a ground beef taco, chicken enchilada and al pastor tostada with rice/beans. Although the food was good it was Americanized, bland and not seasoned. All the meats were moist I must say. I got the impression that they were cooking for the elderly population in Muskego. Overall if authentic Mexican food is not what your looking for and tame Americanized is your preference than this is the place for you.

I also added lengua de res. All three tacos as well as the beans and rice were fantastic. Did I forget that the chips and salsa are good‍. Wish the salsa dish was bigger so I didn't have to break my chips to dip. The waitress we had was fantastic and made sure "without being on top of us" had cocktails and anything else we needed. And if you want a special treat and enjoy a great cocktail try the Maria Felix. Fantastic

It was super loud as there was a fan blowing on the floor and they had the World Cup playing in the kitchen. We did not ask to move, however. The salsa and chips were good. That's always key to a restaurant. I ordered a raspberry blended margarita. It was very foamy and didn't taste 1 ounce of tequila in it. It tasted nonalcoholic. I did not like it. Having a good margaritas also is a main important thing at a Mexican restaurant. I ordered three à la carte tacos. The deep fried avocado, Al Pastor and steak. The avocado taco was strong in seasoning and actually tasted burnt. Couldn't eat it. As for the steak and Al pastor , those were very good. All in all, I don't think I'd be back because there's a lot of competition for Mexican restaurants. We did go 20 minutes out of our way to try this place and there's other places closer to us in Waukesha.
