And it's an hour past now! & got the audacity to charge deposits! FOH! I absolutely paid my deposit. I absolutely arrived when I should have. And I absolutely ended up in perimeter mall rush hour traffic for no reason and had to cancel my photoshoot also for no reason. You'll remember that deposit when that chargeback hits. You are both unprofessional and a liar. Good riddance. Glad I didnt let you put all those bad vibes in my head.

If you purchased them there, they applied them for free and also applied mascara and a complimentary color of eyeshadow. Apparently, things have changed.. I went to 5 Starr because I wanted to look red carpet ready for an all-white party. It's a full service salon off Candler Rd., in the plaza with Big Lots and Dollar Tree. 5 Starr advertises lashes and brows for $5. It actually costs $10 so maybe they mean $5 per eye? Even though I walked in on a Saturday, there were no other customers. It's small with a few stations. The lady who helped me wouldn't tell me her name which was odd. I asked for a card and she gave me a one for her Instagram page, 'BeContoured'. She said I can go to her page to see her work. The card states she's a "Master Cosmetologist specializing in custom wigs, lace closures and natural hair care". What it didn't state was her name, the business address or the hours. She said she goes by "BeContoured." She was so clandestine, I was wondering if she actually worked there or if she just snuck in because she saw a customer. Nonetheless... 'BeContoured' was very nice. She said she was new and that lashes were $10, $5 if you brought your own. She was kind enough to walk me next door to the beauty supply store where she picked out some really cheap lashes for me to purchase. Then she only charged me $5. I also got my brows filled in. Ten minutes later my lashes and brows were done and they looked pretty good! My only issue was with that she didn't apply any eyeshadow or mascara. I feel like if you pay $20 to get your brows and lashes done, eyeshadow should be included. It kind of defeats the purpose to have to go home and put on eye makeup. So the negatives were the false advertising ($5 for brows), the lack of shadow and the fact that sometimes the sign says open but the door is locked. I hate that. Still, she was nice and did a good job. I'd recommend 5 Starr, unless M.A.C. still has their 2007 special.

If I had read her reviews beforehand, I would have never trusted her with my hair. Her Instagram is misleading--it makes her look professional, but in reality, she lacks proper training and should not be in the hair care business. To charge $250 for this kind of service is completely unacceptable. If you value your hair, do not go to this stylist! To everyone who need some sort of direction on taking action look into reporting her to the licensing board ‼

I also love how I can get an appointment very early in the morning. I did have to supply my own hair. They're great for styling if you want something really cute. I've since found a beautician that I can call my own, but I will definitely return for the styles that my personal stylist does not specialize in.

Our appointment started on time and ended within an hour which was great. I brought my daughter with her hair washed and blow dried.
