There are a few drawbacks to this location. Because of the hill the home sits on, there isn't really a good place to park, it's also inconvenient in that it's pretty far onto this home's property and looks very similar to a mailbox. The box also has a few spider issues - so those who are a bit afraid be warned. This locale had almost entirely children's books, Boxcar Children, Pony Pals, etc and had some math flash cards in the back. It was a super cute design, but I'm just not sure how often people with kids would be driving up this road or how good at weathering the outdoors this box will be. All in all the lil'ist Little Free Library I've come across, but probably one that needed a bit more thought put into it.

Little Free Library Physical Address:…read more 816 17th Ave Menlo Park, CA 94025 This location had a super adorable bench to sit on while book reviewing. The enclosures need a bit of TLC (thus the 4) but after a small search I discovered a Tao of Pooh book which I ended up taking home with me! I love when Little Free Libraries are community building centers, with benches and beautiful artwork and stones. This was one adorable little community book box and we have definitely been back since our first visit!

This is a heartwarming location of the Little Free Library! It has been here at least for the last…read moredecade, its little protected breadbox offering books for trade to all in the neighborhood. While browsing one can enjoy the lovely flowers in the yard. Fledgling patrons can plant their little rumps on the Little Readers' bench. Recommended to any passersby!

He ended up grabbing a book about black holes that he was really excited about! This is a newish addition to the appendix, and it looks like the door is a bit warped from the moisture, but we loved the Little Free Library little flower garden on top! Yay Little Free Library!

Not quite sure why something like this is on Yelp, but it is a cute little…read more"leave-a-book/take-a-book" site in front of a home in the Palo Alto Area--a nice gesture and amenity for the community. Since there is no human interaction, my rating is based off of connivence and availability of book selection (Which can also vary).

It was up in the twisty hills of Belmont and he adored seeing the fancy mailboxes dotting the houses in this area! This Little Free Library had perhaps the best quality and quantity of books for the day. There were a ton of advanced reader copies, mostly adult fiction novels. The variety of the genre's was really quite surprising and this may be a regular for us to stop by! I would have liked to have seen a bit more decoration on this one, but definitely super cute nonetheless! Yay Little Free Library!

I feel like they take something from the experience, and in looking at this LFL, it would have been so much more beautiful if it had been wooden with that gorgeous roof! But I digress. This location didn't seem very stable as the plastic was fairly thin. I understand recycling, but most of them need to stand up to harsh-ish conditions (though it's California) so when I see boxes that are flimsy or don't look weather proof I'm a little taken aback. This box had a fairly diverse selection of titles (though was a tad empty) but we didn't end up taking anything, The honey however left a book to pass on. Yay Little Free Library!

This was yet another super cute location that was designed to model after the home it was in front of! While it was a little on the empty side, the side doors allowed you to have a easier time pulling things out and leaving larger books. The honey almost picked up the star trek book, but most of the selection were hardback books, the type I read as a child - very thoughtful Newbery Medal type work.This locale was incredibly cute and well taken care of, so we would definitely come back! Yay Little Free Library!
