What a gem! My 22 year old KitchenAid 6 qt bowl lift mixer was shaking itself apart (the head was bouncing up and down and was beginning to separate from its base and was very noisy). Our Dyson Animal V7 was on the fritz. A replacement would run $400-500, even with Black Friday sales, so we decided to get an estimate to repair it. We are so glad we did! Victor's 99.99% 5-star reviews were spot on. We explained what was wrong. With so much experience, Victor was fairly sure the battery was kaput. They last about 2 years and it had already been 4 years. He gave us an estimate of $65-85 to replace the battery and dissemble, clean and reassemble the vacuum. Who knew how dirty a vacuum could get (see photo). Very reasonable, considering the battery would costing sounds at least $35-40.
