Three minutes from work... scheduling was super easy and I didn't have to take a day off just to have an appointment. All staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Somehow, they "forgot" to tell me that my insurance wasn't going to cover my frames and lenses. I spent hundreds of dollars more than I should have. I felt deceived and they really didn't do anything to change that. We won't be going back. read more

EXTREMELY DISSAPONTED!! I brought my prescription along with my frames to be filled on the 17th of August. Before I sat down, I asked if I would be able to have my glasses by the 29th. I was ASSURED & REASSURED that they would be ready. And on my way out I asked again to make sure I would have them by the 29th, I was going out of town and needed my glasses. I was SO Happy that they could do it and the service, I stopped & bought a Thank you card to give them when I picked up my glasses. Knowing that I needed them I called a week later on the 24th to check and make sure I would have them and I was told by Bobby Joe that the lenses broke in the process THAT DAY she knew it without putting me on hold (so why didn't they call me and tell me). She said that they are working on them, and she should have them I asked if they could be rushed once they finished, she said they are aware and she should have them by Monday or Tuesday.. I called Monday (29th) and after being passed on the phone to 2 different ladies they got Bobby Joe and she said they broke again in production (so why didn't she call me, she knew my urgency). I was more that disappointed. I understand that things happen, but I had to call each time and was told that, they broke in process THAT DAY I called .. So I didn't have my glasses and I was leaving the next day. So when I returned, I stopped by to get my glasses (9/7/22) and my glasses were still not in. Bobby Joe told me that she was working on getting me a set of frames for all the hassle and problems, and for them not having them as promised, that soften the disappointed and showed some good faith. So Today I get my glasses (9/14/22) just a few days short of a month The young lady who helped me was nice , I asked her about the lenses Bobby Joe offered me, she said she didn't see any notes and would it be okay to call me, I said yes.. So I get a call about hr or so later from Bobby joe Telling me THEY weren't going to do any about it... Sorry! Well, The moral here is that ANY Customer Service goes along way. I should have gotten a call when it was 1st discovered that I wasn't going to get my glasses or at least the 2nd time and not just dismiss my disappointment as nothing to Little Elm Eye Care. Bobby Joe had word before I called that I wasn't going to be ready in time. But then I was told about free lenses, then told No its wasn't happening, That was like a SLAP in the FACE... damn!! I did complete new patient information assigned a chart, however, I'm way TOO disappointed to ever go there again or recommend. read more

Doctor Leslie and Doctor Bert Bubela are two of the best eye doctors I have ever been to. When other doctors had trouble correcting my vision they spent extra time until I was happy. They explained all options thoroughly and the risks with each when it came to surgery options. I actually look forward to my eye appointments now thanks to Dr. Bubela and his incredible team. Dr. Bubela is so professional and personable. When he's talking to you, you feel like you are the only patient in the building; he makes it a point to get to know you, he doesn't rush through your appointment, and he is happy to answer any questions or explain anything that is unclear. The ladies at the front desk are all so sweet and friendly. If you see either Dr. Bert or Dr. Leslie Bubela they are both wonderful and will take great care of you. I do not recommend coming here. The positives: the doctor was very nice and seemed skilled. Two of the assistants were very friendly and capable and put in effort to make me comfortable. I needed a frame replacement because of discomfort, which they did, and they got me in for a second appointment to try to find out why I was uncomfortable, which was great. The negatives: if you select frames that become uncomfortable and return them, they will not refund you at all if you select cheaper frames. More importantly, the two ladies who work in the frame selection area came off as consistently judgmental and condescending, so having to work with them was really uncomfortable. When they spoke to me, it felt like they thought I was lying or stupid. One in particular questioned what I was trying to tell her about the frames hurting my nose and repeatedly pushed back on what I was trying to explain. Also, look at their responses to unhappy customers in Google reviews; they are consistently sarcastic and blame the customer, which is consistent with my experience. I've been coming here for years before they moved to the current location, and these are too notched services. A family run business (husband & wife both doctors) are extremely nice and knowledgable. The friendly staff always welcome me upon entry with all smiles. It's very clean, spacious and bathrooms clean. There's a large selection of eyewear to choose from, although pricey; there's a reason we pay for insurance benefits to share the cost. Wait times are mild, and they'll usually accommodating to my busy travel schedule to meet my concerns and frequency. Totally different experience than the VA treatment & services, and vastly better than the cattle call offices at other places. A few TV's running ESPN would be great, but chatting with the very courteous staff is a treat while waiting. There is road construction on in FM720, so plan accordingly to make appointments until it's done. read more

The one my son picked out was marked $50 OVER the retail price! We are new to the area, and don't have a lot of time to price-check, and again, staff is very friendly, so I ordered them. We have been happy...very helpful and accommodating. A little pricy on glasses, but that seems to be the norm these days. Prescriptions are right, and Dr. Bert makes sure you have what you need. Just be sure to know your benefits if you have an unusual plan...a small mix up on "or" and "and" can matter to your decision making. I was in town on Spring break from Arkansas and realized my dr sent me the wrong prescription contacts. I needed a pack to get me through and I have a script that's not normally kept in stock. I really love the facility and the staff, excellent care and service. However, my husband and I are retired and have no useful eye care insurance, and they are just too pricey for us. We will have to move on to somewhere we can afford. You are going to pay about $500 for glasses, even with insurance. I just paid $300 for lenses only, using my old frames, for a bifocal prescription that are really only reading glasses I can wear all the time. That was with the insurance I have. They would have been over $500 otherwise. I know you get what you pay for, but I'm afraid my next ones will have to come from Costco. I should have just said no when they told me the total, but I was too flabbergasted to think straight. read more

The dr visit was great but the office flat out lied to me. They told me they would contact my insurance (so I didnt feel the need to)and they had not so I neded up paying for the visit. Had they contacted them as they told me they would have been told that we still had a 2 week waiting period beofore we could use them. Even the day I left the office they said they took care of everthing with my insurance and that I was covered and I didnt pay anything. Then not even a week later I get a bill from them saying I owe for the visit. ????? Confused I am? So be careful dealing with the office/financial people. Seems the Doctors have no control over that part. read more

The staff and doctors are awesome, helpful and caring. They go through with fine detail to make sure your contact lenses fit perfectly. i just switched multifocal lenses where other places didn't have the patience or attentiveness to find a solution for you. Gone are the single focus contacts and reading glasses combination. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. If you have an issue or question, they take care of your right away and see to it that you are taken care of right. Awesome folks!! read more

My family has been going to Little Elm Eye Care with Dr. Bubela since we moved to the area over 10 years ago. Their staff is so friendly and welcoming each and every time. They have gone above and beyond many times for us with our contacts and our glasses. They even helped adjust the glasses I had even though I purchased them from another place.
